show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.

Break Out the Beads and Get Ready for a Parade!
We’re getting ready for a Mardi Gras celebration, and there’s no better way to do that than with a brand new mask pin! -
@Sheba,
Good Morning! How is your day going? Are you staying warm in those sub zero temps? Brrr!
Did you hear of the pit bull that saved his “owner’s” life? He broke out of the house and ran to the police station, got someone to follow him home where there was a gas leak! Isn’t that incredible? Well, we all remember how the pit bull next door saved Bull! Remarkable! I remember reading about a pot belly pig that got out to save her o”owner’s life. She forced herself through the small doggie door and in doing so cut up her belly pretty bad. She went out to the road and laid down in the middle of it to get attention. A man stopped to check her and she got up and led him to her house which saved the life of the person living there who had just had a heart attack! I used that story on a paper I wrote about the healing effects of animals. Animals are absolutely amazing and deserve a lot more credit than people give them!
My headache is much better but still there a little. Yesterday was a long day and I felt so bad for my daughter. When she got here she was freezing and in a lot of pain. I had her rest in bed and warmed her up with lots of blankets, cranked up the heat and brought her some chicken soup. Poor grandson was so worried about her he had trouble eating his dinner. I reassured him she would be alright and he felt better after hearing her tell him that. We found funny cat and dog videos on utube and he started feeling better and laughing and ate his dinner then. AND a cookie! He took home oranges from our tree. I love that kid! 😀
I am hoping she stayed home and got some rest today but knowing how she pushes herself, I doubt it. I don’t recall my husband ever feeling like that after his endoscopy and he wasn’t kept waiting for hours in a cold facility either. I wish she had our Dr.! He is THE BEST GI in this area and I won’t go to anyone else! Gentle, compassionate and knows his stuff! I dread the day he retires. The nurses at the hospital recommended him to me. At that time they could do that. They don’t let them now. I found my family Dr. that way too. He is highly respected and used to be an ER Dr. He has seen it all.I hope you have a good day and that your sniffles are better! Did you buy any Marla? she is on today for a couple of hours. There is a chiffon blouse I want. Is it still grey outside or has sun broken through? I’m sending you oranges… lots of vitamin C for those sniffles! 😀
I like the curly haired girl! 😀 Hugs to you and Poppy! -

Our Inner Stock Market
We must make sure our beliefs are actually our own and not a story that’s put on us by somebody else.
Just as the stock market rises and falls in response to what people are willing to put their money behind, we have inside ourselves an inner economy that rises and falls in response to our beliefs about what is possible. Sometimes the degree to which we are willing to challenge our belief systems determines the success of our inner economy. For example, imagine that your family of origin had a belief that musical talent was not something they possessed. As a member of that group, you would likely inherit that same belief about yourself. As a result, even if you had a great desire to create music, you might be hesitant to really get behind yourself, fearing that your investment would not pay off. Even if you had the courage to follow your passion, your inner belief that you are not inherently talented would probably be a major obstacle to investing your energy in your dream.
On the other hand, if you found a way to release that negative belief, a great flood of energy would pour forth, greatly increasing the likelihood of your success. How much energy we are willing to invest in the various ideas, dreams, and visions we carry within is like the money people are, or are not, willing to invest in the various commodities available for trade on the stock market. And in both cases, belief plays a key role in determining how willing we are to get behind something. One way to open up the possibility for greater success in our inner economies is to understand that belief is not the reliable guide we sometimes think. There are other more reliable indicators of success that we can put our faith in, such as passion, gut instinct, and intuition. Some of the most successful investors in the stock market are the ones that go against the grain, trusting their instincts over the prevailing opinion about what will work.
In the same way, we can learn to trust our heart’s desires and our instincts to guide us, questioning any beliefs that stand in the way of our ability to fully invest in ourselves. As we withdraw energy from limiting ideas about what is possible, we free up the resources that have the power to make our inner economy thrive.

Quinoa is not a bad food but it is one of those fibers/grains that I have to limit. Same thing with oatmeal. For people without digestive diseases it’s great! I try to have oatmeal 3x weekly. My diet can get very tricky and I cannot tolerate a lot of foods that are supposed to be good for you. I do the best I can. I have lived with this for almost 30 years. I have discovered over the years which fruits and vegetables are “safe” for me. When I am sick though, I can’t eat any fruits, veggies, dairy and lots of other foods. Let me put it this way, unless it’s cream of rice, gluten free white bread, peanut butter, clear juice, herbal tea, chicken, beef or certain fish, potatoes, white rice, I can’t eat it. Thank Goodness for remission! 😀 I am healthy right now so I am enjoying all the fruits and veggies I can. I do better with fruit than veggies. Most veggies have to be cooked for me or blended in a smoothie. Know any good veggie smoothies?
That is outrageously nervy of those girls! They are on camera doing this? Have they been recognized by anyone? I can’t stand it when people do things like that! I hope they are caught and taught a good lesson.
Oh, Bella! LOL! I would’ve died! My kids and grandson would’ve been rolling on the floor in hysterical laughter! Did they get it on tape? Lol!
Have a good day! Hugs to you and Bella! 😀 I’m still laughing! 😀 -
