Hi shoelady! How are you doing today? I just wanted to say I read what you posted to me below and wanted to tell you that you are very sweet! Thank you for the kind words. I WISH we were Doctors of Veterinary Medicine because then we wouldn’t have the vet bills we have! Lol!
I commend you for your work at the no kill shelter and certainly understand that life happens and gets in the way of our plans and intentions sometimes. I wish I could help out more now but I think I actually LIVE and operate in a cat shelter! Lol! I help out financially these days but wish I had the land and space (and funds) to help any and all animals that need help and love! Cats are just who I mostly bond with and they with me – I hear that cats know who the cat people are and I’m beginning to believe they get the word out somehow. I love animals… always have. They just light me up inside. Maybe it’s selfish of me but I think I need them just as much as they need me. Next time you walk by the cat rooms at your shelter, please give them my love. I pray each of them will find a special home with special people who will love them! 😀

How are you this evening? I appreciate your sense of humor and you made me laugh. 😀 Yes, things are slowly getting back to normal but it will be some time before I start shopping. We finally cut the cable and unplugged for a while so I missed out on some things around here and slept a LOT! The kitties require a lot of energy from us to keep up with them and everything going on these days but it will get back to normal. Truthfully (and here is my attempt at light humor), I am not sure we are “normal”. 😀
I’ve been wanting to get caught up with everyone so here is my opportunity to say THANK YOU for thinking of me, wishing me well during my angiogram and for sending love and healing thoughts to both hubby and me. We appreciate it very much.
I did post a happy belated birthday to you in the birthday thread and I am sorry I missed your special day but I hope you had a great time! Did you and hubby get out to see that movie you mentioned?

I know she will be fine but I hear ya, it’s out of character for her so of course the inclination is to worry. Just keep her in your prayers and before we know it, we will all be breathing a sigh of relief! 😀

My tooth hasn’t settled down either, throbbing comes and goes so I take xtra strength tylenol or advil if it gets bad. Hang in there – you have been so patient and you will see the specialist next week. I will be saying prayers for you. I just hate tooth issues… no fun. Make sure you get enough rest and stay hydrated so you will heal fast. Prayers and kitty hugs! 😀
