Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

I have to say not a day goes by that I don’t think of my little Sheba. People don’t know
that my log in name is Sheba because of my dog a lot of us on this thread are connected
to out pets. Kittengirl is about her love of cats. Bichon18 is her love for her dogs and so on.I hope this does not wear you out. When my fur baby is sick I am sick. Hey I posted on
the Heidi Daus Thread she will be on tomorrow I got the email and I think you did too.You know no one can replace Rick Grimes. Negan is a bad boy so maybe if he has become
human. I like his humor when he is funny. -
Thank you, Sheba ❤️
When my little Yorkie passed 2 years ago, I thought I was going to die. My Maltese and Yorkie were a bonded pair and my Maltese actually was depressed. We started what we call a new chapter which included taking him everywhere with us and daily hikes. It sure helped him through the grieving process and me too. Walking is good for the soul. My Maltese is too old to consider bringing in a puppy. It’s odd because we always had 3 dogs and going down to 1 was an adjustment. He is doing much better today. Still can’t get the pain pill down him but we are able to get the liquid pain medicine down him. We have two more syringes so we’ll see how he does when we run out. If he is in pain, i’ll Get more of the liquid medicine. Yes, I do watch WD. I know, Negan did some awful things but I think he has found his heart. I hope so. -
@Cherie,
Thank you for all the prayers for everyone’s fur babies! 😀
My, what a nice surprise from Hubby! He is a keeper! I love it! I don’t have the ceiling height in my home for that piece except the living room and it is full with a giant bookcase. I love cherry wood! I also love mahogany and walnut. My house has all those woods, from antique to newer. It’s a beautiful piece and I hope you enjoy it very much! 😀
I am in search of a new bed! I have a pretty metal one in a verdigris finish. It’s pretty but I am wanting a mahogany four poster to go with the dresser. They are hard to find these days, everything is either upholstered, modern or very chunky. I have been searching for a couple of years. I am probably going to have to go down to L.A. The Ethan Allen we had here went out of business and they don’t offer online anything that works. Antique stores don’t have California King. All the wait will just make it sweeter, right?
Your Captain scored major points with that lovely piece! I’m glad you are so excited and i don’t blame you! Enjoy! 😀 Have a great day! 😀

@Sheba,
Top of the morning to you too! It already seems like late afternoon because I have been up since 4 a.m. Bull is doing GREAT! He is getting so big. He is tall and lanky, just like Ernie! Thank you for asking about him. He went in to get checked because he was sneezing so much and we were worried he had an upper respiratory infection but he is fine, just seasonal allergies. Chewey is doing fine today. Roberto will be the next to go in. He has lost a patch of fur on his upper back and we have no idea why. I hope it is not related to his kidneys. He is the oldest, age 20 now.
The girls hardly ate this morning so I am concerned because they are in hiding right now. We had torrential rain yesterday and flash flooding here with heavy lightening so they may be getting caught up on some sleep. It is supposed to rain again tomorrow and then that is it for a while. I hope they can hold out until the rain is over.No, grandson is not here but hubby is watching him at his house. Daughter had a mandatory field trip so she could not be home with him. I am not taking any chances with the flu right now. I will be glad when this flu season is over!
I did not know you could get mascara samples, thought they were limited to creams or foundations! I will do that! Thank you for the suggestion! The Heidi flower bracelet is beautiful! Did you get the green one you were wait-listed for?
Are you going to be planting this weekend? I will be doing work in the house or in the garage but just can’t wait to get out there and get some pretty flowers in. The snapdragons have come back under one of the tress where they are mixed in with Iris and dusty miller. It all looks so pretty now. Roses are blooming, orange trees are beginning their blooms, Iris have buds, geraniums are full of flowers. It is definitely spring! 😀
What are you doing today? I am working on more drawers. Hope whatever you do, you have a great day! Kisses to Poppy!
Shout outs to loaf, taci, southernlights, bichon. Hope all is well with all of you! Hugs and prayers still out for southern’s fur baby! 😀

Freeing Our Inner Desires
Our best chance of getting what we need is to communicate by converting our inner voice to our outside voice.
Each of us has developed an internal filtering process that helps us choose which parts of our constant inner monologues get voiced outside of our heads. Sometimes the choice is based on what we consider to be polite or appropriate, using subtlety instead of directness to try to get our point across. Other times the choice is made based on our expectations of the other person and what we feel they should know about us, our feelings, and our needs. But our best chance of getting what we need is to communicate specifically by converting our inner voice to our outside voice.
This may seem unnecessary sometimes, especially when we think the other person has the same information we ourselves are working with, but we have to remember they also have their own inner voice, evaluating what they hear in light of their own issues and needs. With so much to consider and sift through, we are truly better off if we communicate precisely. Not only does doing this minimize the chance for misinterpretation, but voicing our thoughts it is an act of creation. We convert thought and imagination to sound, releasing it from the chamber of our minds into the outside world. This carries energy and intention with it, making our thoughts, wishes, and even dreams come true.
When we have the courage to speak our minds and use our voice to send the desires of our hearts from our inner world to the world outside, we take a bold step in making them happen. By removing fear of what others may think and expectation of what others should understand, we free ourselves and our thoughts from the bondage of the mental chamber and let loose our desires onto the canvas of the world. Next time we become aware that we have a choice about how to communicate, we can choose to use our outside voice and watch its creative power at work. AMEN!
