Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

I love the spoonbills being in your area no worries they are coming for your shrimp. 😜
I agree an Orthopedist is what your husband may need to be seen by. Excellent idea.
Oodie you are not lazy it is hot and humid and that can make anyone tired.
Your plate is full tomorrow. I wish you luck with the Visiting Nurse or PT tomorrow. ✨
I would love to be on Cape Cod right about now with a glass of ice tea. 😎😘
Oodie I wish I could be there with you to give you a hand. Have a good evening my
thoughts and prayers are with my Aunt tonight. My cousin is sending me some of her
things I told her nothing expensive just a small thing that she would love my Aunt was a jewelry
lover and she had a roomful of it I don’t need anymore jewelry and she was a Diva. I wonder
where she got that from. 😎😜✨ I am blessed with wonderful memories. 💕😘 -
Good evening I do hope everything went well today. Here is a nightcap for you. ✨
Hope you and hubby are watching a game. 😎

Hi Sheba. I see you are on line the same time with me. Anyhow I just wanted to give you a head’s up. There are now two spoonbills enjoying the lake. The only problem they are way down at the other end and having fun with the storks. Guess they are not hungry enough for shrimp. Will check it out tomorrow.
No phone call from the visiting nurse. I surmise she will be here sometime in the am. Will definitely go to the Farmer’s Market. Also need to put gas into the tank. I have a yen for clams, so may stop at Trader Joe’s on the return unless the Farmer’s Market has them on sale. They do have unadvertised sales when you walk into the market. At least the one I will be going to has an area where you can sit and relax. With hubby’s knees still being painful, this may be a good alternative for him. Will take the wheelchair just in case.
Some dirty dishes now await. So will now say goodnight. Tomorrow night is Trivia and I must get some beauty rest……..hmmmm………….I will be in bed early tonight.

Uninvited
Song by Alanis MorissetteLike anyone would be
I am flattered by your fascination with me
Like any hot-blooded woman
I have simply wanted an object to crave
But you, you’re not allowed
You’re uninvited
An unfortunate slight
Must be strangely exciting
To watch the stoic squirm
Must be somewhat heartening
To watch shepherd need shepherd
But you, you’re not allowed
You’re uninvited
An unfortunate slight
Like any uncharted territory
I must seem greatly intriguing
You speak of my love like
You have experienced love like mine before
But this is not allowed
You’re uninvited
An unfortunate slight
I don’t think you unworthy
I need a moment to deliberate -

Hello Sheba, How are you and your hubby doing? Today I woke up with rain. It was one large shower after another. At around 5PM, the sun came out, I didn’t have to water the plants today. Fall decorations are coming along, the entryway is done and about all right now. I was looking through a large container, found myself looking at Christmas decorations. I placed some ceramic pumpkins I had for a few years in the entryway table. My husband came home from work the other day and asked if it was new, I laughed, asked where has he been for the last four years. I haven’t started on my wreath yet, I need to be in the mood. Its been so hot I think I just want to enjoy the one with flowers I made that’s on the doo a little longer. Take care.

Howdy Sheba from the Land of Enchantment 😘. We safely arrived last Friday evening. I can’t believe that tomorrow we will have been here a week already.
We now have internet/ cable services again as of today. So now I need to catch up.
Sheba, I must tell you the first morning here we awoke to a beautiful sight. Wild horses in our front yard. About 8 mares, 2 colts and a gorgeous white stallion were eating their way up the cul de sac into the forest. We watched them until we couldn’t see them anymore and of course took pictures and a video. We have several herds here in town but we have never seen any up our way.
Yesterday afternoon about 3:00, the dogs were on the deck and just barking and barking. I came out to see what was up and saw a bear running in front of our house and went across the street between 2 neighbors houses. I know we have a resident bear in the neighborhood as he gets into those metal trash dumpsters at night.
We have been enjoying the cool weather and have resumed our walking/ hiking. We brought our bikes and ride in the morning. So far, we have ridden 2 mornings.
My Sister will be joining us on 9/18. I’m looking forward to having her here as we have fun together, especially when we all play cards.
Jewel and Little D have been enjoying being outdoors too. I do believe they are on critter alert😂😂 . I leave the sliding door open to the deck and they can come in and out as they please. Most of the time they will lie by the banister so they won’t miss anything.
I hope you and Poppy are well.
Love Flower, Jewel and Little D ❤️😘 -
No one coming today. I am totally being lazy. I think we will pick up something for dinner since we are now out of everything. Wanted to do some shopping today, but will wait another day or two.
The Physical Therapist comes once per week and never on the same day. The Visiting Nurse will be here tomorrow and again I do not know the time. I am waiting on a note from my cousin who is a physician with Mass. General in Boston. I had a question on an orthopedic group that is in Florida with offices in other states. The Physical Therapist thinks an Orthopedist is a good idea. For once I happen to agree. Just hope I pick the right group or physician.
Weather is hot and very very very humid. Feels like rain and it is becoming very cloudy. I am definitely making progress in the house, The kitchen looks real good. If only it can stay that way.
The dining area and kitchen bar are also beginning to look good. With hubby more comfortable in bed, the master is now on the back burner. Well, at least the other rooms will be in great shape and maybe this will be an incentive to move to other areas. Doctor appointment is in three weeks. I will ask about a return North. I need to see our dentist and check the houses. -
Declaring Our Intentions
If you’re feeling stuck in life and are ready for change, take time to declare to the Universe that you’re ready.
There comes a point in most of our lives when we feel ready to experience a change we’ve had trouble carrying out. Maybe we’ve been stuck in a home, a relationship, job, or a town that hasn’t felt right for a long time, but we’ve been unable to shift our circumstances in the direction we want to go. At times like this, it can help to declare to the universe that we are ready for a change. Think of it as informing a helpful friend that you need her assistance to move to the next level in your life. If the time is right, the universe will respond with opportunities and offers designed to help you create the change you wish to see.
You can begin the process of making your declaration by getting clear within yourself about what exactly you want to change. Whenever we ask anyone for help, they can assist us that much better if we are specific. The universe also appreciates our clarity and has an easier time answering a direct communication than a vague yearning. When you are clear on what you want, write your declaration on a piece of paper and place it on your altar, if you have one. If you don’t, you can also place it under your pillow or in a box on your nightstand. Set aside a period of time every day to be silent with your wishes for change, repeating your declaration like a mantra. This lets the universe know that you are ready to change and will be receptive to its efforts.
Feel free to continue to refine and redefine your declaration, and remember to be open to the many different ways in which the change you seek might come to be. Remember also to be active in your own efforts, taking opportunities that come your way, watching for signs, and always taking responsibility for your intentions. If things don’t happen quickly, try not to be discouraged; it might take time to free up energy that has been blocked and possibly serving a purpose beyond what we can understand. If you continue your conversation with the universe, declaring yourself clearly and openly, you cannot help but experience the magic of changing and being changed. Amen! ✨😎
