Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

I sure will be that is a family tradition. I make them really good. My husband is peeling
potatoes now. ♥ Hey safe driving and enjoy your friend. I did post the boys but they may
be on the second page now. 🙂 Sinus problems are just plain annoying. This is you and Jerry
should you ever go back to Jersey. 🙂 -
Hi Sheba;
I think your sinuses transferred to my sinuses and throat in the form of a crackly cough. Got my non-drowsy Robittusin. This afternoon Jerry and Avi will stay home while I go a little further south of here to see a friend’s son and his family. I should be home by 6:30 or so, then I change and relax at home with my guys. Tomorrow, is gift wrapping and nursing my throat.
I asked my friend who is a retired RN if I should come. She said of course and that the kids have sniffles. So an hour or two and home.
The moon is amazing. Will it be so tonight? It is likes Cosmo’s moon in Moonstruck!
Are you mak8ng your Sweet Potato Pie?

Evaluating Media
Balance must be created when taking in news media, not allowing ourselves to BECOME the bad news.
There is a lot of information available to us at this time in history, more than ever before, and it travels fast. We are able to learn in the blink of an eye about something that happened halfway around the world, and it’s natural for us to want to know what’s going on. However, it’s also fair to say that we don’t want to become so caught up in one way of looking at events that we lose perspective. Often, the news comes to us in a very fear-oriented format, and when too many of us get caught up in fear, the balance of the whole is disrupted. It helps to remember that we have a much greater and more positive impact on the world when we maintain our inner sense of peace and joy.
We are aware enough to know when we are eating something that is not good for us, because we don’t feel well after we’ve eaten it. In the same way, we can determine for ourselves whether the sources in which our information comes are ultimately healthful. News can be presented in a way that inspires us to take positive action to help the world, or it can be presented in a way that leaves us feeling powerless and sad. It is up to us to seek out and support media that empowers and informs us, and to say no to media that drains our energy and our hope.
For a time, it may even be of benefit to commit to a media fast, in which we stop taking information in for a time to give ourselves a rest. When we return to the task of taking in and processing the information all around us, we will come to it with a fresh mind. This will enable us to really notice how we are affected by what we hear and see, and to make conscious choices about the sources of information that we allow into our lives.
AMEN!

Good Morning I am so glad you are having a great time with your son and family.
I am dealing with the sinus issue. Yes I love playing Frankie. ♥ This is the music
my parents and grandparents played and I taken at an early age with his style.
Even then I knew style. 🙂 I am going to bake some pies today for the family.
I am not hungry drinking some OJ and water. Enjoy watching all the beautiful lights.
We went last night and will go again to a different area let me tell in this City they
do Christmas Lights. ♥ Eat, drink and be merry. ♥ Merry Christmas to you and your
family. 🙂 -
Cherie,
I am very sad as I like many of the vendors. I hope Heidi Daus and Andrew Lessman stay
put. I can still get the goods but I prefer it here on HSN. I think there no joy in people losing
their jobs. I personally I like Joy. ♥ What about Iman? Curtis Stone? Many more come under
Joy. So many questions. I am just staying warm and playing some Frank Sinatra once I hear
his voice I can’t help it. My dad and I had a very interesting day. I will remember this forever.
We played lots of Frankie. I was lucky to see Frank live before he retired he came to our City.
Thank god! The only other singer like that is Michael Buble and I hope he comes back to
HSN. ♥ God bless his family with all they have been through.Cherie relax enjoy your Movie day and enjoy your family. It’s Christmas Movies for me and my
family. ♥ I am keeping the TV off certain channels because it is nothing but BS! Yeah I said it.
Happy Holidays. 🙂 I am keeping it real. 🙂 -
Good Morning Sheba and Ladies! Hope you are all doing well!
@Sheba,
Sounds like you had a great time visiting with your dad, listening to Frank Sinatra all day! I love Sinatra too! We named my daughter’s cat Sinatra because of her eyes! We had paint matched to her eyes and painted her room with it. Darling, sweet Sinatra passed away this summer. I think of her often and especially when I go in my daughter’s old room (now the guest room). I love listening to Sinatra songs. Thanks for the gallery!
Hope your sinus clears up in time for a wonderful Christmas! I am sure all your hard work has paid off and your home and all the presents under the tree look spectacular!
My son arrived yesterday and last night we went to our fave Italian restaurant , including daughter and grandson. We had so much fun and definitely too many carbs! Tonight we are driving down Christmas Tree Lane, at least that is the plan! I still have to finish Christmas shopping and wrapping. Relax and enjoy these last days before Christmas Sheba! So glad to hear your son is home and I hope you make beautiful memories with him! 😀@Cherie,
I hope you and yours have a great time at the Mary Poppins movie! Glad to hear your kids enjoyed Sheba’s post of the Velveteen Rabbit!
Jonnie did the cutest thing yesterday but I will tell you about it later. She is so adorable. My son witnessed it last night. It is one thing to see it in pictures I send him, but quite another to see it in person! The older kittens hid from my son yesterday but “baby Bull” had no fear! He is so fearless and doesn’t realize he is a kitten still!
I hope you enjoy the season and THE REASON too! 😀@loaf,
I am excited for you to have a new addition to the family! I am sure Bella is a sweetie and a beauty! I hope your family is over the flu and returns to health before Christmas! You stay healthy! Have a wonderful Christmas! 😀@ TACI,
Stay safe on your walks and keep clear of coyotes and other wild creatures! I love nature and animals too but certain animals you want to respect and admire from a healthy distance! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your son! 😀@bichon18,
I know you celebrate Hanukah but I am sure Santa will slip down your chimney with a little something for little Ari. I am sure he is on the “nice” list! Hope you enjoy the holidays with your new fur baby! 😀@Deek,
So nice to see you posting here! I hope you have a very merry Christmas and that the postman didn’t deliver any more of your packages to your sister! LOL! (Cherie is laughing now too, I know). Merry Christmas!@velvet,
I bought the book and movie of Velveteen Rabbit for my grandson for Christmas. I hope you are feeling well and have a wonderful Christmas! 😀@mightymouse,
I hope you got all your work projects done and now you are setting out to enjoy your well deserved 3 week vacation to parts unknown! Hope to hear all about it when you get back! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and safe travels to you! Stay healthy! 😀Well ladies, if you don’t hear from me for a couple of days, I hope you all have the merriest of Christmases! Thank you sweet Sheba for all the work you do on this post and for always caring about each and everyone of us and keeping this a safe and positive place in this world! God bless you!
God Bless Everyone! Merry Christmas! 😀
