Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

Hi Sheba;
A little cooler in South Florida but quite nice. Tomorrow is our postponed due to bronchitis holiday gathering. I will be getting ready all day. On Sunday my feet go up for a while. Hopefully, there will be a few leftovers and I will not have to think of dinner on Sunday.
How is Cool Hand Luke with the Air Fryer?

How to “grow” a business:
When we moved to Beekman Farm, over hill, over dale, and twenty miles from the nearest grocery store, the first lesson of our newly bucolic lives was that we would need to relinquish the overly-indulgent and instantly-gratified existence to which we had become accustomed. Unlike our prior address in NYC, there is no twenty-four hour diner, no corner deli, and certainly no food delivery in Sharon Springs, NY.
Initially this meant careful planning of menus to prevent an extra trek to the market for a forgotten ingredient. But as we became more familiar with the territory, we learned which Neighbor had fresh cow’s milk, where to go when the maple sap started running, and the closely guarded locations of the wild leek patches.
Over time, we grew to appreciate each season on the farm, both for what the season brought to the table, and, oddly, for what it did not. Absence does indeed make the heart grow fonder. The time between the first cherry blossoms and the arrival of their sour fruit, and the cold months between the last tomato and the first, now seems to reinforce that there are true cycles in life—an important fact somehow lost in a world in which everything is always available or imminently disposable.
In the past decade we’ve taken what we’ve learned from the farm and applied it to helping others cultivate better lives of their own. Working with our Neighbors (literally and figuratively), we built a world-famous store (Beekman 1802 Mercantile) in the middle of nowhere, revitalizing an impoverished village and giving economic opportunities to hundreds of artisans and craftspeople.
We’ve written a memoir, four cookbooks, a book on style, and launched an award-winning magazine, the Beekman 1802 Almanac.
And although NASDAQ called us “the fastest growing lifestyle brand in America”, these past 10 years have seemed slow. The growth has been—organic. We simply maximize each and every day of each and every season.
And one lesson that we tell all young entrepreneurs setting off to pursue their passions: never let your business grow bigger than your heart.

Cherie,
In all the time we have been writing I have never heard the word soggy in S. Cali.
Is everything alright there? I hope it is a good rain and not one that will cause
problems. I think S. Cali needed the rain. i am glad your trip to Big Bear was last
week. Well something is heading this way it starts today. Wish us luck on that one.
So your husband is Captain American as well as Le Chef. 🙂 Cherie I got the Ming
Air Fryer Cookbook yesterday and I am reading it this afternoon hope to try it out
this weekend. Hubby is still looking at it LOL! No worries he can use it if he wants to. ♥I love the Beekman Products and you picked a good one. I think they will be on this weekend
and I am looking forward to it. I still have some bars of soap left because I use my Perlier
Products with them. ♥ I love Micky Mouse. ♥
Let it rain and you and family stay dry and safe. 🙂
