@taci … Wow, That time for Cherie seems soo far away, but I know that day will come. Captain has always dreamed about going off the grid, I thought about it for 10 minutes … but that is not in Cherie’s cards right now with the kids.

I do see coyotes, we have lots here. They seem very healthy too.

Are you cleaning you closet to make room for all the new purses you want?
I have slowed way down on purse purchases over the years. Just keep my favorites.

@Cherie, we can cut the connections since we are partially empty nesters now. Our son is in College so it’s just us. Makes it a lot easier to change these things.

@Bichon, are you still packing away? I will look forward to hearing about your travels and of course whatever, new Heidi comes you way.

@Sheba, I am glad your neighbor told you he was leaving, shock that it is for you… and for Palm Springs, so far away. He will love it! If it weren’t in Ca I would retire there too! He sounds like an interesting person and he will will meet many retirees there as well.

If you find new hiking shoes let me know. I have been very happy with Merrill’s, and hubby ended up buying them too. now they are his favorite. We hike on dry, rocky, hilly surfaces.

Glad Poppy goes with you. Sounds like he does ok with the Moonlight walks.

We did,a short hike today at 3 miles. Feels light compared to the killer 5’er’s.

Are you still working on yours or are you packing now and checking off your list? Good for you getting it done now. Makes for a much more relaxing trip. I am hoping I can go to Paris one year and I want to go on one of those UK cruises too. Visit my Mom’s ancestral castle in Scotland! 😀 How fun! Oh, you are going to have such a wonderful time. Can you skype with Ari while you are gone? I hope so! 😀

Yes, I feel better but tooth still hurting. Going to stay busy today and have so much to get done!
Check out the new D&B bags. I like 649-442 and 649-443. I like the bone, midnight blue and the coral. I love a pop of color. Yesterday I watched some videos on Hermes scarves. Drool. Drool. Drool.
Check out the new Vince Camuto bags and the coming TS shoe (645-525 “Esten”). I will get either black, red or navy. I like the Plum bag (641-466) in nude beige and the Indra bag (641-452) in black/white. I am hoping they will bring the larger tote too.

Hope your tooth continues to feel better. Your neighbor may be right about those taxes because he doesn’t already own a house here and will not be penalized for selling his Colorado home. Hubby and I will be penalized when we sell ours. Plus, years ago ( I don’t know if it is true still) you were taxed on retirement income according to the state in which you lived and worked so he will be taxed on Colorado’s retirement income taxes which is way less than California. That’s how it was many years ago when I went back to school (finance/accounting). I am sure he has got it all figured out or he wouldn’t be moving here. People are leaving by the droves now. We don’t know where we want to go but if we stay we will be getting solar for sure. Tell him to get solar energy if his house doesn’t have it already. I’m not sure what rates are down in Palm Springs but up here, they are cray-cray. The company here has a monopoly on the area and are at fault for the fires in No. Cal so they are filing bankruptcy and increasing everyone’s rates even more! Our bill is already outrageous in the summer and we run our AC from April to end of October – peak months being June, July, August and September. I am dreading the warm weather coming…

I am feeling better, thank you. Yes, horrible way to wake up! GI can do a surgical procedure to fix it but it doesn’t happen that often anymore since I eat a lot better now and usually no prepared or packaged foods. I will pass your birthday greetings on to the birthday boy! 😀 Stay safe on those hikes! Any snakes out yet? Mountain Lions? I guess there are things to contend with wherever you walk. Here, it is speeding people late to work. Our ducks came back! I love them! Every spring they visit our yard and hang out! 😀
