I think the same way! I just want a safe and reliable car! The Infiniti has been a great car and very reliable. We have never needed any major work until now but the car is now 17 years old! I would definitely buy an Infiniti again! When it comes time to get a replacement for the Honda van, we will either get another Honda van or SUV or an Infiniti SUV. My hubby also would like a Toyota Tundra truck so we will see… That is years down the road. My son loves his truck.
I bet your BP was sky rocketing the night before! I’m about to take mine in a few. That scar sounds like an impressive war wound. My FIL used to call his scar his zipper. Lol! That’s a good attitude to have… you are alive! That is the important thing! I’m on meds too. I take blood pressure (metoprolol), rythmol (regulates my heart), statin, and a 325 dose aspirin for my blood thinner. If I have the surgery for the AFib I may be able to go off the rythmol which is incentive enough to have it! It is a very potent drug and I wish I didn’t have to be on it. But for now it works and is doing its job. 😀 Thank you so much for prayers for me and hubby! I forgot to say that when he fell and broke his ribs, he also knocked his crown out! He really had a bad day! I hope you have a good night. One of these days you are going to have to tell me about that job you had and all the perks of being around all those shoes and handbags! Lucky girl! 😀 Hugs to your fur babies! 😀

Nice, classy car! I’m not that particular with cars; as long as it’s safe and not super ugly. But if anyone would ever say pick any car you want, it would definitely be a Mercedes. My best girlfriend has that car so I know all about it. Best of luck with it and safe driving.

As far as meds go, I was on blood pressure and cholesterol before the surgery and am still on them. The only extra I have is a baby aspirin daily. I had a valve replaced and a nice scar on my chest so no more v-necks for me! But I’m alive.

Yep, cried like a baby here too! Hey, Thanks for the Paul Wilbur above! So sweet of you! What the heck is going on with your teeth? I’m glad they used that xray machine on you. There is no way you can handle regular xrays when you are having nerve pain like that! I just hope it doesn’t ever happen again but it would be nice to know what caused it. Did you see the specialist or your regular dentist?

Yep, that is our car! I forgot to mention it has a sunroof. They come in handy with pets. The infiniti has a sunroof so we always took Walker to the vet in that car. He refused to go in a cat carrier and he was a very big boy @ 23.5 pounds so we buckled him in on the back seat and he would just enjoy the view through the sun roof! 😀

Yes, you’ve got it right. Allergic to Iodine so I have to take the Prednisone starting tonight and finishing 1 hr before the procedure. Benedryl is the other med they will use and it will be given in a large amount so it goes into my IV along with something else and whatever they use to knock me out. I think I will be out for a long time. I take two of the doses of prednisone tonight with food but the dose in the morning with just water because I have to fast at midnight. I take 6 tabs at 8pm and then 3 tabs at 11 pm and the remaining 3 tabs tomorrow morning. I just want to get it over with at this point because I have been dreading it for some time now. I will have to have an ice pak on me after the procedure and will be sore. As far as what comes next, I don’t know. It depends on what happens tomorrow and how I start feeling. But the surgery you are talking about is for the AFib to stabilize me. No one has called me yet to set up the sleep apnea test. If I have that and need a machine it may help me have more energy. I will let you know as I know more. Thanks for asking and for your concern. And THANK YOU for the prayers! It really helps bring me comfort! 😀 What scares me the most is going into anaphylactic shock from the Iodine. That is the reason they pre medicate me with the prednisone and the benadryl. I hope it works. I’m not really worried about the procedure because my Dr does tons of these, it’s knowing something I am allergic to is going to be injected into my veins and heart that gives me, ok, I’ll admit it – down right panic! I know I am in good hands and I’m not the first person allergic to this stuff that has had to have this procedure. I am very very appreciative for the prayers! I’m going to relax tonight as best I can and tomorrow will be here before we know it.
I just got back from my mani/pedi which I really needed to de-stress. Now I’ve got laundry to do and pack some things for the hospital if they keep me. They will keep me if they put a stent in. Since the nuclear test stated “high probability of blockage”, I won’t be surprised if one is placed. Well, enough about me…
