Thank you so much for asking about Hubby. Mr. Oodiebom is coming along. Everyday is a new adventure for me. I had to contact the plumber on the new toilet when it didn’t flush properly. Even though we have a plunger, this was a brand new install two weeks ago. The same plumber came to our rescue and couldn’t get over the difference in hubby from his last visit. Hubby has become quite the conversationalist. Of course he always was able to do this, but from a point of not talking to conversing as if nothing happened is quite a phenomenal feat in just a few short weeks. Today we had the visitation from the Visiting Nurse. All vitals were good. The Physical Therapist was also here, but didn’t do much because we still had a myriad of boxes to move so he wouldn’t bump into them. She will be here next week. At least, for now, the kitchen is almost done. I still have one countertop left to clean. And then the floor. So good to complete one major area. The kitchen bar and the dining area are next. Hubby now is helping . He can go up and down the three deep steps leading to the front door. He surprised me last night when he took the recycle barrel to the edge of the driveway for the pickup today. Of course I had more things to add, which I did.

Yes, we did have some real good downpours. However, no lightning and no thunder. Our lawn never looked so good. Even the weeds started to sprout and so they were pulled . Just like you our homeowners association will make a phone call if things do not look right. Looks like I am on a roll. Again, thanks so much for asking. See you tonight in Trivia.

Hope your Mother is fairing as best possible with the loss of her sister.
Today I hiked at a place about 30 minutes away and more inland It was nice but so hot.
Hmmm, I see Ms. Heidi has a labor day sale.

I pray for so many people never in my lifetime I have seen so many disasters the number
one being Covid-19.

Good evening to you. No worries, I am fine. I am on the western side of the state, the middle and eastern side had much more severe weather. We got a lot of rain but less than most parts of the state. Some flooding issues all around us, a school bus that got stuck about 10 minutes from my home was on Good Morning America today. Never lost power, no trees down (yet) and my house sits on the upper side of the road so no flooding. I did run to the store today and could see where there were water issues here and there.

Today was the most perfect day, guess you could say the calm after the storm. If I could find a place that had this weather all the time, I would pack up my things and move. Bright blue sky, sunshine, little breeze, no humidity, low to mid 70’s.

I showed my husband your Jake picture and he said, omg that’s him. You are so sweet to think of him each day. Sending back love and prayers to you and your aunt.💖🙏💖🙏

I wanted to say a quick hello this evening as we are leaving for Ruidoso in the morning. 🤗
We are so ready to say goodbye to this heat and humidity for awhile.

Last summer while we were there, we had a major disagreement with our cable/internet provider and discontinued service. So for that visit we didn’t have TV or internet etc. It worked out ok and we didn’t really miss it after all. My Sister was with us and in the evening when we would watch TV, we played card games or board games instead and had fun.
Hubby has done some research and will try a different provider when we return so I should be able to stay in touch this time while I am there.
I gave Jewel and Little D their vacay baths today and it didn’t take long for them to dry.🥵.
They have been ever present during the packing process today and watching me like hawks. They are so afraid they are going to miss something or get left behind. Little D followed me in/out of the closet all afternoon. He was so tired he went to bed early. Jewel just parked herself in the middle of the room to watch the show.
I’ll be thinking of you Sheba and hope you take your time. Don’t hold back the tears when the waves come.

@oodiebom, Hello you and your husband. I just wanted to send a small note and hope you are doing well. I am glad your husband is getting stronger and better. As I write this we are having another round of thunderstorms. We had several today, rain and sunshine. Take care Oodie.
