I like a blend of people where some are younger and some are older. That way you will stay young forever. Most places that are 55 and older have amenities that you pay for called HOA fees. Just be sure you know what they are for. If you decide on a condo (some are separate homes) or a villa (again some are single detached homes and others may have one building attached at the garage)., When you are part of a community where it’s 55 and older just be sure that they have the things that are of interest to you and your husband. Most places have a clubhouse with exercise equipment that most are not interested in using. Then there is the community pool. If it is a community pool I need something large. I like to swim. Some communities have a small pool that will go up to 6-8 ft at the deep end. What I used to find is that people like to gather in the middle to talk. If you want to swim, almost impossible without hurting someone’s feelings.. Do you play cards? If so, you will enjoy the clubhouse on some evenings. There should also be a place where you can share books, games, recipes, etc.. Things of interest to you do matter. Is an animal going to join your family, then make sure you can have a pet. You want a place that reflects both your personalities. Do the homes have to be a special color so that the community blends with one another. Another question you should ask if you must pay for areas you do not use such as golf, tennis, volleyball, boating, etc. Are there shows or travel plans where you can enjoy group rates. Is there shopping nearby where you can walk or use a golf cart. There was a place that we both fell in love with. It was a condo and there were four units to each area. Two upstairs and two street level. Two parking lots for each. The amenities included an olympic size pool, tennis courts, clubhouse, volleyball, boating and fishing. And oh yes, across the street, the ocean. HOA fees were $350/mo.. Drawback was you had to pay for everything regardless if you used them. Another drawback was there was no money set aside for roofing. Each unit had to pay at least $10k when the time came. There are many communities that lessen the cost of the HOA. Example: Golf. Don’t play, that’s OK. A certain percentage will be taken out of your HOA. Most communities have a monthly newsletter which gives you an idea what people do. Even though you aren’t quite ready to make your move, start doing your homework now so when the time is right you can jump right in. Hope this helps you.

Skipped the walk and bought a photo scanner. Decided after reading reviews that it was best to do myself. Then I am not sending photo’s somewhere and can control the process.

I almost purchased the cutting boards above but at $7.50 shipping decided against.

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort, ABC will present a spectacular television event, “The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World,” taking viewers on a historical journey spanning half a century and beyond at Walt Disney World in Florida. Hosted by Disney Legend and moderator of ABC’s “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg, the two-hour program will feature spectacular visuals and musical performances from Christina Aguilera and Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” Halle Bailey in front of the legendary Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park, accompanied by the renowned Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra; as well as interviews with iconic actors, actresses and athletes, Walt Disney World cast members, Disney Imagineers and executives past and present, who have all played their unique part in sprinkling pixie dust over “The Most Magical Place on Earth.” “The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World” airs FRIDAY, OCT. 1 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC. It can also be viewed the next day on demand and on Hulu, and later in the month on Disney+.

This EARidescent special event will take viewers through Walt Disney World’s humble beginnings in the swamplands of Florida and its evolution into a cultural phenomenon. Through an expansive look into the past, present and future of the vacation destination, fans will get a never-before-seen-on-TV glimpse into the journey to bring Walt’s vision to life and a look at grand plans for the future. The special will also document some of Walt Disney World’s most memorable pop-culture moments, from the many sitcoms that filmed episodes in the theme parks to the conception of the ubiquitous “I’m going to Disney World!” campaign. Plus, viewers will get a heartwarming look at how Disney and Make-A-Wish foundation have worked together for over 40 years to make kids’ Disney dreams come true.

Hi my friend, back from Mom Friday, all is well. I was teasing mom when I took her to the nail salon. She said she wanted white polish so I asked her if she was becoming a bride.👰 You can imagine the look I got!🙄 Love her and never want to have any regrets, she has always been the best mom ever.🤗 Still praying you get to Colorado soon. You and mom need each other after all this time. How wonderful it would be to be able to pray together for your aunts.🙏

@Sheba, Good Afternoon to you and poppy. Today again no rain, sunny and very windy around 12 miles per hour. I hope you are having a good day, its already October soon the holidays will be here. The Spinach recipe I make is one package of chopped Spinach 12 oz, 400 grams of Fresh Ricotta drained. 150 grams of grated Parmesan cheese, one whole egg and salt to taste if needed. I also add diced onions and garlic. I sauté the onions add the spinach and garlic cook it and allow it to dry well in the skillet. I add it to the drained Ricotta cheese, add the Parmesan cheese, then I taste it to see if salt is needed. Then if needed I add the egg, this last time I made it, it was soft enough I didn’t add the egg, but that is just me. See you in Trivia tonight.
