I read your thread OMG! I saw the Will Smith and a home getting ready to burn.
I also saw the young lady running to get her disabled mom. I hope she made it
out. What is going on in the world? Keep us updated. I know Cherie will check in
at some point and time. I will continue prays. Please just rest.

I know, that is why I put it on the weather channel. The other stations want to talk about congress, Russia garbage, and like you said… the same old B.S. which is why I don’t watch the news anymore.
I updated below at the praying hands. It is awful. I still haven’t slept. I think Cherie lives further south and I think Taci lives north of there but I could be wrong. I sure hope they are alright! I hope their families are alright! It has been such a fast moving and furious fire, totally unpredictable because of the wind shifts. Please Cherie and Taci, let us know if you are alright.

Hi Sheba and everyone, I have to update: It has been a roller coaster ride today. A few hours earlier, found out my MIL’s house was still standing and was overjoyed only to then discover another fire broke out behind her house and it is moving fast and furious. She wasn’t allowed to stay and was evacuated again. My SIL has been issued a mandatory evacuation too. The fire is closer and bigger now and both are very scared. Earlier the firemen were at her gate trying to put out the flames but I guess it’s too dangerous now. They are on their way to BIL’s house in Valencia via the 101 which has been opened for the mass exodus out of there. Going to ask for continued prayer. I thought they were off the hook and then, Poof! A new fire has sprung up and it means business too.
It is so hard to watch the coverage and see the scared wildlife and the stories of people who have lost everything and their pets. One man said he lost his horse, his peacock and three of his five dogs. I think he lost his home too. My heart breaks. I saw a video of Will Smith (who also lives near my MIL) and it was recorded earlier today before the second mandatory evacuation went out. He was out of breath and asking others to leave if told to evacuate. I am sure he has left by now. I think he recorded it when the second fire broke out behind MIL’s house.
I saw coverage of a deer running from the fire and a bunny scared and confused. It’s so sad and upsetting. I hope it ends soon. God bless the firemen and volunteers who work so hard to help everyone. I will update more when I know more. Thanks for the prayers.

Let me know how you are doing especially your family who are in the fire. I don’t like
what I am seeing. C. Jenner house is gone several celebrities have lost homes. The
Weather Channel seems to the only channel covering it.

The rest of the national news is the same ole BS.

@kittengirl, Taci and Cherie are you all alright? I am watching the fire on the Weather
Channel. Good grief this is too much. Prayers to all.

Living A Day In Grace

Grace exists in all situations and in every moment, yet all too often we may overlook its presence.

Grace is always with us. It flows like a river through our lives, artfully reminding us that there is magic and power beyond what our eyes can see. At times we catch its subtle beauty, like during chance meetings, near misses, and insights that seem to come from nowhere. Other times we experience grace in all its powerful surety such as when a job or relationship comes to an end. Though we may forget that this is grace at work too, it is indeed influencing our lives, helping us to move forward and take the next step. Grace exists in all situations, in every moment, yet all too often we may overlook its presence.

Imagine how it would feel to live an entire day in grace, to fully appreciate that your day is unfolding in absolute perfection. Whereas usually you might miss the magic in ordinary events and interactions, on this day you would recognize them all as little miracles. Perhaps you could begin with your first deep breaths in the morning, becoming aware that there is an abundant supply of air for you to breathe. Your lungs know just how to carry oxygen to your blood, and your blood knows where to carry it from there. This is grace at work. You might appreciate the brilliant sunshine, the warm summertime rain, or the possibilities for learning that greet you at every turn. You might notice the ease with which you do your job or laugh with a close friend. These things are also grace. Even laying your head down at the end of this day and resting in the stillness of night is grace.

With each opportunity you give yourself to enjoy this current of benevolence, you may discover a deeper peace. Your faith may strengthen and your heart may open. You might begin to wonder if struggle is really all that necessary after all. By living this one day in grace, you might open the door to many more. ♥♥♥

I sure will be cooking Thanksgiving Dinner. I love doing that. ♥ Have a great time
tonight. I love the Movie The Queen with Dame Helen Mirren she won the Oscar
for that role. Helen is great in any movie and I have been a fan a long time.

I am sorry about your lower back. You have a lot going on too and I love that
Heidi Daus got back with you. I have also whispered into ears about the bichon pin
as well. 🙂

Truthfully, I am watching the movie The Queen starring Helen Mirren. The Britain- Themed Party is tonight. It is outdoors since they are finishing renovations on the banquet hall. Imagine Outdoors. It will be in the low seventies I hope. My lower back is a little tender still so dancing is off the table which kills me since dancing is one of my greatest pleasures. A rude plush corgi toy is supposed to be delivered today. If not, I found a Cavalier King Charles toy in my journeys.

Truthfully, I would like to be Monday at noon since my two co-chair events will be done.

Time to plan for a Hannukah and time to get feelers out there for a doggie.

I love the Waterford Crystals Ornaments♥ I have them too keep those red boxes as
they have red velvet on the inside. I store my Ornaments back into them every year.

The box with the new Nativity takes at least three people to lift. I also have some
smaller sets. This will go to our children. ♥

Cherie I know what you mean by a change in sleeping habits. I too am having this
problem it is strange as I have never had something like this before. Hmm…

I woke up to a winter wonderland. LOL! Fine with me as the snow is melting now.
It did look beautiful but we were at 26 degrees. I have to keep an eye on the weather
it can be a problem during certain hours. I have a lot on my plate. Always something
to do. That’s life. C’est la vie. ♥ Enjoy your day Cherie. ♥ Tell me you are not near the Fires.
