Do you prepare Thermos containers of coffee? I can remember freezing winters and standing on line for the 106 Crosstown bus in Manhattan but cancellation of the mail. As for the censoring….the other day it happened to me. Ms. klutz being me fell on my left side. Achy but not debilitated. So, I am trying to describe what ached the most. It is my left Barbara Olga Olivia Betsy.

Then I have Heidi….and a garment here and there and vitamins. Of course, he does not see what is sent back…which is maybe 15%. He has no problem with it at all. He receives packages as well. So……why bring it up? So, being a good wife; I reminded him that packages bring bills. Silence😈

So, today there is an extra 30% off sale and clearance items at Dillards. I have been watching two Ali Miles tunics that are not on the website. Early shopping for VIP customers (translation, too much time on hands). In, purchase, trip to ladies room and out. See, no packages….I will shop the old-fashioned way by bringing things in house and hiding them. And….I will tell him! Big complaint he had about ex-missus.

We are frozen here. State of Emergency and all government offices closed along with schools and universities. Travel restrictions meaning only if necessary. We’ve broke records and it’s expected to get to -50 with windchills. Our furnace runs every 10 minutes. Can’t take my little dog outside because frostbite within minutes so he is wearing a diaper and I put pads down in the laundry room. We do what we have to do to stay safe. The polar vortex should be out of here Thursday night. We are in the worst of it now so it can only get better. My Florida vacation can’t come soon enough! Prayers for those in the cold and snow. Stay warm.

Oh Sheba … Surgery, Morphine, and more surgery ….You have really been through it! Cherie is so glad you know what to do in this type of weather. Minus 10 …. Do you and Poppy still bundle up and go for a walk in that kind of weather? Keep playing those summer songs Sheba♥ … Take Care ALL!

@kittengirl …. Looks like we’re in for a little more rain … which means in about 2 weeks our desert will look like this …. Yeah I think winter is leaving.

Yes I do have a fireplace in the bedroom and it is on now. I hear some people like Chicago
have it worse. I lived there as a child and will never forget the extreme cold.

We can get through this. I will take Poppy for a quick walk and that is all I will do outside.

@Sheba, yes, stunning. I have a rule about those one of a kind pieces, get it!
Glad it made it through the the storm. I really like the few purchases I have made on the Hd site, and the packaging is top notch. The Locket heart necklace arrived but I will gift it for Valentine’s Day to my Mother.

My husband had that surgery, and was on morphine for a day while they were trying to figure things out. He had signs but his Dr missed it and that’s how he ended up in the ER a few times. His surgury was about 6 or 7 years ago.
eight days is a long time to be on morphine. You must have needed it.

Your ankle accident sounds just frightening. You must be so happy it’s behind you.

Fireplaces are so wonderful! Do you have one in the bedroom?

My son is at school and has his procedure Thursday. He has class on Friday, and will drive home after.
We do love the weather here, and it so great to have options of the beach or Mtns, but it’s becoming crazycali,and taxes are suited to retirees.
I saw a teacup Yorkie on my walk today, guess I didn’t need glasses after all 😀

Yes it did. I got them Saturday. Stunning is all I can say. I buy Heidi Daus all the time.
Most of my sets are suites and some have taken years to do.

Yes I was in the Hospital on the Jewel Thread. Emergency Gall Bladder and then some surgery.

I was in shock I was in the hospital bed for 8 days. I was pumped full of morphine I cannot
handle that so if something happens it is in my medical records. Yep, I fell out of bed
on a summer night in June. Hubby was on the road working the windows were all open
All my neighbors heard my screams in my sleep and came to help. EMT’s had to put me
in a wheel chair and take me down a flight of stairs to get to the ambulance. The physician
picked up my feet and put it back in my ankle I let out a yell that I am sure was heard
throughout the hospital. My boss even came to see me. I was in a cast from foot to knee
all summer long. I use a letter opener to scratch. LOL! I am taking this Vortex and praying
we don’t be without power. Fireplaces are on and so far so good the next 48 hours will
tell the tale. Hey enjoy Cali how is your son?
