Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

Bye bye annoying cold. You are out of here. 🙂
-
I embrace your Grace, O Mother Night, of midnight skies and wild winds, of moonlit meadows alive with your kiss. ♥

I am so glad Jonnie is doing well. Give her another day or two. I would be happy if my
cat had made it. ♥I had one cat who had a very delicate surgery and they removed a part of him. Now
don’t freak out he did great and lived many healthy years. I have to say Lotus was
the toughest cat in the neighborhood he has been known to chase huge dogs. 🙂
I love that cat. I have a thing against cages because my baby died in one. I am still
not over it. I never will be. I still want another cat guess I will get a birdcage to bring
it home or it sits in my lap.
Now spoil Jonnie to your heart delights. ♥ Cats are for loving. ♥ -
@hsn,
Thank you I did receive the Andrew Lessman Marine Collagen Peptides today. 🙂
I am feeling better already. ♥ -
@Sheba,
I’d say top of the morning but it’s afternoon now. Good news on Jonnie, she came out earlier and ate both wet food and grain and had lots of water. She then used her litterbox and went back for more food and water. Unfortunately she went back into hiding but it’s a good sign that she is eating and I hope every day she gets stronger and comes out to join me. I was hoping she would be like Alexi after she got fixed and just fall into my lap and not leave! Alexi was feral when we got her too and finally trusted me after she got fixed. While she was healing she just wanted to be held 24/7. Once she was feeling better then she was harder to hold but my son decided he was going to smother her with love and practically laid down on top of her and didn’t let up with loving her! Lol! She eventually became super affectionate and she was everybody’s baby. She had a very special bond with our son. We both held her when she passed. So hard…
I am looking forward to hearing if you like your air fryer. I have some of Chef Ming’s pans – a small and large wok and love them! I like his cooking – plain and simple, healthy. His cook book looks good.
Stay warm this weekend. Did you get snow? We’ve had rain, fog this morning, more rain later. 😀@Cherie,
Avoiding gluten has made a huge difference and just eating fresh foods. I hardly have anything in my cupboards anymore which helps since my kitchen lacks storage. Good for you to make these decisions for your family’s health! I wish I had sooner but I was always on the go with them so I did marathon cooking on weekends and whatever was convenient cooking otherwise. Your kids are getting a good start with fresh foods! 😀
Yes, stitches are dissolving kind but I need to check for bleeding or redness, swelling. I can’t as long as she is hiding. Turning the mattress over would just be more traumatic for her. Her eating and drinking is a good sign.
Did you check out the song Nobody Like You by Paul Wilbur so you could see the video with it? It is so awesome! @Sheba, you might like it too since you like science channel and all things space and planets.
I hope you have a great time this weekend at Big Bear! I was thinking it was Friday today but it’s Thursday! It will be the weekend soon enough though! Have tons of fun! Thanks for the prayers for Jonnie! 😀 Oh! Squeals of delight! Jonnie is out and eating right now! 😀 😀 😀@bichon18,
First, thanks for the sweet words about Jonnie and about me. I really appreciate it! 😀 How did Ari’s training go? I bet the little man did well! 😀
I liked hearing about how your sister would take something from your closet! That is a sweet memory to have. I bought Diane’s TS too! Same colors as well. No, I haven’t bought anything from Heidi yet but have lots in my faves that I’m wishing for. I am waiting for presentations and of course if something I love is on sale or limited it might move it up on my list. What Lion necklace did you buy? The Roaring Lion or another one? I got House of Daus necklace a while back – big amethyst swarovski crystal surrounded by other stones and Lions. I LOVE it!
When do you leave for your vacation? Sounds exciting to go to Belgium! I’ve never been. My parents several times, brother too.@SouthernLights,
Glad to hear your son is getting better and on the mend. Cute doggie! 😀 Of course the big bed is better! Lol! Give him some hugs for me, please. 😀
Thank you for the suggestion of the improvements catalog. I will have to look. My wall armoire has tons of hooks and I’ve no idea how to work around that to line it. I will have to use it for gold and costume for now.@loaf,
John Candy in Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Lol! Great movie, watched last month. You must enjoy your grandson! 😀 Sound very entertaining!
That’s cool about you knowing Paul Warfield! Cool about him being in the Hall of Fame! My cousin’s hubby won the super bowl with his team in 95 but he is not in the Hall of Fame. He did win some awards though and had a great career playing with his team for 7 years. Afterwards he went into sportscasting, being the pre-game and post-game analyst for his team. Just this last year he started broadcasting for the biggest sports network ( trying not to say names here since family). He does lots of community outreach work on his own and with his team, helps kids a lot. Oh yes, I remember Refrigerator Perry! And Mike Ditka as coach. His playing days were way before me. I started following the Bears when I was about 9 years old.Oh, @Cherie, I’m really not a sports enthusiast either. I don’t like sports. Just football! 😀 Lol! I like watching ice skating, swimming/diving and gymnastics in the Olympics, that’s it. Otherwise, sports are boring. Football is not a sport though, It is LIFE! LOL! I will be suffering withdrawals soon and looking forward to next season…
@taci, @velvet, @mightymouse, Hope you are doing well and healthy. Thanks for the prayers everyone for Jonnie! Keep them coming, please. I hope she comes out of hiding soon. Hope everyone is having a great day! 😀 Hugs!

Moving Our Body
Human bodies love flow and movement and respond in kind when used in this way.
Our bodies love movement. When we stretch or dance, our bodies adjust, realign and start to become fluid with the rhythm of life. Our mood lifts and we feel more connected with the world around us. If you are feeling stuck, ready to release old energy, or eager to feel more alive, try moving your body. By giving your muscles a chance to do what they were created for, you may find that all areas of your body and your life benefit as well.
Many times we can be so busy that we forget moving our body is even an option. Some of us remain seated at our computer for hours every day or rush from task to task with robotic precision. When we are caught up in crossing items off our to-do lists, we tend to neglect all the opportunities there are to enjoy our bodies in the process of living. If this is true for you, begin looking for opportunities to move. You might try dancing or moving about freely as you clean your home, tend your garden or care for your children. If you are able to devote a set amount of time to self-care, practices such as yoga, dance, tai chi and walking are all great ways to keep your body in motion.
Imagine how freeing it would feel to trust your body’s movements completely, knowing it has a perfect strength and rhythm of its own. See if you can sense your bones providing graceful support, your muscles and tendons expanding and contracting in just the right measure, your lungs changing pace to fill deeply with fresh air. Movement is a vital celebration of life. It is a way to proclaim your own existence and relish in the joy of being alive. Today, and into the future, give yourself the gift of your body in motion. ♥
