Hope you are keeping cool on this first day of summer. I’ll update on kittens in a bit.

@Sheba, I am so sorry to hear of your daughter’s beloved dog! I know that loss is felt by all in your family and I’m glad she is not alone. I know as a mom it is also hard on you to see her suffer. It tears your heart to see her in pain and to know what that loss feels like, knowing there is nothing you can do to ease her pain. Her baby is in Heaven waiting for her; I truly believe that. I know mine are waiting for me. Your daughter will be in my prayers.
I love your big cat gallery. Some of the grey/white kittens look like baby tigers. So ridiculously adorable!

@Cherie, I am sorry to hear of your friend’s loss of her precious Labradoodle! She will be in my prayers too. I know your loss is so recent and you are feeling raw; I’m hoping you both can comfort and support each other. Yow will see your babies again. I have to remind myself of that very often. You are right in picking up on the other dog’s sadness and he/she will need some special attention and love. When my Walker lost his mommy Cuddles, he was very sad and looked all over the house for her, he even opened cabinets. It is so sad and they are mourning too.
I hope you and your family are doing ok. You are still in my prayers.

@taci, I still haven’t bought that peridot ring but I saw some Rarities earrings featuring peridot. Check them out! They are items 611-848 and 611-847. I think Carole Brodie will be at HSN soon. I love her earrings, rings, necklaces!

@deeklez, So nice to see you visit! I remember you left a very nice comment to me on another thread a while back. Stop by more often!

NOW FOR THE UPDATE ON THE BABIES: they are 8 days old today and I can’t believe it! We were really excited to hear our vet tell us we could start feeding them by bottle now but the babies wont take it yet so I guess we will try again in a few days. Meanwhile, back to our method which is syringe feeding with a nipple. It’s worked so far and all babies are getting bigger and stronger. Some babies are also now able to start going on their own which means more laundry for me, but one step closer to them being independent. We now can start feeding them a little more and less often (3-4 hours) so everything is progressing well! Still need to keep their body temps warm. They are getting so strong! The grey/white ones look like baby tigers and the black ones like baby leopards. Thanks for all the prayers! I will update soon! Mommy Alejandra is still here and seems to be recovering well. 😀
