The sun was out for a short time today. We are also getting rain every single day. Many of our freeways are flooded with people being stranded. One freeway has water 14 feet deep. The governor will declare a State of Emergency for some cities 40 miles south of us. My heart breaks for those who have flooded homes and seeking shelter in churches and schools. My house is up on a big hill so I am good. As a matter of fact, our entire neighborhood has a high elevation. I am putting together clothing and food to drop off at the shelters but I have to wait until it’s safe to head down there. Sheba, try to stay dry in Oz.

Cherie, i’ve Been reading your posts about Skinn. Tell your mom thank you. I am going to give Noir Rose a try. I love Pep40. Some of the reviews scared me off from Noir Rose because some said it’s greasy. I have dry skin but still don’t want to feel greasy. Other users might have used too much. Sounds like it has the same consistency as Perlier 99% Shea Butter, which I love. I have to melt in my hand before applying.

I had an issue with Heidi’s website. Pattie took care of me. I think she is a good replacement for Suzie and tries to really take care of Heidi’s Girls.

How are you today dear one? We also have rain. It is strange we are getting bands of heavy rain but it is gentle…no thunder or lightning. Most unusual. Ari is okay. I think he is Skyping with Poppy.

We are guess where? In fron5 of the television. I am looking forward to a thrilling evening of repetitive news. Over and over and I hope to get tired and fall asleep early. News news news news..you are getting sleepy.

Nothing new to Heidi yet. I want to do my sleuthing so the code can be cracking. Aren’t we due for bracelets or pins? Can got pear earrings. This is a gorgeous suite. I have my eye on the Wisteria or the Magnolia.

But first…the TS. Ari and Jerry are going to receive the Ace of Spades and the Ace of Clubs pins soon. They will go in my mother’s day Present. They will be cute with black or white and for couples Canasta. We are all nuts I think.

Coming Back to Center in a Relationship

In a long-term relationship, it is often necessary to get back to basics and come back to center with each other.

Anyone in a long-term relationship knows that the dance of intimacy involves coming together and moving apart. Early in a relationship, intense periods of closeness are important in order to establish the ground of a new union. Just as a sapling needs a lot more attention than a full-grown tree, budding relationships demand time and attention if they are to fully take root. Once they become more established, the individuals in the union begin to turn their attention outward again, to the other parts of their lives that matter, such as work, family, and friendships. This is natural and healthy. Yet, if a long-term relationship is to last, turning towards one another recurrently, with the same curiosity, attention, and nurturance of earlier times, is essential.

In a busy and demanding world full of obligations and opportunities, we sometimes lose track of our primary relationships, thinking they will tend to themselves. We may have the best intentions when we think about how nice it would be to surprise our partner with a gift or establish a weekly date night. Yet somehow, life gets in the way. We may think that our love is strong enough to survive without attention. Yet even mature trees need water and care if they are to thrive.

One of the best ways to nourish a relationship is through communication. If you feel that a distance has grown between you and your partner, you may be able to bridge the gap by sharing how you feel. Do your best to avoid blame and regret. Focus instead on the positive, which is the fact that you want to grow closer together. Sometimes, just acknowledging that there is distance between you has the effect of bringing the relationship into balance. In other cases, more intense effort and attention may be required. You may want to set aside time to talk and come up with solutions together. Remember to have compassion for each other. You’re in the same boat together and trying to maintain the right balance of space and togetherness to keep your relationship healthy and thriving. Express faith and confidence in each other, and enjoy the slow dance of intimacy that can resume between the two of you.

I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but I can’t wait to see this picture. All the marvel movies
are great. Good to see Robert Downey, Jr in most of the movies. What a comeback. 🙂

Yeah I am glad the labs are over and looking good. The only supplement she took me off
was the Coral Calcium. I was able to take the rest of the Andrew Lessman just fine.

I do brisk walks everyday to make sure everything is working out. LOL! I do feel good afterwards.

I have things on my mind like all of us and it’s just family matters. I am going to escape into
the show for three hours and not think. Cherie thanks for letting me know what to do BEFORE
the show. We have great lounge chairs in our theaters well OZ got that one right. ♥ All I need
is fresh popcorn and I bring my own Green Tea. Captain/LeChef did a great job with the
food. Thanks to your mom again for the great advice on the SKINN Line. ♥ Enjoy the day
