Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

I love Niagara too! Marilyn did an outstanding job in that one! Misfits is my fave movie of hers.
Any snow coming? Stay warm and safe. 😀

@Sheba,
I hope you are having a good day and staying warm! Any new snow today? Pipes ok? Hope you are not still having sniffles. Yes, things have calmed down in the neighborhood but hubby and I are really looking forward to moving! We are not afraid to be out walking in our neighborhood but we are afraid to leave the house unattended and the kitties by themselves. I know, things like this are happening everywhere but our neighborhood has really been going through a change. I am not so heavy-hearted today knowing the family is ok but I know that was very traumatic for them. I would move too but not everyone has that option. they have only been in their house 3 months.
I am working on my goals for this year (organizing and preparing) and have been busy working on files. There is so much to do!
Cats are funny that way Sheba! Lol! We have a lot of kitties to get “fixed” and have had to do them as money allowed. At one time, we had to separate the girls from the boys at the first sign of going into heat. We did not get to Chewey and Cuddles in time because Cuddles soon had Walker! I can’t imagine life without him! I loved my “baby boy Walker” so much. I truly hope though that there are no more kittens in our near future and we can get to the girls in time.
Well, I must get back to work. Have a good evening! 😀 -

Hi Sheba;
Hello to you and to little Ari❤️ I am thinking I will never have that size puppy again. We are rescue people. We are not in our fifties….rescue groups like younger people for puppies. But…hand me a puppy and flowers bloom around me.
Saw the bad weather out there. Stay warm and cozy.

Honoring Our Children
Our words and our actions are absorbed by our children, regardless of their age.
Everything we do and say in the presence of our children makes an impression on them. We may think we can get away with swearing or gossiping in front of them when they can’t talk, but we have forgotten that just because they can’t talk doesn’t mean they don’t hear. They are sensitive sponges absorbing their environment in ways we will never know. Even if the words don’t make sense to them, they make an impression, as does the energy behind the words. We honor our children when we acknowledge that they are fully present from the very beginning and when we offer ourselves to them in ways that model the best of what humans can be.
When we bring a child into the world, a great welling up of love and hope fills our hearts. We unequivocally want the very best for our children, and we want to be the best parents a child could ever want. We begin to see ourselves and our lives in a different light, and things that seemed okay before we had a child suddenly reveal themselves as problematic. This can lead to a somewhat mincing review of our habits of speech, thought and feeling, our relationships, and our physical habits. We may feel that we have put ourselves under a microscope, which can be stressful. However, it can also lead to a great healing of our own unresolved issues, enabling us to be good parents to our children. Talking to other conscious parents about this life transformation can be very helpful.
Our desire to become the best we can be is often strongest at the very beginning of a child’s life and sometimes loses its intensity as we grow accustomed to their presence. However, it is never too late to look at ourselves and notice whether we are offering our best to our children. That original welling up of love and hope can inspire us throughout our lives to be the best we can be.

Shout out to you this morning and I hope peace and calm have returned to your
area. Hugs to the kitties. Oh my kids once brought home kitties that were brothers and
sister and one day I went where the cats were kept only to discover 8 baby kittens.
It blew my mind I gave them all away and gave the brother away too. I kept the mother
for many years. Yeah I am still laughing at that one.
Enjoy ♥ -
The kids were out yesterday and they will be out tomorrow. WE have a ton of snow coming
this way.Sorry you had a lot to do. This is for you. ♥
