Peace Out Peeps! Been a long day and I have a bad headache.

Cherie I will tell you about the Beekman Product that I received yesterday.
Oh I also got a nice new set of Wolfgang Puck SS Cookware. I have not
brought a set in over 10 years. Guess what the WP Set of over 10 years ago
matches up with the new set just fine. 🙂 I got it at a great price and I will not
need a new set ever again. 🙂

Well I made it (reading) back to 5 pages so I’m slowly getting caught up! Love all the words of wisdom, the Audrey Hepburn galleries and all the Lion ones! So Beautiful! Sorry I missed yours and Taci’s Birthdays! You said your birthday was the same day as Marilyn Monroe died, mine is the same as the day Elvis died! Not the same year, but the same date.
Hope Cherie’s husband has a great birthday! Take care all! Have a great day! I really need to go clean a little… ugh. I’d much rather rest today and be lazy bones. Have fun all! 😀

I am doing alright I did write to you above just dealing with things. I just came from looking
at my garden and it is beautiful. I had to water my plants cause it is sizzling here.

I am having water too. LOL! I will be here off and on tonight as it is Trivia Night. 🙂
I am so glad you are helping your daughter. What a great Mom you are and don’t forget
you have a B-Day too. 🙂 I am just having problems posting.

That is a long list. I am glad your daughter is healing. My family is hanging on so far.
What happened to Mcpoopoo is getting to me to the core. I just need to grieve for her.

@Sheba, Thanks for the refreshing water! Unfortunately, I didn’t see your post about posting here until I posted my second post! It takes me forever to type on my laptop, I can’t type as fast on it because my hands always accidentally hit the pad that moves other things. Very frustrating so i type hunt and peck method on it. The back pain from sitting in the desk chair on my other computer is not worth it. Such is life sometimes I guess.
I will enjoy the refreshing water, thank you! It is hot here too and smokey. I’m just relaxing today and doing some light cleaning. How is your day going?

Wow! This is hard to do. I keep getting logged off and it is very hard to sign back in.

Hi Sheba and Ladies, I had to end the other post Because I thought it would be bumped off for being too long (happened before). That is the latest with the kitties.
My daughter is still having a lot of pain and we have been very busy helping her with organizing her home to make the stress easier on her. It’s been so exhausting, hanging shelves, cabinets, cleaning out closets, getting rid of stuff. She has a lot packed into a little house. Next I have to do what I’ve been putting off and that is putting on a new roof (not me, gasp, a roofing company, lol) and re-landscaping the backyard. I’m designing it but will hire the work out because I’m getting too old for this! Hope to get that started in October.
Today and yesterday I took the day off from most everything and rested. I watched Leave it to Beaver and Perry Mason this morning! Will watch Laramie this afternoon! Love those old tv shows! Do any of you like them?
@loaf, I hope you are having fun at your reunion! I’ve never gone to mine, but hope to one of these years. I read you wear Tresor, so do I. It was my mother’s favorite and I wear it to feel her with me. I also wear Chanel No. 5, sometimes and Opium when I am feeling particularly nostalgic. My fave perfume is one my daughter had made for me with roses, cedar and patchoulli. I am always told how beautiful I smell when I wear it! I am almost out of it and need to have more made!
I hope your family is doing well and on the mend!
@Cherie, Are you still in San Diego on vacation? How wonderful that you get to make all these wonderful memories with your family! Enjoy! Hope your heart is contining to heal from Simba. It will take some time. She will always be with you.

Hi Sheba! Hi Ladies! Good Morning! Hope your days are going well so far! I still haven’t been able to go back to all the pages to get caught up but I saw I missed your birthday Sheba! I’m so sorry I wasn’t on to wish you a happy one but I hope it was! Did you do anything special? I hope you had a wonderful and happy day! I used to dread my birthday because it meant getting older but my mind frame now is one of gratitude for another year! I’ve lost friends and family younger than me so life is truly a gift and every day is to be treasured! 😀 I hope you were especially treasured on your special day! 😀
My day so far has been spent playing with Bull and the older kittens, not to mention the usual routine of cat meds, feeding and cleaning. Had to take Roberto (the 19 yr. old with the stage 2 kidney disease) in to the vet the other day. He had an open sore on his neck that was bleeding. Got some antibiotics for him. Dr checked his blood and weight and found out that his kidney disease has reversed itself and he has gained back a whole pound! We are thrilled! Dr. said he no longer has to eat the horrible kidney food he hates but can mix the other cat’s food into it. Roberto is VERY happy about that! And we can go without injecting fluids once a week for about a month and see how he is doing. Things are definitely improving for Roberto! 😀
Bull is 8 weeks old now and has received his first shots 2 weeks ago. Dr said at that time he will have to remain isolated from all other cats and kittens until he is old enough to develop antibodies in his system so he will need to be isolated foe probably another month or longer. We had the front room carpets cleaned and sanitized for him and moved him in there. That room was used for the cats to watch tv! LOL! Yes, they watch tv! They love westerns, and football, and occasionally HSN! OMG I LOVE my silly, cuddly, funny, and adorable cats! 😀
The older kittens are still in quarantine but will see the vet soon and I expect that to be lifted. They all appear to be completely healthy now as none are displaying anymore symptoms – no runny eyes, noses, or wheezing. I think any sneezing has been due to the poor air quality from the fires. It’s been really bad.
More in another post in a few, seems if it gets too long it bumps me off…
