I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

@Sheba,
Good Morning and Merry Christmas to you as well! I hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing day with Hubby and son! 😀
Too late, I have already been crying. I already miss him. His flight leaves at 11:45 so I will do what I always do and go outside to watch and listen for his plane. Sometimes I can see a glint of light from the reflection, sometimes I see the contrails, but I always know when he is flying over and I wave to him. I only recently told him I do this. This time he will be waving back. I miss him so much and yes, I am very proud of him.
I plan on resting today until daughter comes over later. We will have left-over Christmas Eve dinner and either put on a fire or watch a movie. She brought over gingerbread last night and we all built a house and decorated it. Good times and lots of laughter! 😀 Had such a good time with everyone opening presents last night and grandson was so adorable, he loved all his gifts and made everyone laugh! He did a painting (acylics) for hubby and I and also for my son on canvas. Looks like something professional and abstract. It is going in a place of honor. I can’t wait to get my studio set up and look forward to doing a painting with him. I can’t wait to get back into painting again and having a place to work on my photography.
We have had rain and fog here but sun is trying to come out. Is it snowing there? Hubby picked some oranges off tree this morning to send with son. He felt like he was coming down with something. Hope you are getting better each day Sheba. My heart goes out to you today on this anniversary of your loved one. Hugs coming your way.@bichon18,
I am sorry you are feeling under the weather! Stay under covers and get better! Hope you have some chicken soup handy. Cuddle up with your boys! 😀@Cherie,
Enjoyed hearing about your popcorn and all the fun making a mess! Get your rest with hubby today and give your mom a hug for me for being such a good mom and watching the kids for you. No wonder you are such a good mom – you have learned from yours! 😀@loaf,
Glad to hear the family is on the mend. Get your rest and have a merry Christmas! Enjoy this day with your family! Wow! Tooth fairy prices have certainly gone up! Lol! Funny kid! 😀@taci,

Look at the gorgeous Fur Baby. Santa Paws was here early this morning delivering toys to the doggies on the block. He then came in, took an antibiotic and climbed back into bed.
Merry Christmas my beautiful friend. Did any lions come roaring out of your gift boxes?

Gift of Winter
There is a quiet humility about the earth in the winter months, as animals and people retreat inside to do their deep work.
In fall, the earth begins the process of releasing all the things she has been holding onto throughout spring and summer, and by midwinter she has let everything go. She sits clean and undecorated in her simplicity, free of the frenzy of life that defines her in the warmer seasons. There is a quiet humility about the earth in the winter months, as animals and people retreat inside to escape the wet and sometimes freezing cold that takes hold. Inside our homes we create abundance and warmth in response to being effectively kicked indoors by the dark and cold that permeate the outdoors.
We burn fires in fireplaces and make heavy, hot foods to keep our bodies warm and insulated. We may find ourselves sleeping longer hours and yearning for downtime, just like the animals deep inside their caves and warrens taking a winter-long nap. Even if we live in a warmer climate, the longer nights and shorter days have the same effect on our cycles. If we surrender to this time as nature intended, we allow ourselves to slow down, sleep more, and lower the volumes on our busy minds. At the same time, we crave company in our dwellings, and the insulated warmth of the hearth tends to bring people together, creating more warmth and fostering connections that last through the coming year.
We laugh, eat, and talk, sleep, or catch up on reading, while outside our windows the earth grows dark earlier and stays cold longer, accepting as always of the process of change and her place within it. We might remember to learn from her as she so gracefully surrenders to the emptiness that precedes all form, the peace that precedes activity, the darkness that precedes the light. For everything she gives and teaches, we might offer a blessing, extending a goodly portion of the gratitude of this season her way, holding her in our hearts and thanking her for our very lives.
