on everything today.

Hubby helped with the garbage this morning. I had the last things ready by the door. I must have fallen asleep because when I looked outside everything was at the edge of our driveway. He also returned the barrels. Our van is now packed with donations. Our neighbor helped us load. So now our great room/living room is beginning to look uncluttered. Still have some cookbooks to sort and there is a place for the ones I will keep.

I think my hubby overdid it today. The pain is back and the leg still gives way. However, I do know that the injection of steroids may not be the answer, but will help in the long run. At this point I am glad that they are trying other methods that may help for awhile. Just do not know if surgery is a good idea right now. I am hearing different stories on the anesthesia and the possibility of dementia. This is something I will check if and when the time comes. His next appointment is in December.

I haven’t mentioned a mam appointment in some time. I had problems and still have questions on their new number where you speak to a person and tell her where you need to go. Unfortunately, I kept getting the surgical area where you leave a message. And that’s what I did, but, I was never contacted. I finally gave up and since hubby’s orthopedist is in the same building I stopped by. I explained the situation and instead of being late for the mam, I was quite a few months too early. My appointment is not due until after the first of the year. They will contact me . Will also do the bone scan the same day. I could have sworn they wanted to do another mam to check on another thing they found. Oh well. I won’t complain. Bet it will be at the time of a booster and it will be another wait time.

The Physical Therapist was here and he had exercises that actually helped. Both were happy people today. He said it was quite a work out.

Cannot believe that another week has flown by. Tomorrow is Trivia. By the way, seems there were a couple of posts in our Trivia thread from last week. I answered.

No spoonbill. Wonder if he is with your BIL?????? Hoping and praying for a miracle. Hope it’s possible.

Good evening they are making my BIL comfortable both him and my husband are
at peace. ✨ We don’t know anything until the good lord say so. 💕🌹

I am glad hubby did a good job today now he can rest. Oodie were you able to get to
TCM On Demand? There are some great movies there including Westside Story which is
both of our favorites. 😘😎 I have a sinus headache and I am about to jump into the
shower. I have taken meds I just want it to go away.

Trivia tomorrow so get some beauty sleep. 😘✨

your kind thoughts and prayers during this difficult time my second Aunt was laid to
rest this week. We are still praying for my BIL. I am keeping busy as I am getting hit from
all sides of life. I say my prayers and my faith is strong I have to be.

all are having a marvelous time so will I when I get to my entire family in Colorado. 😎😘✨

Sounds like we have the same weather. 60’s next couple days and back to the 70’s next week. I have long sleeves and pants on today. Not complaining. Didn’t sleep good last night so kind of dragging. Soup and sandwiches for dinner on a fall day.🥣🥪

Mom Friday tomorrow, not sure yet how much running around we will do. When I drop mom off at the hair salon, it takes about 1-1/2 hours until she is done so I can run errands for her while I wait.

Enjoy your cool weather and walks without sweating. I’m sure this is perfect for Poppy.🤗

Create a Supportive Life Story

While we are on earth, we are all human beings in different phases of our lives and soul development.

We all have our own life story. It is filled with relationships and events that help shape who we are and what we believe to be true about the world. If you generally feel peaceful about the past and trust in your ability to handle whatever comes your way, then you are framing circumstances in a manner that serves you well. On the other hand, if you retain a lot of guilt or resentment and often feel weighed down by life, you may want to start telling yourself a new version of past and present events. No matter who the characters are in your story or what they have done, you are the only one who can give their actions the meaning they will have for you. You are the only one who can define what role you will play in your own life. By taking responsibility for your story, you are able to learn and grow, forgive and find compassion, and most importantly, move on into a brighter future.

From now on, you can choose a life story that supports you. Let it be proof of your own resilience and creativity. Be kind with the roles you give yourself and generous with how many chances you get to learn what you need to know. When you remember that you are the author of your own story, you are free to create a masterpiece. Amen! ✨
