@Sheba,
Good afternoon! I haven’t slept in 2 days and I just wrote a detailed post and it poofed! I’m going to try again but this one won’t be as detailed because I am so tired!
Update: I said last night that since Alejandra was eating she wouldn’t be having her babies. Well, she proved me wrong! Sometime between dinner and 11:00 last night she had her babies! I have no idea how many because she appears to have made her little nest for them deep in the Nandina “forest”. It’s in the backyard, off of the kitchen/family room. We have lots of huge 8 ft tall Nandinas growing against the fence, under a huge tree and it is virtually a forest in there! She and the babies will be dry and warm there. I didn’t sleep because I was worrying that they were strewn all over again but we went and as quietly as we could checked the yard last night and listened very hard for cries but all was quiet. 😀 Bart is hanging around too which is a good sign because he is the protector of baby kittens and he wouldn’t be here if they weren’t with their mommy.
Now on to Tammy-Tabitha,
She moved her babies to the front yard under some very dense bushes (the same ones where she had Jess, Harper, Laramie and Pumpkin. They will be undetectable for about 5 weeks until they start venturing out. At least that is where we think she moved them. We don’t want her to feel nervous by checking in the bushes. We will be working very hard on the garage so hopefully we can coax them all in there at that time so there are no more stolen babies. I still hurt from that one…
I have not slept in 2 days due to worry over all this and so early this morning (3:30-4:00) I was in the kitchen and Tammy-Tabitha walked by the kitchen door with the calico baby in her mouth! She had begun moving her babies at that time and worked all through to this morning! I think there are 6 babies but not sure when they are huddled together. They are really good sized babies and all clean and fluffy! I do know she has a calico, a grey and white, and a black and white. I think there might be a solid grey. I know who the daddy is of that one and he is beautiful with bright green eyes. We tried so hard to shoo all those boys away!Thanks Sheba, Cherie and Taci for your congrats on T-T’s babies! 😀
Hubby is at cardiologist now going through some testing. It will take 4-6 hours. It has been a long day (and night). I really hope I can sleep tonight. Last night my tooth also was throbbing and contributing to my difficulty in sleeping. I have another consult set up for the oral surgery and I will also be seeing both cardiologists just beforehand so I will get everything taken care of soon. I am hoping my son can drive down in about 6 weeks and take a kitten or two. I’m not sure he can get the time, plus he may be moving within 6 months. I am going to hope anyway! My daughter already has a bunny and 5 cats. She has taken in Calianne (the calico down the street that was abandoned). She is sooo happy in her new home and is quite sweet. She is fitting right in with the other kitties. 😀
Well, I’ve got to eat lunch and get some laundry done. I am going to take it easy today and veg in front of the tv so hopefully I will get to doze off a little. Please keep us all in your prayers.
@bichon18, if you are reading this, I hope you are having a blast! I miss you!
@southernlights55, I hope fur baby is recovering well and feeling better every day!

Writing Your Story
We all have a story to tell, whether you publish it or keep it to yourself or family; allow yourself to be heard.
Everyone, at one time or another, has wanted to express his or her story. Writing a memoir to read privately, share with family or friends, or publish is an emotionally satisfying way to gain perspective on your experiences while sharing your unique voice. We’ve all experienced feelings and events in our lives that we are longing to write down. Giving in to that urge can give you an outlet for purging any frustration, anxiety, or long-dormant feelings. No one else has to read it. You may even want to write your story without reading it right away. Satisfying the need to tell your story is not predicated upon your writing ability. It does, however, take effort to write down the truth in detail. Your memories, captured on paper as descriptive scenes, sights, sounds, and scents, may at first seem disconnected or incomplete. But rest assured that you possess the ability to shape your recollections into stories.
Everyone wants to be heard. Reading your story to others can meet that need. Writing your story can also help you understand your life experiences. And when you finish writing, you may be surprised at what you have accomplished. Your story can encompass as much or as little of your life as you prefer. You may surprise yourself with new insights, or you may find yourself exploring your roots, your identity, and your future through your words. Allow your writing to guide you and write as truthfully as possible. Don’t worry about what others will think of your personal journey, your style of writing, or your words.
Research has shown that writing a personal narrative filled with feelings and perceptions can create long-term health benefits. As you write, remember to have compassion for yourself, particularly when writing about traumatic events. If you are a young person, you can add to your life story as you grow older. Your writing may help family members know you better, or they may understand themselves more through reading about your experiences. More importantly, you are expressing yourself in a permanent way, giving a gift to yourself, and letting your voice be heard.
