Hi Sheba – another run around day with mom. Hubby leaves tomorrow for a 4 day “guy” weekend on the golf course so it’s me and Jake running the house until Sunday. I can leave the TV and lights on in the bedroom while I read, yay! No cooking dinner, I will eat what I want and when I want, yay! I do not have to answer any questions, yay! And by Sunday, I’ll have missed him and be ready to welcome him home. We may have some severe storms tomorrow so keep fingers crossed no trees down or electric out. You know how Jake and rain get along. After that, perfect weather for 3 days so you know what I’ll be doing. Hugs to you and Poppy from the ‘burg.

Yes, I am very concerned about Cherie she would have never missed Taci and I birthdays.
Cherie said they were due back in LA this week. I am hoping she just need time to herself.
I hope her mother reads the thread from time to time and let us know if all is well.

I get these feelings sometimes. I would eat a light meal and watch a movie with my husband
tonight if I were you.

I am still in the birthday spirit and enjoying it very much. I had breakfast in bed.
Red Roses and lot’s of Heidi Daus plus other goodies. 🙂 I try to cover some good
music on this thread. I have played some Motown. Let me know what you would like
to have cover. I enjoy doing this and as a singer I am familiar with a lot of genre of music. 🙂

I have to see what Marla has because I have a hot 20% off I have to use by August 31.

So glad to see you back posting. Sounds like you and hubby are recovering nicely. I am so very happy for you both.

I think it is safe to call you and hubby Doctors of Veterinary Medicine and you are the kitten angels from heaven! Your devotion to these sweet animals is off the charts and I commend you both. I volunteer at a shelter and this time of year is just crazy with cats. They even had a 2 for 1 adoption for cats/kittens recently because there are so many. My husband and I handle dogs but I haven’t been there much since my stepdad died because I have to help mom out a lot. It is a no-kill shelter so every animal has a home there until they get adopted or die. Whenever I walk past the cat rooms, I always think of you and your brood and wish you were at our shelter with all your love and caring.💕💕😇😇

Yes, tomorrow is my Hubby’s birthday. He asked for a small get together at home….and a 2019 Shelby Mustang!!! LOL.
My kitchen looks like tomorrow should be Thanksgiving😀😀. I don’t mind as I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes.
Earlier this year, Hubby had back surgery. It turned out better than expected and has resumed his normal activities. Today’s message was meaningful because of how Blessed we are in that he is able to enjoy walking with me and the fur babies again.
The 2 munchkins are getting ready for Daddy’s BD too. Jewel and Little D got a bath today and helping me in the kitchen🐶
