Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

So good to see you check in this morning with the update! Please keep them coming! I wrote to you last night (I think?) but you may not have seen it, it was rather wordy and I know you are exhausted. I will keep this one short for you!
I am so happy to hear about his tail wagging! Good sign! Good idea to call the vet on that other pain pill. He may not need it but the liquid ones are much easier! It’s so hard to give medicine in pill form. Is he on antibiotics? Were the pre-surgery antibiotics for his heart or was that to prevent post operative infection? I am just curious and that’s why I’m asking. If you are too tired, don’t bother answering.
Get your sleep and cuddle your baby! Prayers continue for speedy healing! 😀 -
Haven’t heard from you in a while so I hope all is ok. I read your 6 yr old grandson had a fever. I hope he has mended now and well. My 6 yr old grandson was sent home yesterday from school. He got sick and apparently has the flu. He did get his flu shots but it still happens some times. It happened to me last year even though I got mine. No guarantees I guess. I hope he is much better.
How are you, Bella and the family doing? Please check in when you can. Has Spring sprung yet?

Good morning to you! That’s a great idea of a gift certificate for Sheba! I think that would be a good idea for HSN to start giving them once in a while to those in the community that are a positive input! I hope they are reading this!
Thank you so much for the congrats on the new family member! They are all understandably exhausted! Such a good reason to be exhausted though. 😀
I hope all is well and you enjoy your hiking today! Is the rain over for you down there? I know you live in the SD area as well as my new baby grand nephew. Do they still put birth announcements in the paper? Well if you see one with the baby’s initials being CJP and parents being JP and CP(Navy), that would be them!
Have a great day! 😀

@Sheba,
Top of the morning to you as well! Yes, I did see the adorable kitty gallery you left for me last night before I went to sleep! I LOVED it! Thank you! I love all your sweet and thoughtful pictures you leave! 😀 The picture of the kitty that you want looks like my late Ernie. Oh everybody LOVED Ernie! Such a friendly and lovable guy! I really miss him! He loved to “talk” so the house is so much more quiet now. He also liked to take his tail and knock it against the pot rack so all the pots and pans would make noise! What a character he was! 😀
Thanks for asking about the kitties. Chewey is holding his own and we are to continue to give him the prednisone every day so he will gain weight. Poor little guy! He was soooo happy to be back home and out of that cage! Bull is at vet right now. Hubby took him in because I can’t handle him; he is a wild one! He will eventually settle down some when he gets older but he is too much of a handful for me now! Cray-cray kitty ninja warrior, that one! Lol!
No babies yet and I’m hoping they can hold out a little longer because we are expecting thundershowers this afternoon-evening and more rain on Thursday. They look like they are about to POP! We are going to set out some boxes in places we think will stay dry that are a little secluded for them. The kitty door won’t be installed for 2 more weeks! Just want those kittens to be warm, dry and safe! I sure hope Tammy-Tabitha has them in the backyard this time! I wish the door were going to be installed in time but those girls aren’t going to last that long.
I love poppies too! I used to have an area in my yard full of poppies, Iris and English roses. I have some beautiful pictures of my calico, Cali, laying down in them. I am wanting to sprinkle some poppy seeds in with the Iris surrounding the birdbath. There is nothing prettier than flowers and kitties in your yard! 😀
I’m so happy southernlights55 fur baby is going to be alright! I slept pretty well last night knowing he came through the surgery fine. I bet she is exhausted! My Dr appointment went well and infection cleared up, plus got some answers and advice on upcoming surgery so it eased my mind. I am positive that helped me get some sleep too!
I hope you have a good day! So glad you are enjoying your old school jewels from Heidi! I have worn the bracelet twice and love it! It goes with everything! Kisses to Poppy! 😀 Thanks for the kind words yesterday. 😀

Good morning in Cali. I am feeling somewhat better today. I hope you enjoy the day
walking and hiking your trails. Taci do your son roller skate? I would like to do some
cool pics of roller skating. Cali is known for that. ♥ Have fun AZ. 🙂 -
Thank you that is the whole point just letting it go after a stressful day. ♥
I have SiriusXM and they have a lot of great older tunes. I love listening to them.
My dad gave me some older CD’s and I am discovering I like older music. 🙂I just like to play around a little before I log off. LOL!

Wealth Is Neutral
As a form of potential energy that empowers us to generate change, money is neither good nor bad.
At its most basic, money is a tool that enables us to meet our individual needs. As a form of potential energy that empowers us to generate change, it is neither good nor bad. Yet many people react emotionally to issues concerning finances, unconsciously condemning currency itself, the manner in which money is spent, and people who live lives of financial abundance. Individuals who are rich in gifts such as high intelligence are acknowledged for their positive traits while those who have acquired material riches or aspire to become wealthy are frequently judged harshly. However, wealth is not a trait upon which judgment can be legitimately passed. It tells us nothing about how a person lives, what they believe in, whom they care for, or the scope of their values. Like any blessing, wealth is merely an instrument of purpose that can be used both constructively and destructively.
From an early age, people learn to court wealth while simultaneously associating money with greed, selfishness, and unethical behavior. Consequently, this idea becomes entrenched in their hearts as envy. To attain a balanced and rational comprehension of money, as well as a fairer perspective of wealth, we need to recognize that outward manifestations of wealth tell us little about the individuals enjoying those blessings. When we feel the finger of jealousy prompting us to draw unflattering conclusions about people whose lives seem more financially secure than our own, we should remind ourselves that there are many elements of their circumstances we cannot see. Their wealth may be the result of long hours of taxing labor, they may donate a large percentage of their resources to charitable causes, or their bounty may be an incidental aspect of a life spent doing what they love. Ultimately, we can heal our hurtful associations with money by turning a blind eye toward both wealth and poverty when interacting with others and instead focusing on the individual before us.
If you take a moment to consider your own feelings regarding money and wealth, you may discover that you equate financial prosperity with happiness, power, security, independence, or self-indulgence. Money itself, however, is none of these things. You can begin developing a healthier view of wealth by simply accepting that while some possess great wealth and others do not, we all have the potential to create lives of beauty, substance, and wisdom using the resources we have been granted.
