Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

It is cooler in South Florida today but I won’t complain. It is delightful. Wore my red Marla Drama Kimono in red over black. Oh, so good. I keep reading about the weather in Oz for the weekend. If your power goes out my hope is you will be wrapped up in front of the fire next to Poppy. I understand your love of Sheba. To all the dogs i’ve loved before…
Got my SFA Off Fifth goodies. I have to say the sparkle is off the charts. The lion is a show stopper. It may surprise me and become a favorite. Here’s the thing…..I now have to buy Heidi like a normal person. When this is a TSV or something I am drooling over. I also need to organize it. I am going to turn my jewelry armoire into a Heidi Armoire.
Right now we are watching the news. I am trying not to listen. Not possible. So, I will turn to Words With Friends and lose myself. How do I get into the HSN games. I will try it now.
Have you used your Air Fryer.

Love these and they don’t crease.

I just posted below about a Beach Boy song. When you’re ready to start spinning some tunes, Sheba, how about some Beach Boys to warm things up?
-
The Beach Boys claim 🎵 and the northern girls with the way they kiss they keep their boyfriends warm at night 🎵
Seriously, I am in the Great Lakes Region.
Two months of antibiotics is a long time but this is a super bug going around. I am much better but joked with my sister’s and told them at this rate I’ll see them in the spring. Pet peeve of mine is when people go out and about spreading their germs. I give them the stink eye and back away. -
Oh my, oh my! Swoon!

“I Will Always Love You”
(originally by Dolly Parton)If I should stay
I would only be in your way
So I’ll go but I know
I’ll think of you every step of the wayAnd I… will always love you, ooh
Will always love you
You
My darling, you…
Mmm-mmBittersweet memories –
That is all I’m taking with me.
So good-bye.
Please don’t cry:
We both know I’m not what you, you needAnd I… will always love you
I… will always love you
You, ooh[Instrumental / Sax solo]
I hope life treats you kind
And I hope you have all you’ve dreamed of
And I wish you joy and happiness
But above all this I wish you loveAnd I… will always love you
I will always love you
I will always love you
I will always love youI will always love you
I, I will always love you.You.
Darling, I love you.
I’ll always…
I’ll always love you.

Daily Self-Care
Putting yourself first means that it may be necessary to say no to someone else, in order to say yes to yourself.
We have all heard the instructions of an airline attendant reminding us to put on our own oxygen mask before we help anyone else with theirs. This advice is often cited as a metaphor for self-care because it so accurately expresses why it is important. It seems to say, ironically, that if you can’t take care of yourself for yourself, do it for others. Few situations in our daily lives mimic the wake-up call of an airplane emergency, so it’s easy to keep putting self-care off–easy, that is, until we get sick, overwhelmed, or exhausted, and suddenly don’t have the energy to care for the people who count on us. That’s when we realize we haven’t been getting the oxygen we need to sustain ourselves. We begin to understand that taking care of ourselves is neither selfish nor indulgent; it’s just plain practical.
Putting yourself first means that it may be necessary to say no to someone else in order to say yes to yourself. For many of us, there is always something we feel we could be doing for someone else, and it helps to remember the oxygen metaphor. You can even encourage yourself by saying “I am caring for myself so that I am better able to care for others” or some other mantra that will encourage you. It also helps to remember that self-care doesn’t have to be composed of massively time-consuming acts. In fact, the best prescription for taking care of yourself is probably small, daily rituals; for example, taking one half-hour for yourself at the beginning and end of the day to meditate, journal, or just be. You might also transform the occasional daily shower or bath into a half-hour self-pampering session.
Whatever you decide, making some small gesture where you put yourself first every day will pay off in spades for you and the ones you love. The oxygen you need is all around you; sometimes you just need to be reminded to breathe. Amen!

Good Morning Cherie,
We may not have power this weekend as another storm is coming. Oh I am ready if it.
I did not know it was raining in S. Cali. Cherie I find some people cannot drive even when
the weather is perfect. The storm really caused some bad wreckage here. People still
do not have power over 4,000 are still without power at the height of the storm 900,000
people including me had no power.Anyway we made it through and come what may we will weather the storm. Hey stay dry
and warm. Hot Chocolate on the way. 🙂Cherie enjoy your day. ♥ Waving…
