Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

I got the CL jackets mixed up. If I get her TS tonight it will be the peach color. Have not decided yet though. Trying not to spend these days and I need another jacket like I need a whole in my head but the peach color… so pretty! 😀 Kisses to Ari!

@Sheba,
Top of the morning to you too! 😀 I am glad you were able to see the moon last night! I remembered later the phrase “red sky at night, sailor’s delight; red sky in morning, sailor’s take warning”. I should have known what was coming last night with that torrential rain! I’m disappointed I never got to see the moon! I hope I get a chance in 2021. It must have been beautiful!
What are you up to today? I’m packing up some of my son’s Christmas ornaments to send him a few at a time. They have been in storage for years now and it’s time he has them. After that I will be working on my closets and drawers or my jewelry. I’m thinking of getting an ebay account to sell some of my things but it seems a big inconvenience though. No need to decide now.
That was quite an intense game last night! I sure hope Rams win the Super Bowl! I hope they win BIG TIME! I don’t like arrogance, just saying…
Hey, game NOT OVER! Some of the Chiefs (6 players) are going to the pro bowl this weekend and 6 of the Bears’ players are going to play in it too! How exciting! They take the best from the NFC and the AFC and they play each other. I know the Chiefs’ QB, Mahones is going and so is the Bears QB, Trubisky! 🙂 I will be watching for sure. 😀@Cherie,
I’m so sorry your family is not feeling well. Get your rest, stay warm and have plenty of fluids! Prayers for a speedy recovery for everyone! 😀@bichon,
Happy to know you will be rooting for the Rams in the Super Bowl! 😀 I love PBS too! I remember that program 6 wives of HenryVIII, I would have hated to have lived back then. PBS has such good programs. Love Downton Abbey. Have you ever watched Grantchester or Foyle’s War? The actor in that one reminds me of my Dad. I have the series of Downton Abbey but still need to get Grantchester and Foyle’s War. Do you watch Poldark?
Tonight I am waiting for Colleen’s TS. I want it in green. We will see though…
Heidi will be here soon! 😀@loaf, @velvet, @taci, @southernlights, @mightymouse – hope everyone has a great day and is warm and healthy! Hugs to all! 😀

Hi Ice Maiden of Oz;
Well, we watched both games last night. The Patriots and Chiefs was one for all time.
So, on Super Bowl night we will be rooting for the Rams in honor of Kittengirl. Until then; I have closets to purge. Ari is currently on the grooming truck getting spiffy. He is a dapper gentle soul.
PBS. For us, it was Channel 2 and still is although it reverts to the HD station. I still put in 2. I remember watching The Six Wives of Henry the Eighth. On showtime, it was the Tudors. Masterpiece Theater was every Sunday with Allistar Cooke. My uncle was principal harpist for The NY Philarmonic. We saw every Live from Lincoln Center. It was all good.
Do you remember the model Colleen Corby or have you heard of her. In the 60s we all wanted to look like her…especially those with dark hair.
Oh well;
Auntie Aim

Abraham, Martin And John
Dion DiMucciHas anybody here seen my old friend Abraham,
Can you tell me where he’s gone?
He freed a lotta people, but it seems the good die young
But I just looked around and he’s gone.
Has anybody here seen my old friend John,
Can you tell me where he’s gone?
He freed a lotta people, but it seems the good die young
But I just looked around and he’s gone.
Has anybody here seen my old friend Martin,
Can you tell me where he’s gone?
He freed a lotta people, but it seems the good die young
But I just looked around and he’s gone.
Didn’t you love the things they stood for?
Didn’t they try to find some good for you and me?
And we’ll be free,
Someday soon it’s gonna be one day.
Has anybody here seen my old friend Bobby,
Can you tell me where he’s gone?
I thought I saw him walkin’ up over the hill
With Abraham, Martin and John. -

Strong Woman
What makes a woman confident is her ability to call upon her feminine wisdom.
So often in our world we tend to think of strength as a quality that arises from a place of firm determination and a will to succeed no matter the cost. Even though we might want to think of a strong woman as being defined in this way, what really makes a woman confident is her capacity for listening to her true self and being able to call upon her feminine wisdom to any situation that may arise. A woman does not need to step into an assertive role or act like a man in order to be effective at what she does–she simply needs to get in touch with her insight and sense of compassion to truly demonstrate the depth of her strength.
Listening to the feminine side of ourselves may not seem easy at first for this type of energy is something that is often overlooked in many aspects of our everyday lives. If we can connect with this part of who we are, however, we will find that there is an unlimited wellspring of strength available to us. Our capacity to tap into our intuition and listen to our inner guides, to take into account the needs of those around us, and to view a situation with compassion and love are ways that we can show the world the true power that is part of our feminine nature. When we learn to integrate this source of strength into our daily tasks and decision-making, we will find that we can be more flexible and open to the things that happen around us and more receptive to new ideas. Not only will we see the world in a different light, but we will truly start to realize the potential for this form of energy to both empower ourselves and those around us.
As we cultivate our feminine energy we can redefine the meaning of strength. By embracing our feminine power as something that is strong in its own right, we are able to use it with true assurance and determination and draw upon what truly belongs to us.
