It seems I sleep in spurts. No matter what time I am in bed, I am up at 4am or awake to that hour. Today I had a phone call from the Visiting Nurse. She had been knocking on our door. Hubby and I never heard her because we were both sound asleep. This was between 8:30 am and 9 am. Why they cannot make a phone call to say they would like to be here to check my husband is beyond me. No day or time was ever set. So, we will try tomorrow AM. She was supposed to call this evening. There were no phone calls. Well, my shopping at the farmer’s market has again been curtailed. Looks like either Friday or Saturday. We will be home three weeks on Friday and I still have not been to the Farmer’s Market. And to think Monday night at sundown we bring in the Jewish New Year. Who knew???? We will celebrate the holiday at home and will be watching our favorite renditions from NYC. The service is so moving and so beautiful.

Hubby joined me this afternoon when I made a stop at CVS and Aldi’s. In my haste at Aldi’s I forgot to purchase cottage cheese and sour cream. That was one of the primary reasons for the stop. But the best news is that hubby was able to walk around the store. Had a good parking spot as well even though we do not have the handicap thing for the car. He even was able to help to get the packages into the house after I brought them to the front door. I just hope he isn’t overdoing it.

Weather on the Gulf Coast was the same as xango’s. We had an on and off rain event and more expected tomorrow. No, I didn’t finish the kitchen. Just too tired to continue. I can honestly say I am almost half way to completion. Was too tired and the lower back was quite a nuisance. Guess it’s because of the rain. I’m going to get up very early tomorrow to see if I can finish this chore once and for all.

Take care Sheba. I know you are hurting. It is nice to see that your family is close. This is something I never had experienced. Seems the family members looked up to those who had more $$$ and let the rest of the family go wherever. Even the get togethers were based on this and there were many times that we found ourselves out cast during weddings and other events. Of course we shared this with other family members as well. And there were many hurt feelings especially those from out of town. I surmise this is the reason why I have never judged anyone nor have I ever put a number on anyone as to their background or careers. Just so sad to see it happening. Well,l enough said. I just like to see families work together.
