Hello Cherie,
Thank you for thinking of me and yes I was FROZEN toes only. I have never shovel this
much snow and it took out about 900,000 people homes and we still have about 400,000
without power. That sucks and I hope they went to someone’s home or got shelter too
cold to sit in a frozen house. This has been surreal. I was able to listen to my music on
my iphone but no data, no internet, no cable. Wow I wonder what life would be like
with all of these things. I wonder…I had a great dream i was at a New Kids On The Block Concert and I have had front row
seats at two in the past. The moon is doing it’s thing already. 🙂 I am glad your family had
a great time in Big Bear. I don’t think the kids would like it here except both States have
no school today. I am warming up now. -
Sheba is home!!
Glad to see you came through. I look up the weather in Oz. Oh my…please keep your footsies warm. Relax if you can. Do you have the heated driveways I hear about? Would that 3ven work without power?
Just unwind.

Hi Sheba!
So glad to hear from you and that you are ok! Glad you have your power back and you can stay warm! Please be careful shoveling that snow! Stay warm and safe! I’m eatting ready for Dr appointment but wanted to check in to see if you had power and were able to log on yet. I will be back later today. Gotta go but relieved to hear you are ok! 😀 Yay! Go Sheba! 😀 -
Yes that was my region playing on Saturday. Trust our region was full blown snow.
I am in Kansas but that team is my TEAM! I did not want to talk about it to maybe mess
things up I just wanted the best team to win. Kansas has no Major League anything.
This City is across the State line but we are sometimes considered as the Metro Area.Wish us luck next week LOL! I am not a big sports fan I love Baseball. ♥ Thank you for wishing
me warm wishes as I was almost ready to check into a hotel. The fireplaces helped. I am still
considering going to maybe AZ but my heart is on Colorado which is so cold. Mom and the
rest of the family is there. ♥ I could not see any posting during the blackout. I have a lot
to read. I hope Jonny is alright and back to normal. Will write later as I am still having
problems with internet. -

@southerlights55,
I am glad your son is doing better. So glad he likes looking at the moon. ♥ How are you
doing? Chicken soup or whatever you can get down will work. I was shoveling snow
this weekend. My toes were frozen and we had no power or anything. It was not so bad.Enjoy and stay warm. 🙂

No worries are i was warm with both fireplaces and my hat and coat. ♥Hello Peeps! I have read anything power and cable/internet came on about an
hour ago. Still there are about 93,000 people without power of any kind.This was one heck of a storm I survived it. LOL!

Good Morning Sheba and Ladies!
@Sheba,
I hope you are doing ok and managing to stay warm! Power outages in those temps are MISERABLE! I am glad you have fireplaces at least! One reason we moved back to Cali was because of the power outages when the weather was frozen over with snow and ice in Washington. It was miserable! House we lived in had no fireplace and heat was electric, as everything was (no gas lines in our remote area). No way to cook, stay warm, make hot tea or anything! No hot water. Lasted for DAYS! Seemed an eternity. After a few days, the town got power back so we went into town and stayed at a hotel for a couple of days. What a treat to thaw out, take a hot shower and eat something warm! We went through it twice, weeks apart. I sure hope you have a gas stove so you can at least boil water, make soup, put on a kettle for tea. I know you have fireplaces so that helps. 😀 I hope this power outage is over soon. Is it just in your neighborhood? Is your dad doing alright? It didn’t look that bad during the Colts/Chiefs game on Saturday but they probably had a machine to remove the snow from the field because all the fans were getting snowed on and under plastic ponchos. There was snow piled up at the field sidelines. That is dedication! I sure hope you get power back and it warms up very soon. Please stay warm and safe! I’d send some sunshine to you but we are having rain! The nearby mountains have snow (more expected today and next 4 days) and they are so pretty to look at. It’s good for all the wild life up there. 😀 I will squeeze you some fresh oj though! 😀@Cherie,
So happy you had a great time at Big Bear and now you have thawed out! Sounds like so much fun to get away. Jonnie is feeling better and has slept on the bed at night but then hides during the day still. She is getting better though. I have left my closet open for her because she loves to “play” in there and snuggle up for a nap. She is good with my clothes so I don’t worry she will snag them. It’s good to see her out of hiding and her appetite returning. She was cuddling with her “baby” at night too. 😀 Are you having rain? We are having it for the next 4 days. I’m hoping no more mudslides for the fire victims. Aww, Cherie, you are still taller than me; I’ 5’5″. I would love to be even an inch taller!@bichon18,
I did not know Bill Gates lived near you. I thought he still lived in Seattle. But I guess he can afford more then one house, right? Lol. I hear ya, my whole house is probaby the size of his closet! Oh well, such is life, right? I hope you are feeling much better and that Ari enjoyed his training. Cherie is right, I have a very special place for horses too. How is your packing coming? Did you get your DG TS yet? I got mine on Saturday, they run small. I didn’t even try them on, just held them up and could tell. When I get the courage I will try them on and decide if I hold on to them for weight loss or return. I’ve had this pant in the past and it has lasted forever. I wear them to death. This version has a smaller waistband. I think the ones I have are called “comfort waist”, this waist is narrower.@loaf,
I see snow is expected for you as well so stay warm and safe too! I hope you don’t lose power like Sheba! Seems this snow and ice is everywhere and causing lots of problems! Stay home and safe! Keep Bella warm!
I have that sequin scarf by Iman in gold, emerald and this year I got red! Last year she offered sequined berets in the same colors so I got them in gold and green. Super cute! Matching gloves too with sequin trim at wrist. The scarves were offered was a set with a plain scarf in same color.@taci,
I have the wall jewlery cabinet but I have the super sized one. Still not big enough for everything. I have jewelry everywhere.
I hope your son is feeling better very soon! Southernlights’ son is sick too! I can’t believe how many people are getting sick! We went to see Mary Poppins yesterday with daughter and grandson so I’m hoping none of us picked up anything from someone. Movie was enjoyable. Have you seen it?@Southernlights, I hope your son is feeling better every day. I enjoyed hearing how he likes to look at the moon. My son used to like lying in his bed at night and look at the moon. He has always loved space.
@velvet, @mightymouse, Hope you are healthy and doing well! 😀
Have a good day everyone! Hugs! 😀 Stay warm and safe! 😀

Hi Cheri;
My mind is filled with thoughts of Sheba in the cold. I look up the weather in Oz. Brrrrrr! Brrrr mixed with power outages…..not good and Sheba having that monster thing that is going around for so long. That is gloves and coats and scarves in the house weather.
Sheba; we are all thinking of you and hoping you are warm and toasty in your dressing room with a Poppy in your lap and a hot beverage near by.
Auntie Aim.

Good morning!
Sheba, I thought of you last night. I went in to kiss my son goodnight and he had the shade open in his room. I offered to close the blind but he told me no, he loves looking at the moon. I sat on his bed and looked out. He is right, perfect view of the moon. -
Hi Ya @bichon18 …. A musical …. That is really cool! Cherie Loves musicals too. I have mentioned before when my “oldest” was 3 a few years back we had front row seats to see CATS. One of the CATS came out to greet the audience and she chose my daughter to dance with in the isle! I wish I could have recorded it, she was so giggly and knew she was the center of the stage for that moment. Love Gloria’s … ANYTHING FOR YOU ( Wish Sheba was here to “Play it”). Cherie & Hubby are not too shabby at the RUMBA. Love Marla’s line … BUT the “Popover” top is not for Cherie, it’s too loose fitting. Unfortunately I’m not too tall (5′ 6″) soo the sleeves catch on everything … like door knobs and kitchen chairs … UGH! The Wellington … Hmm, Cherie LOVES horses, someday I plan to get back to riding with the kids. Sheba & Kitten have special places in their hearts for Horses too.
-
Well Sheba …. It’s Cherie, so you kinda know what time it is …. LOL. Cherie & family thawed out really quick running around getting everything ready for Monday. Le Chef will be making Spicy Chicken Wings, Veggies, and of course Fries! It’s been a while and Cherie is trying not to worry. Just a little note letting you know I’m Missing your Words, Thoughts, Gallery, and your “Good-Nights”. Prayers and Cherie is Waving every night Sheba♥ Dear …. Take care ALL!
