I don’t blame ya @taci … Most of the time Cherie’s land line phones are just “Robo Calls” … Grrr! With Captain driving, we would get up there for sure, but the place is CLOSED. They are loosing thousands every day. The damage to the roads were quite extensive … a few maintenance employees are airlifted up there…. It’s really too bad.

So @loaf … Due tell (when you get a minute) us ALL about how that Pillow Topper works out. Cherie would like to purchase a few for our fold outs and guest bedrooms.

Yes Sheba,
I know the feeling, there is always something to do! I’m heading to bed in a few as tomorrow will be busy from the moment I get up at 5. I’m very tired and have slept for several hours today. Tomorrow is my Grandson’s 6th birthday and he is having a birthday party at the near-by park. I will be wrapping his presents in the morning and helping my daughter get all the food ready. Grandson is excited for his party. He is absolutely adorable. He has the cutest and sweetest personality and reminds me so much of my kids when they were little. He is very smart and quite a conversationalist. His vocabulary amazes me. He joined the “Kind Kids Club” at school. He wears a super hero kindness cape for the meetings. Is that too cute, or what? I can’t believe he is 6 tomorrow. Where did all these years go? Before I know it, he will be in high school. Life goes by too fast.
Glad you enjoyed your fish tonight. Since I was sleeping I didn’t cook and neither did Hubby. I had one of those frozen quiche things – great for my cholesterol. I had lots of fresh fruit too. I hope you are staying warm. It is cool here and has been raining today, mostly early this morning. It poured last night. I am loving it because it doesn’t happen all that often here. Keep those fires going and stay warm.
Enjoyed the gallery and songs, especially the Roberta Flack one. One of my fave songs. Like @taci, takes me back a ways. I was very young and don’t even think I was old enough to get the meaning of the song but from the moment i heard that one, it was a fave.

Good to know the bracelet is pretty in green. I have had it in my faves for a while. I would like it in rose, green and red. Maybe orange for my Chicago Bears games! I always put on my game gear and Xavier orange (lab created) sapphire earrings for the games. It will be football season before we know it although it will seem like forever because the summers here are endless and hot as you know where. Glad you are enjoying the rain and cool weather too. 😀
5 miles is quite a hike! Good for you! My hubby would not make it that far. He is supposed to have surgery on his veins and can’t walk that far. I hope that will change afterwards. I wouldn’t be able to last 5 miles either. Keep up the good job on that hiking! 😀

Haven’t heard from you and I am concerned about little Ari. I hope he is feeling better! The effects of pesticides really worry me! Please let us all know how he is doing as I think we are all concerned for him. I know as his mommy it is hard on you to see him not feeling well. Give him big hugs and kisses for me! And from all the kitties too.
Did you start on the guest room closet? I hope it is going well. I read where you said you were sentimental about your clothes. Me too. Makes it hard because you go down memory lane. My SIL and daughter are not sentimental about clothes and have a much easier time with that than I do.
Did you get the Skinn TS or any other Skinn products? I got the TS. Looking forward to trying.

@loaf, sorry about the mattress. Does hubby share this dislike of the new mattress? Can’t it be returned? I see you coped well ala Tory Burch…

I have the opposite problem. Hubby loves my old mattress so much (it was from before we were even married, bought at Macy’s), he doesn’t want to replace it. And when the topic comes up my son says to put it in his room.lol.

@Sheba, I know you and Southern have had enough winter, but I hope our cooler, rainy weather holds out a bit longer. On our hike today, hubby commented that he felt like we were in another country, it was very cold, and wet. We got in 5 miles but I hope to build up to a the 8 mile trail. My shoes were telling me 5 was enough…. Do you wear hiking boots? How was your walk today? The pictures are awesome and the Roberta Flack song, is one I remember hearing back in the day. Lovely flowers too! I can’t wait to hear about your Skinn items.

@Cherie, I will be looking to possibly cut the land line next but still thinking about it for now. Maybe the Captain can off road you all to the tram 😀.
