Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

Aww, Ray Bolger. Grew up on him singing Once in Love With Amy. Loved and adored the greats of yesterday. As for my favorite Christmas movie….I do not know if this was a Christmas movie or not….The Bells of Saint Mary’s with Ingrid Bergman and Bing Crosby. So touching.

Hi Kittengirl;
It so happens Chloes’s mommy is a fully licensed nutritionist. I asked her about the low carbs. Anything involving lowering your Ketones sounds wrong to me. However, I am very conscious of keeping my lipstick on. Don’t laugh. Give me something high in fat and my lipstick comes right off. That will be my testing gauge. Also, there are lots of new cheating products on the market Okay, I will call them helpful. It is the fourth day and I am not miserable and cranky. Well, not cranky about the foods.This week I will ask a friend who goes to synagogue to include your daughter in her prayers. I will be sending out all the good thoughts there are. Please know that many of my good thoughts are directed at you. You have dear friends in Cyber World.

Only doggie and people Kisses for me this year. Chocolate? Andrew Lessman of course. Bought a middle strength and high strength and will give one to Jerry each night.

Sheba …. Cherie doesn’t have any more “Kisses” either … I finished the bag (about 15) … TeeHee. I’m glad your Daughter is taking the “heat” in stride. Sounds like your Mom speaks wisely Sheba. Cherie has too much to get done and has to get going. So True, the Month is Flying by so don’t blink Sheba♥ Dear. ….. Shout out to @loaf, and @bichon18 … Hi ALL!
@kittengirl … Cherie is humbled by your kinds words … Cherie worries about your Daughter, but I’m NOT going to feed the worry. Lots of Prayers coming from S. Cali Take Care.
@taci … Well which state is calling your name? Texas, Florida, Oregon, AZ?? So funny, Cherie thinks as much as my Hubby dreams about leaving CA, in 15 yrs we’ll probably still be here … LOL.

@Sheba, I like ELF! The pictures are wonderful. I see everyone loves the latest and greatest HD Jacket and matching pin, of course. I did purchase off her website directly and WOW – what a fantastic job all around. No clothing items for me yet. I sure hope something is left by the time I am ready to shop jackets.
Hope you are feeling better and that Sinus infection is long gone.
Condolences to you and your family. Sorry for your Loss. -
@kittengirl, Wow a son in TX and Daughter in OR, either or both would be nice places to live for you. Let me know your thoughts should you visit these places. Road Trips – so how did you know? I am not planning one but my husband seems to be, he wants to check out…. drum roll… Texas – too funny. It will be early March. We know we most likely wont live there but we have to check. We will stop in AZ on the way to visit a family member.
@Bichon, thanks for the Florida info. It sounds like a great place to retire.
@Sheba and @Cherie, Yes to Choconuvo and Kisses. Those Kisses are one of my favorites!
Your family playground and my sons are also the same. Let’s just hope he waits for school to be out before going up the Mtn to Snowboard.Sheba, your son skates? As in Skateboard or Skating? Congratulations to your daughter for her promotion. Sorry about the others not being happy for her. You too Cherie, I am happy you have the option to work and that you are happy to do the type of work that makes you happy. Got all that 🙂

@Sheba,
Home Alone is my fave because the little boy reminds me of my son when he was little. He was always inventing things. The little boy reminds me of my grandson too because he is a lot like my son! 😀
I also love Miracle on 34th Street and It’s a Wonderful Life. -
@Sheba,
I posted to you but it went poof! I will try again…
Love the pic from Home Alone! Not only did it make me smile but it made me LOL! I am going to have so much fun with grandson tomorrow! 😀
Thank you for the prayers. I am not going to go there. I am going to believe good things. -
Just enjoy.

Amy not only am I in Kansas but I got to work with the scarecrow from the original
Wizard of Oz Ray Bolger. I had so much fun and it was for one time only during a concert.
Ray’s wife was so nice and I was a young girl. ♥ They lived in Beverly Hills. I will never
forget that night. 🙂 So I do have something from the Wizard Movie I actually worked with
the Scarecrow he is so funny in real life. Pure Joy! -
@Cherie,
Wow! You researched Plumbago capensis! Isn’t that a pretty vine? Yes, Alexi’s eyes were so pretty! I always used to say that if I were a mouse or bird about to be eaten by her that at least I would have been so mesmerized by her eyes that I probably wouldn’t have felt a thing! Lol! She never hurt a fly though and she was indoors so no hunting for her.
Glad you support the no-kill shelters too. Not all SPCA’s are like the ones in my area. From what I understand it is up to each branch and city council as to whether they want no-kill or not, but the cats are especially vulnerable. I help fund the organizations that go in and rescue the cats from being killed. Dogs usually are not put down (not as often) because they are considered more adoptable. Cats usually aren’t even given their alotted three days. So as long as there are cats to help I will be helping. I have a lot of kitties and can’t take any more in so this is how I help. I often wish I had lots of land and a sprawling ranch so I could take in more. I am glad that what I posted about the spca was not lost on you and was read. Even if only one person read it, it helps.
I have a Cali King bed too (of course, lol)! Sounds so wonderful all of you spread out together reading! Brings back memories! Enjoy these times with your kids, they are very special. 😀 One of my fave scenes in Sound of Music was when the kids were with Maria on her bed during the thunderstorm.
I read your jealousy remark about work. I just have to say, that if I worked, YOU are exactly the kind of person I would love working with! Who wants to work with people that hate their jobs? I want to work with someone that wants to be there and enjoys it! Sure makes the day easier! I am happy for all the people that get to come in contact with you – you spread sunshine! Or as your mom would say, Funshine! Lol! 😀 Have a great evening! 😀 Glad you enjoyed reading about Alexi and Gracie! Thank you for telling me. 😀@loaf,
I am sorry you are feeling so overworked! I hope the next thing your hubby volunteers you for is the spa! Your hands are full! I don’t have a large “human” family but I have a large “furry” family and it is a lot of work with just keeping the house clean on a daily basis, feeding, scooping litter boxes and cleaning them! And lots of vet visits (Jess and Harper had surgery yesterday to get fixed; just Jonnie is left now and she has gone back into heat). They give me lots of love in return though. I hope you get a spa day soon, or at least a pedi/mani or a day at the movies with friends.
How is your daughter’s ankle? Is this the daughter with the big Maincoon? Aren’t those cats great? So beautiful, big and fluffy, playful, cuddly, loyal, protective and smart! 😀 Sounds like your 9 yr old granddaughter is quite the fashionista with her Barbies and the request for the plaid blouse!
Hey, where is the Rock and Roll capital?I might be the only one that doesn’t know that but I don’t. Hope you have a great evening! 😀@bichon18,
Glad to hear you are enjoying your little Ari and that he is settling in well. There is nothing like a fur baby! 😀 It is good you are reading up on Atkins. All that white sugar, white flour, etc., is bad for you. Be sure to check with your Dr before starting any plan. Atkins can be hard on one’s system, especially the kidneys. It’s also important to have fats but you have to have the right amount, not too much, not too little. Avocados are a good example of a healthy fat, peanut butter too. There is so much to learn about nutrition. I am trying to lose a little too.
I remember Eydie! We were both born on the same day – different years though. My mom used to enjoy her singing with her husband. Have a great evening. 😀@mightymouse,
If you have time to read this, I just want to say I hope you have a wonderful vacation wherever you are going! Stay safe! 😀@taci,
How are you? Are you ready for the holidays? Anymore road trips planned? My son is thinking of moving to Texas now and my daughter is planning on moving to Oregon after she graduates so our plans are not definite. We may stay here and visit them often or we may even buy a home in each place! My grandson was crying the other night because he doesn’t want to move away from us! Broke my heart. I just love that kid to pieces! Still too early to plan anything. Have a great evening! 😀Shout out to velvet and bassetbabe! Hope all is well! 😀
