Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

@Sheba, oh my so cold! Sounds, like Oz is at a stand still. Good luck with the pipes.
I read below about your accident rolling out of bed. Yikes. That is a freak accident.
I remember when I met you on the jewelry thread you were in the hospital and a bit in shock about the whole thing. however, I don’t think it was the ankle though. Take care Sheba and stay warm💚
You’ve been busy cleaning jewelry and posting some pictures, the Purrrfect Suite is gorgeous. You probably know it was featured on the HD site. Did you new Necklace and earrings make it through? -
Oh Sheba. We need to keep you warm.
Winter Wonderland? Balderdash!

area which is frozen now.We will be in the – We will be 3 below in an hour and going going gone.
No school tomorrow either.Amy the Vortex is looking at me and guess what I look back. Oh wind chill -30.
-
Are you with water, electricity, hubby and Poppy. I am imaging my glamorous pal keeping the pipes from freezing, making stew and keeping the place warm. Wow, they sId Chicago was more cold than the arctic. Unfathomable.
So, my new guessing game will be Marla Wynne’s TS next week.
Okay, watching another Ari…..this one a human. Next, the weather.
Beaming you down.
Auntie Aim

All I do is rest….maybe veg. I have to get motivated. So, how am I doing this?
Trying to figure out Marla Wynne’s TS next week. Her new items are springlike with a lot of horizontal stripes…OY VEY! There is a shirt like that in five colorways and a popover which looks less heavy that the one I returned. One of the colorways is Navy❤️
Now, where is that Nasty Vortex?

@Sheba,
Good Morning to you too! It is going to rain here today so we will light a fire and take advantage of the cooler weather while here. On our morning walk we noticed blossoms on some of the trees so it looks like spring is fast approaching. I love spring, but can’t we please have a little more “winter”?
I guess we will work on garage tomorrow since sun will be here then. What are you up to today besides trying to keep warm? I will be vacuuming the car and loading up some plastic bins full of my daughter’s stuff to drop off at her house. At least that will save me time tomorrow. That garage is so stressful. I wish I could do a Samantha Stevens and make it all go away! If only things could be that easy…
Chewey must be feeling a little better because he was fighting his meds this morning. As much as I hate that, it’s a good thing to see! 😀 Jonnie is getting back to normal, sleeping on her “blankie” on the bed and playing with her “baby”. She is so adorable! 😀 I am stressing over getting the outdoor girls trapped and fixed. The boys are coming around and if they go in the trap, then guess what? They are getting fixed too! My priority is the girls and I’m running out of time. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers for the kitties! 😀
I read what you posted to loaf about the prednisone. yes, it is used for many things, especially inflammation. My son used to have to take it when he had severe asthma flare-ups. I have refused it too but if I am ever that sick again I will not refuse it because it saved me from having my colon removed and needing a blood transfusion. It’s side effects are really horrible though. Hey, how did you manage to fall out of bed onto soft carpet and break your leg in three places? OUCH! That must have been some dream! Lol. Seriously, that sounds awful!
Thanks for hugs to kitties! They love hugs! 😀 Stay safe and warm! 😀@loaf,
Glad to hear from you! OUCH! Your leg sounds rough too! I am glad to hear you have no problems with it. You have some interesting friends! One is building a plane and has had a pool in his bedroom? That sounds like fun! Building a plane is no easy feat but I guess to him it comes naturally! My son built his own computer when in 7th grade. Those things come naturally to him too but I doubt he will ever build his own plane. I would love to have an indoor pool if I lived where it is cold so I could use it year round.
Stay warm and safe in those freezing temps!@Cherie,
Glad to hear you are all caught up and raring to go! I agree, each step Chewey takes toward getting better is a celebration! 😀 Is it Spring there yet? I would venture to say yes.@bichon18,
I hope you are feeling even better today. Cuddle up with that sweet little Ari and get your rest. I know you are busy planning for your trip but I hope you take the time to get some rest.Shout outs @taci, @southernlights, @velvet, @mightymouse. Have a great day ! Stay warm and toasty. Hugs to all! 😀

Five Minutes to Happiness
If you aren’t a naturally happy person, take time each day to cultivate that which brings you happiness.
It can be so easy to get caught up in the rigors of modern life that we tend to forget that happiness need not come with stipulations. Happiness becomes something we must schedule and strive for–a hard-won emotion–and then only when we have no worries to occupy our thoughts. In reality, overwhelming joy is not the exclusive province of those with unlimited time and no troubles to speak of. Many of the happiest people on earth are also those coping with the most serious challenges. They have learned to make time for those simple yet superb pleasures that can be enjoyed quickly and easily. Cultivating a happy heart takes no more than five minutes. The resultant delight will be neither complex nor complicated, but it will be profound and will serve as a reminder that there is always a reason to smile.
So much that is ecstasy-inducing can be accomplished in five minutes. Alone, we can enjoy an aromatic cup of our favorite tea, take a stroll through the garden we have created, write about the day’s events in a journal, doodle while daydreaming, or breathe deeply while we listen to the silence around us. In the company of a good friend or treasured relative, we can share a few silly jokes, enjoy a waltz around the room, play a fast-paced hand of cards, or reconnect through lighthearted conversation. The key is to first identify what makes us dizzyingly happy. If we do only what we believe should bring us contentment, our five minutes will not be particularly satisfying. When we allow ourselves the freedom to do whatever brings us pleasure, five minutes out of 14 wakeful hours can brighten our lives immeasurably.
It is often when we have the least free time or energy to devote to joy, that we need to unwind and enjoy ourselves the most. Making happiness a priority will help you find five minutes every day to indulge in the things that inspire elation within you. Eventually, your happiness breaks will become an established part of your routine. If you start by pursuing activities you already enjoy and then gradually think up new and different ways to fill your daily five minutes of happiness, you will never be without something to smile about.

Cherie,
I am so glad you and the kids and hubby are doing better. I know the kids would rather
be in school then battling a bug. I have had many days like that. Thanks for bringing
some warm California Air our way. Cherie for now the Sun is out and that helps. ♥Making stew today and it smells good. Poppy and I are home and keeping the pipes
warm. Tomorrow will be -10 oh I am so looking forward to that. Grrr….Meanwhile I will just have some more tea and stay warm. Blessings to you and your
family today. -

better. I noticed ice this morning and I had to be real careful. The Vortex is on us it

Dreaming and anywhere else it is warm. ♥ Long over due for a real Vacation!! Seriously.Well part of my day is keeping the pipes from freezing we have wrapped the pipings
and keeping some water running and have cabinets open to let heat in. Yeah I have had
pipes frozen and that means no WATER. So I am hoping the power does not go out.I am making stew in my slow cooker for today. Here is to warmer days. ♥

I did not know it was used for so many purposes. I will take it only if there is nothing else.
Loaf I fell out of bed on a Summer Night and broke my ankle in 3 different place and
dislocated my foot. Very painful spent entire summer in a cast. This was years ago. First
