@Sheba, I saw that! LOL! Do you know the actual amounts? I would have no idea how to improvise something I’ve never tasted. I can only be intuitive with something I’ve eaten or at least smelled and seen before. The Italian version contains cod and the spices are different, no toasty thingies. Lol! Btw, I got the TS in black! Can’t wait to get it! 😀

Ari has his training today. I am wearing comfortable shoes for the event. Actually, I am breaking them in for the trip which is causing anxiety in this house. Ari does not like to be alone. My nephew will be staying here but he teaches school during the day. The school is a a mile from our house. The problem will be during the week and there are ten days of that. Weekend okay. I don’t want to send Ari to a babysitter for the two weeks because he has been through so much. So, I have to figure out the days.

We have 2 and a half months. I sent Jerry yesterday’s Heidi necklace. The one you have in lemon I believe. It is Black with blue stones. Perfect! We have two nights in Amsterdam, seven nights on the riverboat/ship and two night in Brussels. I know I will get usage.

Jerry’s back you ask. Thank you. He seems better. A man just arrived with a car for him to test drive. My teeth are gritting. The lease on his current car has four or five months left on it. My teeth are gritting. It is a different make. The model of this car can be leased. He was looking to buy the same model car as our friend. That model cannot be leased. He was going to finance it but it lacked certain pizazz. I knew he would get sick of it. The one he is testing has more pizazz. My teeth are gritting.

So, just like you….this thread gives me energy and an outlet to speak with wonderful people around our great nation. Otherwise, my teeth would be gritting.

BTW, The consignment shop across the way got a few Heidis. I am waiting to see how she prices them. One is a coral necklace. I have two. The other is a berry purple one from the photo and looks interesting. There might be a purse and a pair of earrings but I am not sure. Let’s see how she prices them. If they are not bargains; I will pass. Jerry is test driving a car…..remember the gritting teeth.

Jonnie actually came up on the bed and took a little nap last night! I was so happy and I got a chance to check her incision, which I am happy to say looks good! She heard hubby walking down the hallway and skidaddled back under the bed to hide in the box springs again. She is still there now. She is eating and drinking and using her litter box so she is coming around slowly. It will take some time but I’m so happy she came up on the bed for awhile. 😀
I am soooo hungry! I have been on the internet looking at Roberto Faraone Mennella’s jewelry. Salivating. Then I went to 1st Dibs. Oh, some lovely jewelry. Sigh… Now I need to go make a scrambled egg and some strawberries for breakfast and then walk. I am running very late today but 18k and jewels does that to me. Lol! Emeralds, coral, turquoise, lapis, rubies… oh my! 😀

Do you have a recipe? Looks similar to an Italian meal my MIL used to make for FIL. It was one of his faves.

Shakshuka is a staple of the Israeli breakfast menu. The dish is a mix of crushed tomatoes cooked down to a thick sauce and dotted with eggs which are then allowed to simmer in the mix, and usually includes some fried onions, garlic, tons of paprika, and a dash of hot peppers or cumin for extra flavor. ♥

Waking Up

We are multidimensional beings and our earthly aspects are a very small part of who we are.

Many of us are familiar with the experience of waking up to the fact that our lives are no longer working the way we have set them up. Sometimes this is due to a shift occurring inside ourselves over time, and sometimes it is part of the larger shift that is currently affecting all humanity. Change is happening at such an increased rate that it is difficult to predict what the future holds. As a result, many of the old ways of planning out a life are no longer applicable, and if we cling to them we feel strangely out of tune with reality. If we are in tune with the energies around us, we will begin to question ideas that just a few years ago seemed sensible.

In the simplest terms, the shift we are undergoing right now has to do with recognizing ourselves as being more than human, remembering that our earthly aspects are a very small part of who we are. In truth, we are multidimensional beings. When we begin to realize this, the life we planned for a limited conception of ourselves no longer fits. We must meet the needs and qualifications not only of our bodies but also of our souls. This realization dawns slowly for some and with the suddenness of a bolt of lightning for others, and we all must find the way that works for us to integrate this new and larger sense of self into our life plan.

Sometimes a drastic change feels totally right, and overnight we might decide to sell our home and move to another country or quit our job and begin a second career. Other times, we allow the changes to proceed slowly, beginning perhaps with allowing ourselves to dream of a new life or just to ask the deeper questions that encourage us to discover our true purpose in life. Either way, know that this process is a natural sign of the growth we are all going through, and trust it to guide you to the life of your dreams.
