Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Sarah Cannon was a television and radio personality, known worldwide for her Grand Ole Opry character “Minnie Pearl.” After receiving treatment for breast cancer at our founding center in Nashville, she offered the use of her given name to promote cancer research and patient education with a vision of offering patients convenient access to early detection, clinical trials and a team approach to cancer care.
The Sarah Cannon Story
Since 1993, Sarah Cannon has taken many first steps in the fight against cancer, beginning with clinical research. With the focus of offering patients greater access to clinical trials at the earliest phases, our founders established the first community-based cancer research program and four years later, formed the first drug development program outside of an academic setting.
Formally named Sarah Cannon Research Institute in 2004, its offerings expanded into communities across the United States and United Kingdom to form one of the largest patient-centric clinical trial organizations in the world conducting drug development at all phases, including first-in-human studies.
The expansion included establishing the first clinical trials program in the United Kingdom outside of the NHS, as well as the first private molecular profiling laboratory. Through its global expertise and reach, Sarah Cannon has been instrumental in advancing therapies for patients through new drug approvals for more than two decades.
Sarah Cannon has grown to become the Cancer Institute of HCA, committed to addressing every aspect of care from diagnosis through survivorship. Today, it comprises a network of partnering hospitals offering state-of-the-art cancer care close to home for hundreds of thousands of patients, a number unmatched by any single cancer center.
This is my team thank you Minnie Pearl. ✨

I did receive the Jabbin Jack and he is cute as a button. However, it took me a long time to get it working. The directions are not that clear and getting the plugs to work were a real hassle and a headache. But, he is cute. Right now he is on our counter for dining. I will be looking for a place to display as I clean in the area. The cord isn’t that long, but I do have others that may fit since they do fit the Kindle.
So sorry that your bil isn’t feeling that well. I have a feeling that he is down in the dumps. Sometimes a conglomeration of meds may help rather than one thing at a time. You never know what will just hit a home run. No, the spoonbill has not returned. I wonder if he is in Oz??????
The housing market and HOA fees are extremely high in Florida. Where we are it includes cable, refuse pickup, water, clubhouse, pool, etc.. Pool is small, so we do not bother. There is a develpment not far from us where you pay what you use. The homes are lovely, however, I would rather be nearer to the beach.

Gypsy Woman
Song by Brian HylandFrom nowhere through a caravan
Around the campfire light
A lovely woman in motion
With hair as dark as night
Her eyes were like that of a cat in the dark
That hypnotized me with love
She was a gypsy woman,
She was a gypsy woman
She danced around and round to a guitar melody
From the fire her face was all aglow
How she enchanted me
Oh, how I’d like to hold her near
And kiss and forever whisper in her ear
I love you, gypsy woman
I love you, gypsy woman
All through the caravan
She was dancing with all the men
Waiting for the rising sun
Everyone was having fun
I hate to see the lady go
Knowing she’ll never know
That I love her, I love her
She was a gypsy woman
A gypsy woman, a gypsy woman, a gypsy woman
