Good afternoon and Happy Saturday to you and Poppy. Hope you had an enjoyable day despite the heat. Seems like you are feeling better and your plants need your TLC.
Yesterday we were blessed with quite a storm—heavy rain, hail and very “Windy”. We were rewarded with a wonderfully rain cooled 67 deg afternoon. 🌧🌧
We are all good and staying til the end of the month. I’ve found some great jewelry pieces and thoroughly believe in the Iris Apfel mantra, more is more, less is a bore!!! 😀
My 2 little ones would look fabulous in sunglasses. Little D said he wanted aviator ones and Jewel asked for Joan Boyce😎.
Finishing up on a furniture project. Giving an old bookcase a new look with southwest colors and a feather design.
We are having loud rolling thunder as I type. Getting darker too. I believe the monsoon weather has finally started.
I know this is not your first rodeo, (heatwave) in OZ. My hubby was stationed at McConnell AFB in the 70’s in the summertime. You stay cool. We all pray you get a break soon.

Good Morning in Cali. We are triple digits today I have been up since 5:00 a.m.
Hubby and I watered all the plants and flowers. Going to be a scorcher. 🙂 I would
