Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

Getting Back to Holiday Basics
There are many unique ways to celebrate the holidays without spending too much money or becoming exhausted in the process.
The true meaning of the holidays can easily get lost in the details. While many of the diverse festivals and feasts we celebrate are designed to be times for celebrating life, new beginnings, traditions, and landmark occasions, those sentiments can be swept away by the stress of overloaded to-do lists and seemingly never-ending holiday obligations. Yet there are many unique and satisfying ways to celebrate the holidays without spending too much money or becoming exhausted in the process. Whereas the media, and possibly even loved ones, may encourage you to do and buy more, concentrating on the spirit of faith, giving, love, and hope during the holidays can help you do more with less. You can create new holiday traditions that help you focus on what you find important.
Holidays can be a wonderful time for taking stock of what matters most to you. This can include family, community, helping those less fortunate, and loving the earth. If you feel driven to give the people in your life gifts, consider presents that encourage positive living or whose impact will continue to be felt long after the holidays. Think about donating your effort to making someone else’s life better by hosting a party for seniors or volunteering at a homeless shelter. You can also make a charitable donation or plant a seedling tree in a loved one’s name. Instead of giving your friends and family material goods, give them the gift of your time. Organize get-togethers that include relatives or acquaintances that you seldom see and emphasize togetherness, fun, and celebration. Time spent making homemade gifts can give you a chance to ruminate on what you treasure about your loved ones.
When exploring the true meaning of the holidays and getting back to the true spirit of the season, allow yourself to alter existing traditions. Even a blessing before a meal or a walk under the stars can help you reconnect with the holidays. Do what fulfills you and then stop before your celebration becomes more of a hassle than a happy occasion. Get back to the basics of generosity and goodwill, and your holiday will certainly be a rewarding one.

Cherie,
I will be feeling like this for a moment I will not let it control my life. No one in the family
would want that for any of us. I love the Bear Hug thank you I needed that.Still working on the indoor decoration and I am getting there just taking my sweet time.
Are the kids back in school? Guess what all the school have been closed here since the
Thanksgiving Break. I bet your kids would love it. 🙂 Just sit back and enjoy the season. 🙂
This the most wonderful time of the year. 🙂 -

@Cherie,
That’s so funny about your Little Boy Boots and the beef jerky! Lol! Oh, kitties… don’t you just LOVE them? Lol! You should see the frenzy around here when we try to make tuna sandwiches! Lol!Yes, a lot on my mind lately. Pumpkin and Bull are going in today to get neutered. Leaving in a bit. I hate leaving them and I hate the thought of surgery. I never do well with that. It has to be done – both Pumpkin and Bull have started spraying things and it has to be done NOW! Jess and Harper are next but haven’t exhibited any negative behavior. Jonnie is sneezing a lot and I’m hoping she is not getting an upper respiratory infection. We still have to get her fixed. Just due to the craziness of the last couple of years (the flood and all the sick babies) and how it all coincided with her heat cycles it hasn’t been able to happen and now she is starting another cycle so no sleep for me. You can’t get the surgery done while they are in heat due to the complications from bleeding. well, you CAN, but we do not want to take a chance with that and have something happen to her. She is next, before Jess and Harper, or maybe at same time.
MAINLY though on my mind is my sister. Today is a very melancholy bittersweet day. Today would have been her baby girl’s 13th birthday. She visits her grave with a balloon, flowers and a cupcake. Her ex husband doesn’t visit his daughter’s grave anymore so that makes it even sadder for her. He has moved on and has a new family now I guess. My heart just breaks from the whole thing. In 4 days it will be the anniversary. It is just so much.

We might have the same boots, Loaf. I bought my Sportos a few years ago when they were a TS. I bought burgundy with Pom poms. We were on vacation so I had them delivered to my sister’s house. I didn’t check them until after the 30 day return period expired. Well….one boot was missing the insole. Yep! One defective foot that was pretty much just a shell. I bought some insoles and had to pull out the other one from the boot that was okay. The boots aren’t warm (of course not, I am missing the inside fluff) so I wear on days when it’s just wet outside. Cute but definitely not my winter boots.

I love the floral. I also love the windowpane. I have a solid black Iman blazer and it looks great with jeans and boots. Great price for a quality blazer.

Good Morning Sheba ❄️
Time to bring out my Holiday Spectacular necklace and wear it just about every day. Thinking of adding my red Ladies First beads for even more sparkles. Go big or go home, right? 😁
Which holiday necklaces are your favorites? -
623799 IMAN BLACK FLORAL BLAZER . I REALLY LOVE IT .
