Your game is on tonight, I guess I will have to flip between that and the Emmy’s. Although, to be honest, I don’t even know half the shows that get nominated. Will watch for the fashions.🥻👠💍

Planning on taking mom to lunch either tomorrow or Tuesday. I feel bad when I know she can’t leave the house but I can’t be there 24/7 like my sister. Beautiful weather in the ‘burgh, getting fall weather mid-week. Join me later for a cup of tea with the game.☕

Who let the dogs in???? Not me. Too many at one time. But just in case we can eat cake and then some. They are all cute as buttons. Impossible to pick one out of a crowd.

We did not go out. My back gave me a problem and hubby’s knee acted up. The clouds come and go and when you think it just may rain, there is the sun. The spoonbill has been spending more time between my home and next door neighbor. He looked like a statue as he perched on a thick branch at the other house. He/she must have found shrimp or salmon somewhere for he was dressed to the hilt in pink. We also saw another rainbow to the East of us. This one was not arched but went straight across. Colors were beautiful in orange, yellow, a light aqua and purple. If the colors were a bit vivid I might have attempted a picture with my cell.

Well, this may be the last days of summer, but summer in Florida is all year round. Our temps today are in the mid eighties, and the chance of rain is up there as well. Looks like mid or end of the week we may be in the 70s. That will be good. Maybe I can begin to cut the bushes back and do some weeding. All our plants are on the lanai. And speaking of the lanai, I will be cleaning that area sometime this week. If temps are going to be in the 70s, would be nice to take advantage of the outdoors. Nothing like reading a good book while overlooking the lake.

I know you and hubby are not in the mood for enjoyment right now, but maybe doing takeout will help get rid of the blues for a little while. Please take care of yourselves and try to find some smiles along the way. Take care and please stay safe.
