Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

Oh Cherie just trying to lighten the mood. Have a slice.
-
Oh my. Oh my. This is so scrumptious!
-
Apple pie oh this is a pie gallery this is not all mine. Have some. What is your favorite pie?
-
Kittengirl,
This is a sweet potato pie. I can make this from memory. I have this twice a year.
-
Here is a sample of what my family will have. I will only have one tiny slice. We have this
Chocolate French Silk Pie twice a year. Enjoy a piece. This is alright as long as you have
one slice it will not hurt anything. I have to go for a walk just to make sure. LOL! -
Sheba; Tonight my thoughts go to your family. You are coping with so much. Health, we find out, is everything. Please take care of yourself.
Next week I will fill out an application at Tri County Humane. The ball will begin to roll. This nice Jewish girl hangs Christmas stocking for the doggies. I will stuff both for Chloe unless someone arrives before that. I leave out a bag of dog biscuits and a big bowl of water for Santa Paws.
Had lunch and a little shopping with SIL today. We are good friends and enjoy each other. Did almost no damage.
Now about your wonderful pies…………….

@Sheba,
Good Morning! We have blue skies here today, some smoke still here but sun is out and it’s a beautiful day! 😀 Yes, grandson was here yesterday and he is so adorable! I made chicken soup for him with biscuits because I have heard he has been bragging about my chicken soup, telling everyone that I make the best in the whole wide world! LOL! Then after dinner we made sugar cookies and he got to take lots of them home with him. Daughter was able to join us later and enjoy dinner and some cookies too.
I’m in Thanksgiving mode as well, doing some cleaning today and later some grocery shopping. I am looking forward to cooking dinner here and my daughter who LOVES to cook is going to make a sweet potato souffle. It is yummy, she has made it before. Hubby always makes the turkey and I make everything else. You and bichon were talking about your specialties. @bichon, so funny, reservations! Lol! And yours is a sweet potato pie! Sounds so yummy! I don’t think I have one but everyone requests me to make the mashed potatoes. They are always really creamy and no lumps. My late FIL taught me how to make them so well so I have him to thank for it. My mom taught me how to make gravy and I must say, I make great gravy, it’s all in the method (same with cream sauces). Never have lumps. It takes a while and my wrist gets tired but it is so worth it to make it from the pan drippings. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We always get a kick out of the kitties on Thanksgiving. They go crazy smelling the food baking all day. They get treated to turkey too. 😀
I hope the fires are out soon. It is so devastating and just won’t give up. I didn’t watch much coverage yesterday and none last night so I did not see that footage on the horses. It is so sad when the animals are scared and/or injured. I have such a hard time with that. Breaks my heart. Thank you for the continued prayers.
@Cherie, So happy to hear your family is alright and house too! I don’t blame them for wanting to get home though. I can’t believe there are such despicable people who take advantage of others or steal from them at times like this. One day they will get what they deserve. I am happy you were able to give them a happy time while they waited this out. You have a good heart Cherie. 😀
Shout out to Taci, velvet, bichon! Hope you are doing well and enjoying making your Thanksgiving plans. @bichon, it is going to take a lot of time so don’t rush it and please don’t think you can’t talk about your grief. I think we all understand here and wish you the best. Take however much time you need. -
To All In The Community Blessings. 🙂

The Sound of the Human Voice
Every time we use our voices, we send our energetic imprint out into the universe and to the people around us.
Whether listening to the low muted murmur of a confidential whisper or the proud declarative boom coming from behind a mic on the podium, there are few sounds more evocative than the human voice. Each human being’s voice has a unique tone that is all its own. Carrying their own signature traits and idiosyncrasies, no two voices are alike.
Yet so often, we neglect to hear these resonances under which our spoken words are floated over. A lover’s voice vibrating with tenderness can feel like a warm caress touching the body; words spoken over an angry voice can seem like bullets hitting one’s auric field; and a voice tinged with laughter can’t help but fill us with good feelings. And then there are the voices of other people we encounter. The radio announcer’s soothing baritone that accompanies us during a long ride, the cheerful chatter of children playing on the street, and the dulcet hum of a yogi in mid-mantra are just a few of the voices we may be blessed to hear on any given day. Taken together, they’re like a wondrous symphony of mellifluous notes.
Every time we use our voices, we send our energetic imprint out into the universe and to the people around us. And, like the words that we use when we speak to people, our voices can communicate what we are feeling, what we desire, and what we really mean. There is no hiding our truth that can be felt through the sound of our voices. Timidity, desire, pain, and love can all be expressed and felt through the human voice. Our voices also have the power to heal, to hurt, to love, and to transform others. When we are aware of the impact our voices can have, we can consciously choose what we are expressing. Remember that what you communicate when you speak goes beyond words. Take responsibility for the power your voice has to impact the space and the people around you, and let your voice be a sound that creates harmony and compassion in the universe.

Top of the morning to you. How was your grandson visit or did that happen? I hope you

Cherie,
The kids in GA have to work but my son will be here. I think they are planning something
in the near future. I still have a few relatives here I am cooking for. Already looking at
how I am going to do my table this year. I like doing things like this for the holidays I think
we all do.I am so glad your cousin house is alright I don’t blame her for wanting to get back.
I saw an amazing video of a woman driving through the fire to save horses. God blessed
her to make it in and out and she did save some of the horses. I will never forget that scene.I love your Thanksgiving pic lol! 🙂 Hey blessings to your entire family. 🙂
