Hi and a good evening. Just wanted to give you a heads up on the 55++. I sort of gave you an additional answer when I posted yesterday under my area in this thread. You really need to research and ask tons of questions, There is a Community on the other side of Tampa that has everything you are looking for. The only problem is that their homes are extremely high starting at $450k and over 1 mil for others. It is a very tight Community where they have their own shops, markets, doctors, churches, etc.. One question that needs to be asked and answered is if you can have family or friends visit. Some Communities will say NO others may say Yes, but not more than a week or two. If either one of you are caretakers for a family member, then two weeks would not be permissible. I do know of several places where this is written into their bylaws. I also know instances where the President of the HOA board has gone to the family to say that the family member could not stay and was given 24 hours to leave. So please do your homework.

Good Evening Sheba, I hope you and your husband had a great weekend. The temperature has come down a small bit and very breezy. That roast chicken in the air fryer recipe above looks so delicious and good enough for a Sunday dinner. How did your fall decorations go? Last week while hubby was still on vacation he helped clean the house. So this weekend we did some decorating. I tried out a new cookie recipe, that is new to me. After taking with my cousin I found out it’s an old recipe that her mother and grandmother used to do too. It’s not very sweet and melts in your mouth literally. I don’t know if you know it, and its very easy.
1 Can of Condensed Milk
500 grams of Cornstarch
80 grams of Butter at room temperature
I made only half of this recipe and it made lots of cookies
In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix carefully with a spoon or spatula.
Once it comes somewhat together using your hands knee as if it’s a dough, for 2 or 3 minutes making it a soft, pliable and smooth dough. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a table spoon to regulate size make balls. Place on cookie sheet leaving room, the will expand. Once it’s all made , with a fork press down to flatten and leaving a fork mark on each cookie.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes only, keeping an eye on them not to burn. They will look white and it look as if not baked yet as long as you don’t make them any larger than one Tablespoon size.
They are delicious to eat and easy to make.

Hi Sheba and a good evening to you. Hubby is better today, but still in pain. He let the warm shower hit his back and knee and that seemed to help. This is something we will let the doctor know at his appointment.

I awoke this morning with a migraine. To say it was bad is an understatement. I not only took an Excedrin but also included some sinus meds. It helped a little, but had to hide the head under a bunch of covers until it passed hours later. I’m OK now. Actually, now, it seems like a bad dream.

Just a few minutes ago we started talking about a return trip North. Now, all of a sudden hubby is afraid of the trip saying he isn’t sure if we should go. Told him to wait and ask the doctor when we see him. If he says NO, decision is made. If it’s OK then the decision rests on us. During our discussion, the phone rang. I didn’t answer and let the machine do it’s thing. The physical therapist called. She will be here tomorrow between 1 pm and 2 pm. Now if only I can get the Visiting Nurse to do the same.

By the way, I just tried the Keto Ice Cream from Aldi’s. Not bad. Best part, hubby is enjoying it. It will be interesting to see if his sugar is down.
