Meanwhile, I ordered a Heidi called Alluring accent and the earrings. The necklace looks like denim. I could be incorrect. We shall see. Now I have to look at that gray jacket again. Mmmm

13 days is good, not too long but you will miss Ari. I went on an Alaskan cruise for a week and I missed my kitties terribly but Hubby stayed behind (work) so it was me and the kids. And 47 family members (family reunion). Had a great time, will never forget it. 😀 You will have a great time too! I’m excited for you! I will have to pay attention to the weather so I can imagine how your days are going over there when you are gone.
It is not tuition, it’s the vet bill. There are so many expenses right now, makes my head spin some days. Health is really all that matters but yes, a little treat every now and then is good. 😀 I get tired of the same old thing too and mostly wear the same old thing because I’m home with the kitties and they have cute little paws with claws that sometimes snag things. I’m mostly in yoga pants or jeans these days and an old sweater or tee that I don’t worry about. The kittens LOVE to be held and cuddled and that is more important right now. Older cats already know not to put out their claws but little ones still learning. I will be able to dress nicer one of these days when they are older but I am in no hurry for them to get older, so much fun the age they are! Lol! 😀 I am usually covered in fur of all colors too. I dress nice when I leave the house. Yes, lots of love here. 😀

Thirteen days including the travel. One week on the Riverboat and two days each in Amsterdam and Brussels. So, I really need seven days worth of clothes for day, evening and what have you. I am looking at a Marla scarf that ties some of her colors together. There is navy and black and I need to sneak another color in there. I thought the turquoise popover might work but it is on its way home to HSN. I shall figure it out. Scarves…..

As long as my Ari is safe and sound and waiting for Mommy and Daddy I will be okay.

In three weeks I go back to Doctor for Blood Pressure check. I would like to melt five pounds by then.

As for your home and kitties and tuition. For me, we have what we have. I think and hope you must have a lot of love around you. I was getting bored with the same old same old till Heidi came along. Now, I enjoy pulling myself together. So, do I need another Heidi. Physically, no. Everything else…yes. Within what we can afford, always. Sometimes a little splurge…okay.

@Sheba, I posted to you and have no idea where it went! I wanted to clear up the confusion which is totally my doing! No wonder you were in shock! I put a dollar sign AND a k! I know better than that! I guess that’s why I shouldn’t post before eating breakfast. Lol. The check was for $2,275. The bill was at $38,000 (or 38k). We have it down by about half but hard to do with the interest charged per month! Anyway, just wanted to clear that up because I couldn’t stand to think of you in a state of shock with your hair standing on end! Lol! Hopefully, the kitties will all be healthy and have a good year so we can get this paid off! Hope that helps with your shock… now breathe easy and have a really great day anticipating Heid’s visit! 😀

Had blood draw today. I think it must be me but blood draws tire me out. It must be the thought of them. I have a committee meeting in an hour. It might be one of the last of these meetings because new covenants call for a new board election. I have always participated on committees and event chairing and co-chairing but these past few months I have stepped back.

Why,just tired. Getting myself in shape and at a maintainable weight is most important. People as me to run for the board but no. My head is level but my skin is thin. Simple. Plus, have Ari to care about. And, we f course, there is Chloe my daughter-in-law.

Zzzzz….playoff to meeting. Then home, fix dinner and lie in wait for Heidi and Jerry’s midnight birthday kiss.

@bichon18, Hope your packing goes well! I always end up over packing, no matter what! I will use my advice next time. Lol! I think Samantha Brown has excellent tips and advice for packing. You will be gone for 3 weeks? Did I read that somewhere? I have packed the extra bag before and it is helpful. I learned that after a trip for my birthday to go shopping in Chicago. I bought 2 very expensive designer shoes (one Eli Tahari, the other Italian) and I didn’t have room to pack them in their shoe boxes! I will never make that mistake again! Designer shoes should have their designer boxes! Lol! That was pretty much all the shopping I did in that week because I ended up in ER and kept for a day after. That was when my heart problems began. I LITERALLY shopped til I dropped! That was in 2007.

Hey, I hear ya, I’m in my 50’s and I don’t wear strapless either! I am sure you will find something in your closet that will work. A nice jewel neck, boat neck or v neck perhaps? Cashmere sweater – perfect! That’s what’s great with Heidi, you can wear it for every day or dressy! 😀

No, not near San Louis Obispo. That is on the coast, I am inland near the mountains. Just get on the road from there and drive inland til you hit the Sierra Nevadas. I’ll be waving! 😀
