I did receive the Jabbin Jack and he is cute as a button. However, it took me a long time to get it working. The directions are not that clear and getting the plugs to work were a real hassle and a headache. But, he is cute. Right now he is on our counter for dining. I will be looking for a place to display as I clean in the area. The cord isn’t that long, but I do have others that may fit since they do fit the Kindle.

So sorry that your bil isn’t feeling that well. I have a feeling that he is down in the dumps. Sometimes a conglomeration of meds may help rather than one thing at a time. You never know what will just hit a home run. No, the spoonbill has not returned. I wonder if he is in Oz??????

The housing market and HOA fees are extremely high in Florida. Where we are it includes cable, refuse pickup, water, clubhouse, pool, etc.. Pool is small, so we do not bother. There is a develpment not far from us where you pay what you use. The homes are lovely, however, I would rather be nearer to the beach.

I knew you liked candles and hope this idea works for you. Hubby is done mowing the
yards and I have put some things out my mums are perfect no rain yet but it is
coming in a couple of hours. Yay!

I did post in my OP on the Heidi Daus Thread a Shout Out to Fairemaiden I will always
wonder how she and hubby is doing. I miss her too. ✨ Everyone handle medical issues
differently I have a creative mind and habits so I just do what makes me comfortable.

If I don’t feel it I will not do it. I am still grieving my two aunts and my BIL is not well.

I just have to pray and keep busy.

Love the candle scents of autumn. You just gave me an idea on what to do with the dining room table. It’s another work day here as well. Hubby is back in bed and both knees and back are quite painful. I will use some salve later and that should help somewhat.

Interesting Trivia chat last night. A few new faces dropped in. I did two messages to the Mods. One was in the Arcade and I did a ditto in CS. So far no replies. It’s funny, in a sense, that they can manage to get one question up during the night. You would think they would be able to do all six. Well, 200 points is 200 points.

By the way, Faire’s meme is up and I wrote a short note in the Heidi thread. Hope she sees it and gives an update.

The 55 and over group in the communities in Florida remind me of a convalescent/nursing home and maybe assisted living. It seems to be a universal theme and makes me feel that it is one step closer to a bedroom you share with someone who is not related to you. It’s the same games over and over again. Bingo, Scrabble, Card and Board Games all held in the afternoon and maybe following the last meal of the day. Sorry, but it reminds me of the time my MIL’s dementia worsen and the help did not understand the situation. Reluctantly, we had to make that decision. However, in Florida, the Assisted Living is altogether different from the ones I have seen North. Here, a person can attend a matinee or even a night program such as a live show at one of the many theaters. There are a couple of theaters that offer new films at $2. Since a kitchenette is included in their villa or apartment, they can shop at local markets. Vans take them wherever and whenever for doctor appointments, etc.. They even have cooking classes and many take courses at the local community colleges and colleges. It’s a different world here, but, you do have to do your homework.

Well, I will be taking advantage of not shopping today and get some work done. I am still moving things around on my countertops in the kitchen. The bar area is again a disaster as I push things around to make one decision after another. Tomorrow I will do some weeding before the HOA gets after me for not trimming bushes and getting those nasty things out of the shrub areas. We have pickup on Wednesdays for the trimmings and weed pulling. I like that I do not have to make a trip to the dump.

By the way I did purchase the Jabbin Jack from HSN and it should arrive sometime today. It was awfully cute and I really could not resist. Walmart has it for $98, Target is selling it for $50 and Zuilly is $39.95 and Amazon has it for $50 and above the last time I looked. There seems to be different manufacturers which is why the cost seems to be higher.

Please make sure you take your sinus meds before working outside. This is sinus weather time you know. I also carry Excedrin for when those awful headaches strike. All I need is one and within minutes the headache disappears. Hope you get everything done before it rains. It is cloudy here with temps in the low 90s at the moment. Humidity is low and will be allnext week.

Hello in the land of enchantment dear friend. Enjoy this marvelous weekend.
Hubby and I are outside doing some yard things. The leaves are falling already
and we are getting them up for the lawn service to pick up Monday and we will have

a fun project we have three young children who live in back of us a fence separates
