Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

The Summer Knows
Song by Barbra StreisandThe summer smiles, the summer knows
And unashamed, she sheds her clothes
The summer smoothes the restless sky
And lovingly she warms the sand
On which you lie
The summer knows, the summer’s wise
She sees the doubts within your eyes
And so she takes her summertime
Tells the moon to wait and the sun to linger
Twists the world ’round her summer finger
Lets you see the wonder of it all
And if you’ve learned your lesson well
There’s little more for her to tell
One last caress
It’s time to dress
For fall
And if you’ve learned your lesson well
There’s little more for her to tell
One last caress
It’s time to dress
For fall -

Sheba, hope you had a good day today! Your shopping, I am sure, is way more fun than mine!
Got my flu shot today, next will be the covid booster.

I am sure your dad and your aunts miss everyone as well. I do believe that they can see us and know when you are hurting. The one thing I am sure of is that the illness that took them no longer bothers them. They are free from all the diseases, the pain and the suffering. Bring your surf board and ride those waves Sheba. But a good cry now and then cleanses the soul so that we can master the ship.
Tpdau was a busy day. There was a knock at the door just before noon. I was still in PJs and so was hubby. Funny, we were just getting up. He wanted me to answer the door and I said “How????” I wasn’t expecting anyone. The visiting nurse said she would be here on the 23rd and the Physical Therapist wasn’t expected until 2pm. Hubby dressed in a hurry and it was the Visiting Nurse. No matter how hard I try, she never phones prior to the visit. Then she noticed that I wasn’t standing straight. My back was giving me problems. Then, no sooner had she left, there was a knock at the door. The Physical Therapist arrived an hour early. After she left, I went back to bed for a nice long nap.
Tomorrow hubby wants Costco and a few things at Aldi’s. Would love to make a brief stop at the Farmer’s Market. May have to wait until Tuesday since they are closed Sundays. Funny, that is all the shopping I have done in person for the last year and a half. Have not been to my favorite haunts in that time. All my shopping has been on line. What would do without our Androids, Cells, and computers????? On that note, think I will call it a day.
