Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

So sorry to hear of your aunt’s passing. We expect it at some point, but when it comes, it is still devastating . It has been one thing after another all year. May all health issues turn around so we may enjoy life the way it is supposed to be.
Though cloudy today, the temp;s were still in the mid 90s. We expect torrential rain tomorrow and Thursday. I do not know if this is from a tropical depression or just our rain chances are up over 60% thru Thursday or Friday morning. We could still use some rain, so all is forgiven. Have no idea where tropical depression Ida is. I did read the post from Shoelady stating that they were expecting a rain event. Hope the Cape gets some of that needed rain. They are really in a drought situation that is worse than Florida’s.
I was supposed to pick up the prescriptions for hubby today, but he is in bed all tired out. I am wondering if the meds he takes makes him that sleepy. On top of this, the physicial therapist was here. She left a phone message and was concerned that one of us had fallen because our van was in the driveway. I asked her to please call with the appointment date so that both of us are on tap. Where is that phone call?????? She was supposed to be here yesterday. Go figure.
Glad that you are making plans to head to Colorado. Not sure when we will head North. May have to wait until Spring unless the winter weather is on the mild side.
Take care of yourself. Stay safe.

I am so very sorry about your aunt. No one is ever ready to face this news. I wish you peace in your heart and prayers for your entire family.💗👼🙏
Ida has arrived in the ‘burgh. She will be here tonight and all day tomorrow. Starting Thursday through the entire weekend the weather will be perfect, highs in the 70’s and lows in the 50’s. It will be so nice to sleep with the windows open.😊 Some friends may stop on Saturday so we will be able to sit on the deck without melting.
The worry words have my name written all over it!!

Worry
Worry is an extension of fear, and can also set you up for attracting that which you don’t want in your life.
We have all had the experience of worrying about something at some point in our lives. Some of us have a habitual tendency to worry, and all of us have known someone who is a chronic worrier. Worry is an extension of fear and can be a very draining experience. In order for worry to exist, we have to imagine that something bad might happen. What we are worrying about has not happened yet, however, so this bad thing is by definition a fantasy. Understood this way, worry is a self-created state of needless fear. Still, most of us worry.
One reason we worry is because we feel like we’re not in control. For example, you might worry about your loved ones driving home in bad weather. There is nothing you can do to guarantee their safe passage, but you worry until you find out they have reached their destination unharmed. In this instance, worry is an attempt to feel useful and in control. However, worrying does nothing to ensure a positive outcome and it has an unpleasant effect on your body, mind, and spirit. The good news is that there are ways to transform this kind of worry so that it has a healing effect. Just as worry uses the imagination, so does the antidote to worry. Next time you find that you are worrying, imagine the best result instead of anticipating the worst outcome. Visualize your loved ones’ path bathed in white light and clearly see in your mind’s eye their safe arrival. Imagine angels or guides watching over them as they make their way home. Generate peace and well-being instead of nervousness and unease within yourself.
Another reason we worry is that something that we know is pending but are avoiding is nagging us — an unpaid parking ticket, an upcoming test, an issue with a friend. In these cases, acknowledging that we are worried and taking action is the best solution. If you can confront the situation and own your power to change it, you’ll have no reason to worry.
Peace Out Peeps. ✨😎

To my beloved Aunt who was my favorite Aunt RIP my world will never be the same. ✨💕
I love you. 🌹In My Life
The BeatlesThere are places I’ll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I’ve loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
In my life I love you more -
Sending positive prayers and thoughts to you and your family. ✨💕

and I knew it was not my mom it’s her sister. I am devastated. My Aunt had been ill
and in a rehab I tried to reach out to her but was not able to in the last two weeks. My world is forever changed and this too shall pass. ✨Fall is in the air and for that I am
grateful.Enjoy the trails and the view if you can. 🌹
