Sheba …. I’m sure your table will be Beautiful! Cherie always pulls out the best for holiday meals too … Guests and the Kids Love it. Cherie had to take a walk just LOOKING at all those pies. Well Sheba, I’m sure you know what Cherie & Kids will be doing starting this weekend for the Firefighters! It will mean so much more this Holiday, we will make extra … as I’m sure there are units from all over. LOTS to do and it starts tomorrow … Gotta run Sheba♥ …. The pies taste almost the same. The difference is the spices. Yes you can put whip crème
and ice cream whichever one you prefer. My mom makes the best pies ever. I grew up
in the Frozen State of Illinois. We lived near Lake Michigan and I mean it was cold.

On Sunday the Wizard of Oz came on and Uncle Walt too. My mom was baking pies.
Just a memory I need to go to Colorado and watch the Wizard of OZ while my mom
make pies again.

I bought a set in the ivory. I am tempted to get another set. I love candles but don’t use them in any rooms the cats visit unless they are flameless. Ivory works well in my home. I have other flameless candles I’ve bought from HSN and Pottery Barn. They come in handy during power outages in summer and are always festive for entertaining. The only rooms I have real candles are the living room where the cats are not allowed (french doors keep them out but they can see through the glass) and on a ledge in my shower, otherwise all candles are flameless. I’m excited to get them! 🙂

@Sheba, My oh my! The pies look so yummy! What is my favorite pie, you ask! Hmmm… don’t know. It used to be chocolate cream but since I can’t have chocolate anymore I don’t really care. I like cherry pie, cherry cream cheese pie (with graham cracker crust), peach pie, key lime pie and no one makes lemon meringue like my mom did! Mmmm… I am just getting too hungry! 😀
Sheba, I have never had sweet potatoe pie! Do you put whipped cream on it like pumpkin pie?

I am happy you like your Iman bag and all your Heidi goodies! 😀 How fun that you get to add another tree to your home! Christmas is my favorite holiday and I am beginning to get into the spirit too! I also love Christmas trees and wish I had the space to put them in every room! We have just one tree. It’s a “noble fir” and 7 ft. but doesn’t have enough space for all the ornaments. We have to move furniture around and even put some in the garage temporarily to have room for the tree! I really need a bigger house! I don’t know how I used to be able to fit the kids ornaments on the tree but I did! My kids have quite a collection because every year I would buy them some special ornaments so when they grew up and moved out, they would have a collection for their own homes. All the memories…
Do you get a real tree for any of the rooms? We always used to get a real tree but since renovating the house, we got a faux tree so it won’t scratch the marble floor. I put a faux fur tree skirt under it. My cat Walker used to love lying under the tree on that fur. 😀 I hope you enjoy getting your home ready for the holidays!
