Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

Good Luck with your Cancer Charity I am so proud of you. I had a talk with my cousin
who is in hospice today and she is not well. I think we will never talk again. Our family
is devastated. My Aunt just passed in February that was her mother her brother passed
two years ago this month. The brother and sister had cancer my Aunt did not. My
daughter is a cancer survivor she had a rare form and was too young but made it.I prey for a cure for cancer in my lifetime. One can only hope. God Bless your work.

Very glad you are sleeping. We need to get our rest so we can tackle all that comes our way.
Tomorrow is the breakfast I am co-chairing for the Cancer group. Was just taking notes so I can introduce the speaker. After that I will breathe.
In the meantime I keep checking what is happening in California. This is awful.
Stay warm. We will both keep praying.

@Sheba,
Thank you so much for the beautiful cornucopia! 😀 Thanksgiving will soon be here and we have so much for which to be thankful! I am glad you finally got some sleep. That is always so nice to get a good night’s sleep. I’m not sure if my sleep was affected by the time change or if it was from having to adjust the time for taking my meds. I did finally sleep well once I knew MIL and SIL were out of the fires and at my BIL’s house. My latest update is that my SIL’s house is still standing and her evacuation has been lifted and she has been given the ok to go home so both she and MIL are returning there. MIL’s house is still in danger and she is not allowed in the area. The air is really bad and they are both wearing masks. SIL’s house is still very smoky. I wish they would stay at BIL’s house a little longer but I understand the need to be “home”. I am relieved they are alright. I found out the Ronald Reagan Library is safe and my parents old house is safe but I don’t know about the “horsey house” I talked of yesterday.
We were getting the smoke from the north yesterday. The sky was grey like fog that never lifted, the sun was trying to break through with a golden glow. The fires must be getting better up there because the sky is blue today. I hope for the sake of all those people and animals that is true. There is not much coverage today and I am in need of distraction so I am watching football. My Bears won! 😀 I am watching the Rams game now and it is amazing the sky is blue over the coliseum when so close by it’s as if the world is ending. I hope that is a sign that conditions are improving.
Sheba, there is much truth in what you say about following the animals. “Ask the animals and they will teach you” (Job 12:7). @Cherie, I hope you enjoy your diversion tv tonight! I’m going to watch either Football or a movie for a diversion, maybe a comedy, I could use a laugh about now.
Shout out to loaf, Taci, velvet, bichon. Hope all who watch TWD enjoy it tonight! Have a great evening everyone and I hope you all get your rest and stay safe! 😀 -

Hawk Medicine
Using our spiritual vision, we can look deeply into the inner light that guides us, seeing clearly what is not visible.
Hawks have the power to soar high above the earth, giving them a perspective previously only available to the inhabitants of the heavens above. Because of this, people from various cultures throughout history have seen them as messengers of spirit, bringing wisdom from the heavens and the value of their higher vision down to earth. From their vantage point, riding on the wind and sunlight, they remind us today that there is a bigger picture to be seen. When we get bogged down with the details of what is right in front of us, hawks help us remember that we are part of a larger plan and that everything fits together beautifully and perfectly. Once in this expanded frame of mind, we can harness their reputation as visionaries, using their keen eyesight to focus on the exact spot that truly needs our attention. With inspiration and focus on our goal, hawks teach us how to interpret and then follow our personal vision.
Hawks were thought to be able to look directly into the sun and see what is not visible to the rest of us. Using our spiritual vision, we too can look deeply into the inner light that guides us, seeing clearly what is not visible unless sought: our personal truth glowing within us. With that knowledge, we, like the hawk, can confidently ride the winds of chance, moving as one with the flow of whirling energy. This ability is what inspired the Egyptians to make hawks the hieroglyphic symbol for the wind.
The hawk’s ability to live on land but visit the sky is a good reminder for us all. They remind us that their strength and survival comes from communing regularly with the spirit and bringing the guidance received into earthly affairs. Soaring in the province of the heavenly bodies of the sun, the stars, and the wind that moves the clouds reminds us to consider a larger perspective, one that inspires us to move through the world we inhabit with strength, certainty, and grace.

Cherie,
This was something else. I have never seen a fire so up close. The shooting did it for me.
Let’s not forget the synagogue tragedy. There are many more out there. I prey this world
gets right one day. That is my Nativity Scene and I have several sets that are smaller.I want it to remind me what this world is really about. ♥ There is hope. ♥ I hope your kids
are not affected by this. Never seen anything this close to LA. Cherie breathe and relax
today and yeah watch out little diversion program. I know it’s not for everyone but there
is something out there for everyone. I am also watching Anthony Bourdain last episode
of “Parts Unknown”. I miss he was a cool New York Chef and World Traveler. May he RIP.

Thanksgiving is not far away where did the time go? I so miss Mcpoopoo. ♥ -
I have had my first night of real sleep. The time change did a number on my body. Cherie
had a similar problem. I am hoping your families house is still there. This is so sad.
My heart goes out to all affected. Kiss the kitties. ♥
I also saw those poor animals lost. I always say follow the animals. ♥ -
Good Morning and I hope this is a good day for you and Jerry. I love the British Party
theme and I am sure you were the belle of the ball. ♥ Hey I am getting some sleep finally
it only took a whole week. The body is now in synch with time. 🙂 There was a sliver of a moon
last night it peeked in my kitchen window as if to say I’m back and yes it was. 🙂
Chilly day today and all week long. Yep the heat is on. Still praying for those in Cali. -
