Conversation – 15
Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

I have the Telly off for now. Enough of the crazy news. No news is good news.
Do you have a second TV in the house? I have like 5 that way the family can
watch what they want. I have been watching TCM and it is Film Noir today.I also watched the shape of water a really good movie. I want to hear what Cherie thought
of Mary Poppins too. I am was just to poop to pop as Cherie put it.
So it is on the list for this weekend which will be more relaxing. 🙂 -

This is for your entire family to toast. This is sparkling grape juice. I cannot have alcohol
due to the meds I take. I always toast with this and it is delish. ♥ Loaf your grandson can

This is my 5th year on this thread of doing this song. I am about to go into year 5 of the
Conversation Threads and every year I have done this song and I will do it again before
the year is out. I have lost so many people this year. I never want to forget them. Happy
New Year everyone I can sing this from memory. ♥Sung by Sheba – Auld Lang Syne
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne. For auld lang syne, my jo,
For auld lang syne.
We’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
And surely ye’ll be your pint-stowp!
And surely I’ll be mine!
And we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.We twa hae run about the braes
And pu’d the gowans fine
But we’ve wander’d mony a weary foot
Sin auld lang syne.We twa hae paidl’d i’ the burn
Frae mornin’ sun till dine.
But seas between us braid hae roar’d
Sin auld lang syne. And there’s a hand, my trusty fiere!
And gie’s a hand o’ thine!
And we’ll tak a right guid willy waught,
For auld lang syne.Should old acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind?
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
And long, long ago.And for long, long ago, my dear
For long, long ago.
We’ll take a cup of kindness yet
For long, long ago.
And surely youll buy your pint-jug!
And surely I’ll buy mine!
And we’ll take a cup of kindness yet
For long, long ago.We two have run about the hills
And pulled the daisies fine;
But we’ve wandered manys the weary foot
Since long, long ago.We two have paddled in the stream,
From morning sun till dine;
But seas between us broad have roared
Since long, long ago.And there’s a hand, my trusty friend!
And give us a hand of yours!
And we’ll take a deep draught of good-will
For long, long ago.You see it every New Year’s Eve when the clock strikes midnight: people faking their way through “Auld Lang Syne.”
We don’t blame them; no one really knows the words to the song — even though we sing it all over the world when we ring in the New Year.
The British supermarket chain Sainsbury’s conducted a study this year and found just 3% in the United Kingdom know the words (42% of millennials have no clue, it said).
“Auld Lang Syne,” which means “times gone by,” is a Scottish tune written by poet Robert Burns in 1788. But Scots didn’t fare much better. Only 7% know all the lyrics, Sainbury’s said.
Admittedly, it’s a hard song. At least get the first verse and chorus right, and belt it loud and proud!

I so wish you were able to call in that would have been great. I am glad you noticed
the mosaic art. I am glad your daughter is doing better too. I have my house the
way I want it so I am content. New Year’s Eve and Day is not far so I will do things
in relations to that. I know Cherie can’t wait and neither can I. I have lost so many people
in a 12 month period then anytime in my life. I need something new for me. I think we
all do. 🙂 Still Love’s been good to me. ♥ I miss Loaf these past couple but I know Loaf she
will post when she can I just hope all is well with everyone coming down with the cold.I hope you are enjoying your evening. 🙂
