@Sheba,
Wow! That was an intense game! Both games played today were intense and both went into OT! I am sorry the Chiefs are not going forward to the Super Bowl. They are a tough team. So are my Bears. Next year… I will be rooting for the Rams in the Super Bowl.
We can’t see the moon here as it is raining. It was coming down so hard that it sounded like a military jet flying overhead. Unreal. It’s very calm out now but still raining.
Enjoy the fashion show. I am recording it. Going to eat my dinner and get ready for bed. Have a good one! Enjoy the moon if you can see it! 😀 Cherie will be waving! 😀 -
The red scarf above and this scarf are so beautiful. I must have one. I made them favorites. If they ever go on sale….I will wait. I must wait. I must.

Oh, that looks delicious. Mmmmm
No, the generators are not cheap. And…..it seems when there is the greatest need; the prices seem to go up.
Isn’t your family in Colorado? We went to a family wedding a few years ago. It was in Boulder. I fell in love with the town. I will keep my fingers crossed for hubby’s transfer.
Watching the game. I hardly watch football. Waiting for our moon.
-
They are not cheap either. I plan on moving in a few years anyway. Hubby is going to
request a transfer. I want to be near my family. Alright Mango Amy.Enjoy this.
-
Yes, I love the Beekman Farmhouse. Congrats on your team winning. We are still playing.
May the best team win. I try not to watch it is too intense. My family who have lived here are all cheering them on. I am about to watch Style.
Very cold here and the Moon will be out tonight. I have to put on my fur coat and hat.
-
Hello good to see you I grew up in those parts. I know how cold the HAWK can be.
All my siblings were born there. Yes I am a Bears Fan.Try to stay warm. Here enjoy this.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — The celestial curtain will be rising soon on a lunar extravaganza.
Sunday night, the Earth will slide directly between the moon and the sun, creating a total lunar eclipse. There won’t be another until 2021.
It will also be the year’s first supermoon, when a full moon appears a little bigger and brighter thanks to its slightly closer position.
The entire eclipse will exceed three hours. Totality — when the moon’s completely bathed in Earth’s shadow — will last an hour. Expect the eclipsed, or blood moon, to turn red from sunlight scattering off Earth’s atmosphere.
Everyone everywhere can catch the supermoon, weather permitting. But the entire eclipse will be visible only in North and South America, and across the Atlantic to western and northern Europe. -
WOO HOO! Can you believe that? YAY! Go Rams! 😀 My parents would be sooo happy! They used to have season’s tickets until the Rams went to St. Louis. I am glad they are back in L.A. where they belong. I am so happy for the Rams! 😀
Things here… hmmm… Thanks for asking. Hubby is fine, I’m stressing over testing, Chewey is not doing well and has lost more weight. He was doing better but has had troubles lately and I am worried. He needs to go back in to see the vet. Maybe another Vitamin B shot will help. We need to get another prescription for him. When I get stressed I clean out closets and drawers and get rid of stuff. How was your closet purge? I’m sorry the Marla pop over didn’t work for you. Have you tried the chiffon version of the unstructured shirt? I have it in the ivory and I love it. Lots of material but it is flowy and drapes well. -
Hi Sheba;
We have a whole-house generator. We have never had it run for any great length of time but will have the upkeep forever or as long as we live in this house. We installed it for my poppa whose home was my mother. After she died; we became his home. We got this house based on his needs. My SIL and BIL has moved to our town to be near us. Poppa ended up being fine with living here. Our house is a little smaller but the model had two en-suite guest rooms right next to each other. One was Poppa’s and the other for an aid.
We ended up needing more than one sleep-in aid. The set up worked since I did not allow the aids to use his toilet. Not for any reason except that his toilet needed never to not work. I also, by the way, will not use a patients bathroom while visiting a patient or staying in the room of a loved one. No way.
Anyway, back to the generator. If you put one in; you will never have to use it. LOL. Believe me, if there is no electricity after a hurricane; there is nothing like making a cup of coffee in the morning and sharing with others. Next door neighbors can generally hook up to your house with one or two items. A portable AC and a fridge means everything in Florida. Or…..a TV or washing machine.
But…..first coffee.

Hi Kittengirl.
How is everyone in your house and that pertains to hubby and fur babies. I want you to know that I suspect at this moment; we are both doing the same thing. Yes, we are watching the rams and the saints. Oh dear…nail biting time.
He is about to kick….time out…..
After this, I am going to make Eggies for dinner while Jerry walks Ari
Omg……he kicked it and scored.
I am thinking of you. We all are concerned for each other’s health and well-being. It is nice to watch a game together.
Heidi on Friday. So far you hav3 the best guess….mmmmm
Back to overtime…..

Hi! Nice to meet you! So you live in Chicago area… Chicago is my fave US city. The Bears are MY TEAM! Are you rooting for anyone in the play-offs? I am rooting for Rams in the Rams/Saints game. I’m rooting for them even though I like the Saints too but the Rams were my parent’s team and they would be so happy to know they are in the play-offs. Enjoy the play-offs and stay warm in that weather!

Hey Sheba,and Friends…
Hope you all are doing fine with these nasty storms.
Out here in the south suburb of Chicago, we had 4inches of snow.
With all the hype I was expecting so much more.
Thank goodness that didn’t happen.Feeling grateful!
It’s just bitter cold now.
Stay warm and safe.
Wanted to do a little shopping, but nothing appeals to me…can you believe that?
Did get my Marine Peptides, stuff is amazing!
Enjoy your Sunday, going down to finish watching the playoffs.
Blessings to all! -
Good Morning Sheba and Ladies!
@Sheba,
I sure hope you are staying warm in this “Harper” winter storm! I hope you keep your power on and stay inside and toasty warm! My kitty Harper wants you to know he has nothing to do with that storm or its problems and says if you ever met him you would know that because of how cute and cuddly he is! 😀
Thanks so much for the kittens you posted for me! The cute little one waving hello looks like Baby Bull. He is getting so big now and has his daddy’s face! His daddy is Bart who supposedly belongs to the lady across the street even though he hangs out here and eats here. He is buds with Tammy-Tabitha and Alejandra and he loves our yard. He is asleep right now on one of the patio dining chairs. It’s in a secluded spot that is protected from rain. The sun has come out momentarily but more rain is coming this afternoon. If I were a cat, I’d love our yard too! 😀
Yes, saw Mary Poppins with daughter and grandson. Grandson loved it but ended up falling asleep at the end. It was a pretty long movie, especially for little kids.
Love the leopard shoes! I have all kinds of variations on leopard shoes. Love Goodbye Mr. Chips too (both versions)! Love that Beekman farmhouse! My grandparents had a big white farmhouse like that – porch swing, lots of rose covered arbors and big wide staircase. I loved that home!
We had the most beautiful sunrise this morning when walking! It was red and pink, just gorgeous! Is the blood moon tonight?
Wishing the Chiefs well and hoping they win! Remember our little orphaned kittens last summer? One of them was named Chief – all black except for white paws and on one of his paws he had a black toe. So precious. I loved those babies so much.
Hope you have a great day and stay warm!@Cherie,
A Wooly? How funny! I have never known their names, just always thought of them as cute fuzzy caterpillars! I googled the woolies to find the info on them and was surprised to find out that there are actually venomous fuzzy caterpillars! Guess we should be careful which ones we pick up, right? Thanks for the prayers and yes, the fur babies will definitely be comforting me. They are great at cuddling and comforting. 😀 Hope all is well with you and everyone is healthy. Stay warm in this rain!@bichon18,
Thank you so much for the kind words. It is comforting to know that I will be showered with Heidi, mango smoothies, walk-in-closets, both feline and canine fur babies and everything in between! 😀 I am sure Jonnie will make a wonderful home health care nurse too! Lol! Thanks for that! 😀
Jonnie is getting better every day but still hides a little. It is taking some time. Her incision looks great and healing well. Her appetite has definitely returned and she is back to drowning her mousies in her drinking water again. 😀
Hope Jerry and Ari are doing well and that you have been successful cleaning out your closets. I was busy cleaning jewelry and setting pieces aside to give away or sell. I seriously have too much but hate admitting that to myself because i LOVE jewelry. 😀@loaf,
I hope you are staying warm and you haven’t lost your power! I saw on the weather channel that a plane skidded off the runway in Chicago. How scary! Stay indoors and off the road!
I’m glad you like the Iman jacket you bought. I am still considering buying it. I bought a jacket last year from Iman which was a wool blend with sweater knit sleeves and I love it! I bought one of her leather jackets as a TS a few months ago and it fits well but I sized up in that one.
My parents had a view of Camelback from there home. Lovely home.@taci,
I’m sorry you caught the bug from your son but happy he is doing better. Thanks for the well wishes and rooting for me! Thank you also for the nice words about my son! 😀
I think the Hubei necklace and earrings I got are very pretty; not as much turquoise blue as I was expecting but many pretty shades nevertheless. The greens, browns and blues in it really pop when worn with brown or olive green, even soft aqua. I love that it is vintage/antique, makes it very special.@Southernlights,
I hope you stay warm in that awful storm also and I hope your son is doing better! That is really cool you home-schooled them, and yes, you should take credit for their turning out well! 😀 That is dedication for sure! 😀
I had a Camaro too! A ’68 Camaro, white with black racing stripes, blue interior, stick shift. My parents were the original owners but when I was old enough to drive it became my car to drive. I loved that car! All my girlfriends loved it too! LOL! 😀Well, I hope everyone is healthy and staying warm! Shout outs @velvet, @mightymouse! Have a great day! 😀
-
Enjoy a cup and stay nice and warm today. 🙂

Top of the morning out in Cali. Enjoy this day and yes I am still going to wear my mask
out today. 🙂 I also wear gloves. LOL! Hope you are able to get a hike/walk in today. 🙂
