Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

Apply Gentleness To Everything
Struggle can find no foothold when confronted with gentleness, because conflict can only exist when fed by two opposing forces.
Throughout life we must cope with blockages that impede our forward momentum. Whether these obstacles are of a personal, professional, or societal nature, our first instinct may be to push against the obstruction. But the simplest way to alleviate resistance is to approach it gently, with a soft manner and kind intentions. Struggle and strife can find no foothold when confronted with gentleness because conflict can only exist when fed by two opposing forces. So many areas of our lives can benefit from the application of gentleness. The beauty of gentleness lies in its multifaceted nature. It is part love, part compassion, part patience, part understanding, and part respect for others. When we move through life gently as a matter of course, we naturally attract these wonderful elements into our lives.
This does not mean that gentle people are by nature passive or meek. Rather, their copious inner power is manifested in their gentleness and their choice to move with the flow of the universe instead of against it. You can make use of gentleness in your own life by applying it in situations where you feel challenged by your circumstances or by people in your environment. As you move forward gently, the energy pervading your life will likely shift and, consequently, the blockages before you will vanish. Cooperation progresses smoothly when approached gently because all parties involved feel confident that their needs will be met. And quarrels are easily quelled with gentleness because the dualistic concepts of losing and winning are made moot by our willingness to exercise infinite patience with those whose values differ from our own.
Gentleness must be practiced, as we are inadvertently encouraged to act competitive in certain phases of our lives. At first, your established habits may make being truly gentle challenging. Yet after a time, if you commit to consciously applying gentleness to all areas of your life, whether by collaborating rather than competing or yielding graciously to the impassable roadblocks in your path in order to seek a new road, you will find that you begin to act gently habitually. Your patterns of thought and behavior become ever more peaceful, and you will discover that you encounter far less impassable resistance on your individual journey.

Cherie,
You better hold on to something.. WE will be 17 degrees today and it is snowing like crazy.
The snow has been falling all morning. I am leaving footprints and a few minutes later
they are covered. I have to go out and put some SALT out. I wish this would go all the way
to Cali. My husband and I did around 15 huge lawn bags of leaves yesterday. Yeah I had
to help. WE knew something was coming and if we waited those leaves would be too
heavy to do not to mention wet. Lawn Service will pick them up today so that’s done until
all the leaves stop falling. We are having a very early winter heat is on!I am glad you are helping your family oh Cherie you have a guest house how cool. 🙂
I wonder do you go in there when you need a break? I am glad your family is safe.
I am watching the news and weather channel and it’s like a nightmare. I hear Martin Sheen
and others lost their homes. I hope everyone has homes to go back to. I have never seen
anything like this. Prayers for Cali. Are the schools out? Cherie yes I did see TWD it looks and
feels so different. I like where the story is going. I was shocked Machonne has a son. I am
happy for her now Judith has another brother. I still miss Carl and Rick and I can feel the
loss need to watch more episodes to find out what is really going on. Negen freaked me
out talking to Judith with her math. I think Judith will take him out one day.Cherie be safe and enjoy your day with your family. ♥

Did ya get your “Zombie Fix” Sheba ….. Cherie is Loving your Words of Wisdom, there’s a Big Message in there. Hospice …. So Sorry Sheba about that situation showing up again in your Family. Cherie doesn’t do well with those places. We’re pretty busy out here … a cousin of mine and her 2 kids are staying in our casita … they will be able to return tomorrow to see if their house is still standing. @kittengirl, Cherie is Very Happy to read that one of the homes is safe and I continue to Pray the other will be safe too. Glad you’re in a safe zone @taci from these fires. Be careful in those hills … Remember a co-worker of mine chipped (half the tooth) her front tooth from a fall while hiking. Sheba, the kids know we are safe and feel good about helping out others. They are having an Absolute BLAST having their cousins living a hop & a skip away …. Literally! Thanks for your sweet concern and for asking Sheba♥ …. Stay safe All.

@Sheba, just scrolled down the thread reading. sorry yet another member of your family has cancer. I would also like to thank you Bichon!
Glad you have managed to get some sleep.
@Bichon, we no smoke as I am far south of the fires. Hope you had a good time at your party!
@Cherie, yes, I am still on the look out for the retirement place, but my son keeps saying I’m not going anywhere, too funny.
We try to explain…
Kittengirl, glad the houses are still there, but know there is probably a lot of ash, smoke and damage before its all home again.@Sheba,Husband and I hiked about 2 miles with lots of hills. The ground was so dry so I slipped a few times but didn’t fall. Next time I am wearing my hiking shoes, what was I thinking? My son came home this weekend. Three loads of laundry and a dinner out later, he is gone again, back to school. His school is still open, a few near the fires are closed.
Very sad Ms. Mcpoopoo is not here, and I know you felt or saw her.
Mcpoopoo we still think of you! -
Yes! Any day!
