Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

@oodiebom, Hello and how are you doing? I hope your husband is getting better with each day. Thanks for letting us know about the NYC Homecoming Concert. It was great, enjoy it thoroughly. A shame the weather cut it short, I was hoping to see The Boss, Bruce Springsteen. I wrote something about that above to Sheba2011, please take a look at it. We had strong storms come through both yesterday and today. We lost power just long enough to reset everything, the kitchen appliances and TV. I hope you are not trying to over do to much. Please take care of yourself too.

@sheba2011, How about that NYC Homecoming Concert, I turned the volume way up on the TV when Andrea Bocelli came on. Also with Santana and Rob Thomas singing Smooth. A shame the weather cut the concert short. I was hoping to see Bruce Springsteen, in my early twenties a friend of mine and I would go dancing on weekends. She always would get up and dance to Bruce Springsteen. Actually she is the one that introduced me to Bruce. We worked together, on Fridays we would go out for a glass or two of vine to relax. It was a restaurant on the lower level and a large section on the upper level. The upper level contained two bars, a dance floor and lots of seats. The DJ would play music for the both of us to dance, it was a wonderful way for stress release. When Bruce Springsteen songs came up she enjoyed dancing so I would dance with her. When a song that I liked dancing to, she would dance with me. She was married and still is to the same man, but he didn’t like dancing. It was a very cold winter night, I didn’t even wanted to go out but she convinced me and we went. A Friday night, that night I met my husband. Imagine, had I stay home who knows if I would have met him. He walked in wearing a jacket that the back had all the different countries he had been to along with his astrological sign, Libra. He was in the Navy and drove up from Norfolk, Va to Alexandria, Va. I saw the jacket and said the myself I think he is in a gang LOL. It was dark, I couldn’t see very good. After many minutes he came up to me and asked to dance. He was a talker, next month we celebrate our 35th anniversary.

Good Evening. We had a brute of a thunderstorm that lasted almost an hour. Then it was again kitchen chores. I ran back and forth between segments and saw most of the show. It was spectacular and I, like you, felt very much alive. It was a great beginning, yet, an ending to all we have been through for the past year and a half. At the same time I wondered how Posh was doing and her husband as well with the theaters preparing for this year’s performances. It will be one of a day when Broadway is able to reopen.
Hubby is doing OK. He is trying to walk without either the walker or the wheelchair. I am not sure how he would do with the sit down carts in a grocery store, though that would give him the extra mobility to get around until his legs work better. No, we have not ventured out. I had one of my sulfite attacks last night which was gruesome. I needed bottled water in the house and so bought what I needed from Aldi’s. For some reason it did a number on me. Now I put it through the Mr. Coffee and hope it does the trick until I can drive to Costco. We will do the Farmer’s Market after the doctor appointment on Monday if hubby is up to it.
I found some Stove Top Dressing last night and decided to make it. I threw in carrots, scallions shallots, chestnuts. water chestnuts, scallops and clams. Great meal in seconds and some left over for tomorrow. I think we will make a trip to the Asian market soon.
Think I will mosey over to the Arcade and play a couple before returning to kitchen chores. Hope you have a great evening. Oh, yes, the things left in the car are very light weight. Watching the storm which may impact both houses in New England.

Lovely is the feeling now my world my world. 😎✨😘I just wish they could have finished
the concert.I want all the people to be safe and you don’t mess with mother nature sorry but
lightning is a deal breaker and it was going so well. 😎✨😘Maybe they will do it again this is the first time I have seen a live concert and I never
felt more alive in such a long time and I am referring to this virus.I’d rather have a taste of life then never to have tasted it at all. ✨

September
Earth, Wind & FireDo you remember, 21st night of September?
Love was changing the mind of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away
Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing
As we danced in the night
Remember
How the stars stole the night away, oh yeah
Hey, hey, hey
Ba-dee-ya, say, do you remember?
Ba-dee-ya, dancing in September
Ba-dee-ya, never was a cloudy day
Ba-du, ba-du, ba-du, ba-du
Ba-du, ba-du, ba-du, ba-du
Ba-du, ba-du, ba-du-da, yeah
My thoughts are with you
Holding hands with your heart to see you
Only blue talk and love
Remember
How we knew love was here to stay
Now December
Found the love we shared in September
Only blue talk and love
Remember
True love we share today
Hey, hey, hey
Ba-dee-ya, say, do you remember?
Ba-dee-ya, dancing in September
Ba-dee-ya, never was a cloudy day
There was a
Ba-dee-ya, say, do you remember?
Ba-dee-ya, dancing in September
Ba-dee-ya, golden dreams were shiny days
The bell was ringing, oh, oh
Our souls was singing
Do you remember, never a cloudy day, yow
There was a
Ba-dee-ya, say, do you remember?
Ba-dee-ya, dancing in September
Ba-dee-ya, never was a cloudy day
There was a
Ba-dee-ya, say, do you remember?
Ba-dee-ya, dancing in September
Ba-dee-ya, golden dreams were shiny days
Ba-dee-ya, dee-ya, dee-ya
Ba-dee-ya, dee-ya, dee-ya
Ba-dee-ya, dee-ya, dee-ya, dee-ya
Ba-dee-ya, dee-ya, dee-ya
Ba-dee-ya, dee-ya, dee-ya
Ba-dee-ya, dee-ya, dee-ya, dee-ya
