Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

Words Are Energy
Each word we speak has a life of its own, a vibratory signature that creates waves into the expanse of the universe.
When we speak or write, we use the vehicles of words to carry meaning, as well as energy, from ourselves to another person or group of people. We may be speaking to our baby, our boss, or to an audience of 500 people. We may be writing a love letter, a work-related memo, or an entry in our own diary. Whatever the case, each word we speak or write has a life of its own, a vibratory signature that creates waves in the same way that a note of music creates waves. And like musical notes, our words live in communities of other words and change in relation to the words that surround them. When we are conscious of the energy behind our words, we become capable of making beautiful music in the world. If we are unconscious of the power of words, we run the risk of creating a noisy disturbance.
Some of us know this instinctively, while others come to this understanding slowly. Most of us, though, speak without thinking at least some of the time, blurting out our feelings and thoughts without much regard for the words we choose to express them. When we remind ourselves that our words have an impact on the world at the level of energy, we may find within ourselves the desire to be more aware of our use of language.
A fun way to increase our sensitivity to the power of words is to simply make a list of our favorite words and notice the energy they contain. We can write them down and post them where we can see them, or we can speak them aloud, feeling them reverberate in our bodies and in the air around us. This is like learning to consciously play an instrument that we have been playing unconsciously for most of our lives, and the effect can be startling and delightful. As we grow more comfortable and confident playing the instrument of language, we will begin to compose beautiful messages, creating positive energy every time we write or speak.

Would they not two of the most beautiful people in the world. Such talent! Such grace!
I loved my movie stars from other generations. Yes, the are humans but I don’t want to see them looking like they need to bathe and brush their teeth. The whole movie star being perfect fell apart for me in 1978 when I read Mommy Dearest.
Anyway, off to the bank followed by last trip to grocery and more dog toys for our belated holiday get together for the kids.
When that is done…my whole thinking is to throw out and arrange my bedroom closet before the trip which is over two months away. We applied for global entry but with the shutdown who knows? Anyway, the big military plane is at the airport surrounded by empty school buses.

I am so sorry I was about to turn off my computer and I saw your post.
Yes I did get the cookbook this afternoon Ming Air Fryer Cook Book and I am
going over it to learn different recipes. Loaf has one and she gave me a veal
meatball recipe. I will tell you more tomorrow.I watched An American In Paris with Gene Kelly and the beautiful Leslie Caron.
I will show my favorite scene from that movie.
I couldn’t post the whole American in Paris ballet scene. Ha,ha. But, this is my favorite dance sequence from the ballet. Gershwin’s music shines in this section. Listening to the trumpet solo gives me goosebumps every time. I love the passionate choreography in the dance. It’s breath taking.

This shutdown is awful. The effect of it goes beyond the 800,000 government workers. It effects those with government contracts among many. This is awful. My niece is worried about being furloughed. She is in private industry serving the government. We are news junkies. I admit that. Therefore, I need to back away after three hours of it plus anything I can read. Jerry listens to CNN in the car. I listen to Broadway.
On a Heidi note; I am seeing the difference between the Swarovski crystals and the glass. Of course, the difference in price is considerable. In the meantime I have to figure a way to easily display my choices. Maybe I should turn my dining room into a dressing room. 😆.
Did you get your cookbook?
-
After Jerry turned in; I watched Grey’s Anatomy. My brain needed a rest from the news. We also found a great show on Netflix. Can’t think of the name. I will send it to tomorrow. I hope you have power. Did you get your cookbook?
