We are 14 degrees tonight. I am keeping very warm. I will talk to the people who may have
moved in as I have never seen those before. I don’t want one to jump the fence then I have
to react fast. I am not scared of dogs of any size. I don’t want a bad bite nor do I want Poppy
hurt. It will be a fight to the death. I hope it does not come to that. I doubt it. We do have
a leash law here in my City. Every dog should be on a leash.

Hey I have dental next week cleaning. I am glad you rescheduled. Kitten your body need
a rest. Hugs to the kitties.

How are you today? Jerry’s friend told him that Antwerp is the diamond center of the world. He has some contacts but he does not know how good they are. Do not laugh….unless there is a most unusual rock or configuration; I enjoy my Heidi. Okay, I need my head examined. We will see and I will google….maybe.

In the Mah Jongg room now. Lots of women, noise and it got me out of my closet. Two days and some leeway. Looks neater. I have a big pile for consignment, lots in the cleaning woman’s bag and some for the charity. Lots of stuff in the garbage.

How are you today? Are you staying warm? I hope so. I am happy to hear the big dogs were not bullying Poppy today! We used to have two mean pitbulls that ran lose in our neighborhood and the owners did nothing about it. They would come in our front yard and also go across the street and growl at our neighbor. One day they chased him into his house. Another day they came at him so the neighbor through metal pipes at them (he was working on his car). They terrorized our street and the street they lived on. Everyone complained to them and animal control. They talked to them but did nothing. The police were also called and the people were fined and warned. They didn’t care and let them out again. The dogs were obviously trained to be vicious. The dogs were eventually picked up after they attacked a man on the other street in his own front yard! It’s a shame when people are like that and their neglect causes animals to be like that. We have 4 pitbulls living next door. They are the sweetest dogs and so well behaved. I talk to them all the time through the fence. Remember how one of them saved Bull? 😀
You mentioned talking to the owners of those dogs and wondered if you should. I think you should. They sound aggressive to me and they should be aware that they are behaving like that. just my 2 cents.
I ended up rescheduling my dental appointment for the earliest time they had which is next week. I guess its still soft foods and soup for me. I just couldn’t go in today. I am wiped out from yesterday and I think my body has been through enough stress with the test yesterday and my infection. It looks like a bullet hole, seriously!
I will try your tip for falling back to sleep. I hope it works for me. I am looking forward to seeing some of your air fryer recipes! 😀
I love the kitty in the tree and not only does it look like Cali, it looks like my neighbor’s tree with Gizmo or Frank in it! 😀

Insecurity

To understand your insecurities, you must get to the root source and know that it is only a mask you wear.

There is an innate awkwardness to being human. With each decision we make, there is the potential for self-doubt, and it is this self doubt that forms the root of insecurity–a complex emotion that is a mix of equal parts inadequacy, isolation, fear, and hopelessness. Yet these feelings of insecurity that prevent us from fulfilling our potential by inducing us to abide by arbitrary self-limitations are nothing more than erroneous perceptions. We feel unconfident and unsure of ourselves because we judge ourselves to be so. Banishing insecurity is often simply a matter of challenging ourselves in order to prove that we are indeed intelligent and able.

When we feel insecure, we not only perceive ourselves as incapable of meeting life’s challenges but also fraudulent and unworthy of true happiness. We move through life plagued by a sense that others have judged us and found that we are lacking. As a result, we are robbed of our personal power and rendered unable to feel positive about the choices we make. Everyone feels insecure from time to time because each of us is born into the world with unique strengths. If you should find yourself with feelings of insecurity, however, endeavor to understand their source. Perhaps you were repeatedly berated as a child or seldom receive positive reinforcement in the present. A tendency to withdraw from risk or uncomfortable situations can amplify feelings of insecurity. When you have pinpointed the origin of your insecurity, focus on your abilities. The more you utilize your personal power–by taking risks, boldly facing challenges, and acting decisively–the stronger it will grow.

Remember that insecurity is not objective. Rather, it is an emotional interpretation of your value unconsciously based on doubt, shame, and fear. As you overcome those underlying emotions through courageous action and copious self-love, you’ll discover that you are capable of achieving more than you ever thought possible.
