Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

@Sheba,
Good Morning! I hope you have had a restful night. I know it is hard for you right now. I’m sending hugs to you. I’m sorry you were getting worried, I was away longer than I wanted but so exhausted from working at my daughter’s. Almost done now. In another month or so I have to put a new roof on the house and I’ve been planning to re-landscape the back yard over there. One thing at a time, and time is not what I’ve had a lot of this summer. You are right, it has been a cruel summer…
I don’t live in So Cal anymore. I grew up there, married and had my kids there but we moved to Seattle for one year and then came back to California but north of L.A. I don’t want to say exactly where I live but we are close to the Sierra Nevada foothills and Yosemite. I sure miss the ocean and its cooling ocean breezes! It does not cool off here!
I’m going to go have my morning cup of chamomile tea now. Another busy day trying to get caught up around here. Greetings and hugs to loaf, Cherie, Taci and velvet! And Hugs to all who need them! I’ll post and get caught up later today or tomorrow. -
I am still a Lancome girl. I just like to try new items. I have never tried a Serum before and this
serum that we use really is great. ♥ -

Healing What Hurts
When we are carrying the burden of our unprocessed pain, sooner or later it will inconvenience us.
Many of us are going through our lives aware of a well of pain underlying our daily awareness that we’ve felt for so long we aren’t even sure where it comes from. It almost seems as if it’s part of who we are, or the way we see the world, but it’s important to realize that this pain is something that needs to be acknowledged and processed. The longer we sit on it, the harder it is to work through, and the more likely it is that we will be forced to acknowledge it as it makes itself known to us in ways we can’t predict. Rather than waiting for this to happen, we can empower ourselves by identifying the pain and resolving to take action toward healing it.
The very thought of this brings up feelings of resistance in most of us, especially if, on the surface, our lives seem to be in order. It’s difficult to dig up the past and go into it unless we are being seriously inconvenienced by the hurt. The thing is, when we are carrying the burden of our unprocessed pain, sooner or later, it will inconvenience us. If we can be brave and proactive, we can save ourselves a lot of future suffering and free up the energy that is tied up in keeping the pain down.
There are many ways to do this, but the first step is to recognize the pain and honor it by moving our awareness into it. In this process, even if it’s just five minutes during meditation, we will begin to have a sense of what the pain is made of. It might be fear of abandonment, childhood abuse, anger at being mistreated, or some other long held wound. As we sit with the pain, we will also have a sense of whether we can deal with it by ourselves, or not. It may be time to work with a counselor, or form a healing circle with close friends. Whatever path you choose, resolve to go deep into the pain, so that you can release it fully, and set yourself free. Remember, it is never too late in life to heal what hurts, and there is never a better time than now.
Cherie this is where my head is now. ♥ Trying to heal. -
Cherie,
I read your sweet post yesterday and I saw a thread you posted on about the Nicky Butler cat pin.
That was so sweet that you got the pin for your daughters. I love you too Cherie. When you
write like this everyday even if you don’t see each other you kinda figure out each other’s
personality. I think we would know each other if we saw each other and had a conversation.I can see Loaf what I see in you is laughter I don’t know your hair color. I know Loaf is Blonde
and my hair is very dark like my avatars of me. Cherie thank you for reading things I write
like the words of wisdom and other postings I do. I appreciate that. It has been a pleasure
having you everyday. I know you are a busy woman and we all are. This thread is my diary of sorts. It details things going on in the moment. As you know this is the
15th actual thread. I will do another thread number 16 when I am ready. Well to tell you the
truth this thread is so long it’s like 3 threads in one. LOL! Oops! I did not plan this. It’s just that
I learn how to do so much on this thread with the new changes at HSN. I work hard at what
I do. I am having some Andrew Lessman Marine Collagen Peptides as I write this post.
Cherie enjoy the kids and the rest of your carefree summer. ♥No worries this is tea not coffee. ♥

Hi Sheba! Hi Ladies! I haven’t been on in a while but wanted to check in to say hi and found out the sad news. I am so sorry to hear of mcpoopoo’s passing. My heart goes out to you all! Such sad news.
I need to go back about 10-11 pages to get caught up so I’ll do that and then post to you all. I have been so busy at my daughter’s house and with my kitties I’ve barely had a minute. I have been thinking of you and have been hoping you are all well. Updates on kittens and Bull later… they are doing well.
I’m just so sorry to hear the sad news and pray you are doing ok. Her family will be in my prayers.
Hugs to Sheba, loaf, Cherie, Velveteen rabbit and Taci. If any of you are near the fires I hope you are ok. The air quality is so bad here It made me sick so hope you are ok. Update tomorrow or next day. Take care everyone and have a restful night. -
