I remember her talking to Heidi on air! That is how I know her name! I wasn’t part of the community when you used to have private message features. I wish we did because I would love to have everyone’s emails or phone numbers. It makes it hard sometimes because everything is so public and open. I know I talk a lot but I really am a pretty private person so I hold back a lot too. I would love to be able to share my name or know everyone else’s, or their kids names, what we all do in our lives but I can’t. One day i hope we can all meet up somewhere.

I forget which dragon piece Faire bought. Do you remember? I hope she gets that pretty one you posted unless she already has it. I hope she is getting rest and her pain has gone away.

My headache is getting worse and my daughter still has her procedure! She has been there since 11:00. I am very mad about that! It is wrong to keep someone waiting like that! Grandson will be here in a few and we will eat dinner. I have no idea how long her procedure will take.

Oh, you sound like you are having a bad day and a little down. Call your mom! She would love to hear from you! I want my mom too. I miss talking to her everyday.
Yes, Colorado is cold too. Is it a little warmer though? Maybe you should take a mini vacay for a few days somewhere warm and thaw out your toes! I bet it would be great to see your kids in Atlanta! 😀 It is so hot here most of the year that I just LOVE when it gets colder but then, we don’t have below zero temps. That would be hard! Are your fireplaces going? I think I might put it on tonight and enjoy it but if my headache doesn’t go away, then forget it.
I hope you do something nice for yourself tonight. I know you have a full plate and worry about your dad and sister and you are always thinking of everyone here. You should do something nice for yourself! Is hubby able to take you out somewhere special? We all need that sometimes.

Oh, don’t mind if I do join you! That looks very good and I could use a snack right now. Headache coming on. Ugh. I am glad your Dr gave you more sinus spray. I don’t want those sniffles to turn into something worse again! Hey, we have been talking about Vitamin D lately, how is yours? Have you had it tested? Very important to our overall health and pain levels.

I love to wear coral! One of my fave colors to wear. I don’t usually go for orange but I have a burnt orange color sweater by G and i get so many compliments when I wear it! I am surprised because orange is usually not my color. I love the color though and sometimes I can get away with it, especially if paired with denim or turquoise jewelry set in gold. The Marla jacket might work for me in orange if worn with a white or cream sweater and a scarf. I saw Marla had a pretty one with the orange color in it, and I think it had navy or grey plus white. The orange in her jacket looks like it has an undertone of red so it may work. I remember I had a hot orange bikini in high school and boy did that thing make me look tan! 😀 Those days being in the sun are over! I am surprised I don’t look like a prune! I have been busy picking out all the Iman items I want before they are gone so I’m going to hold off on the TS. It might still be around this summer on clearance by then.

Jonnie and Chewey are doing well. Chewey is having a good day. 😀 Thank you for mentioning my friend. She is still struggling and misses Jake very much.

I want my Mom but she is in Colorado which is just as cold. I need to get out of the cold
I am having cabin fever. Good Grief! This is annoying.

This will be my night. I envy those who have 80 degree weather.
Kids called from Atlanta area and said their temps were 80 degrees.

Girls,

Schools are closed again tomorrow already. We have an Ice Storm. Walked Poppy to the
corner and around very short walk but enough to move.

So far still have power. Doctor gave me more sinus spray. Maybe the cold will clear the air.

This will not hurt anyone have some and join me for this hot drink. We will be -15.

The day she was very excited and she loved the Dragon. So do I.

Good luck with everything today. Our bodies do things to us that we don’t expect. It is very challenging to have to adjust to so much.

As for the TS, Orange is not for me. It is actually Jerry’s favorite color but it is not a color for my complexion. I can wear coral sometimes but not orange. We shall see where I land but I may also pass on this. Buggers. My closet needs to go on a diet. Time to put all sentimentality behind.

How are my friends Jonnie and Chewy doing. Your friend’s story is haunting. What a terrible heartbreak. Awful.

Off to cook dinner. Stir fry tonight with olive oil. Pear Balsamic dressing on salad. Come over and join us.

I like the red and the orange but not crazy about the silver buttons. I would never in a bizillion years wear silver jewelry with orange! Lol! That might look good on a woman with darker complexions but for me – yuk! One can always use more black and navy in their wardrobe so if you need it, go for it! I’m probably going to pass but I’m tempted.
I am going to post to you later regarding what you wrote on the statins but have to get in the shower now. I have to get to the pharmacy and look for a bigger pill box so I don’t forget which pills I took and when. My alarm went off a little bit ago and I turned it on snooze without remembering if I took my IMPORTANT pill! Called pharmacist and he said to wait until tonight then because if I take another one I could get into serious trouble! This has happened before so I really need one of those boxes that separates by hour and day. Mine is just day right now and I can’t put them all in there because I could accidentally take the wrong one at the wrong time. Anyway, long explanation, sorry. Will post later. 😀

Thanks for what you said about the statins. I had no idea how many of us here are on them. I am most grateful for all the kind words from everyone about not beating myself up about it. My RD told me to put quinoa in my oatmeal so I would get the protein I need. She called it “overnight oats” I need to google recipes for it. I have to take it easy with the amounts of quinoa I can eat because of my UC. I have been in remission with that since 2016 and plan on keeping it that way. I love the ideas you gave me and I will definitely try it in salad. When you put sweet potato in your smoothie, is it cooked or raw? What do you add to it? I can see using quinoa with a marinara sauce and mushrooms as a good alternative to meat for spaghetti sauce. I use gluten free pasta but it’s still carbs. I have to get my spiralizer out of its box too and make “voodles”. 😀
I found my pressure cooker but still haven’t used it.
Do you have side effects with your statins or does the coQ10 help with that for you?

Like the TS. I have a red jacket from a store that looks like the TS. I guess if I get it; it will be the navy. Oh, I have soooo much navy and Black. Will think it through. In the meantime I am watching and watching.

Top of the morning to you too! I actually did get a good night’s rest last night for which I am very grateful! 😀 How is your day going so far? Oh no, don’t go walking out on that ice! Very dangerous and poor little Poppy’s paws would freeze! Just stay warm and cozy inside! I’m glad you took care of your trees in time! We had ice again this morning so there will be no morning walk for me! I will go this evening right about sunset.
My daughter is about to have an endoscopy this morning. Hubby is taking her and waiting with her so we will have Grandson for a while later on. I think she still has to have the upper and lower GI. I absolutely hate that one. I had to have it done when I was sick and in a lot of pain. The tech was very mean with no compassion in her veins. She shouldn’t be working in that field. I asked if I could take my pills that I put under my tongue to help with cramping and she was so nasty to me. I was in so much pain. The Dr came in and I asked him and he asked what they were, then after I told him, he just held my hand and said yes, I want this to be as comfortable for you as possible. I will never forget how kind that Dr. was. Anyway, my daughter will be sedated for this procedure and hopefully it will go well. I hate it when my kids have to have these things done. I know all of us mothers feel the same way. She has been feeling much better.
Chewey still seems to be doing better. He is eating a lot and walking around. His fluids are not concentrated anymore so his meds must be helping. We will take him back in for a re-check next week.
Hey, I like the drawing! You said to let you know when one looks like me. Well, I would say she does. When I wear my hair up, it has tendrils like that on the sides and back. My hair is cut in layers because of my curls. I would also dress like her. Love her shoes. 😀 Just add a little weight on her and that is me. Hopefully that will change. I know I am working on it.
