@kittengirl … So Chicken is the Cat’s Meow! So funny, our last 2 kitties loved Costco canned chicken. They always loved the gravy from their canned roast beef too. And OH BOY, Heaven help ya if you tried to eat Beef Jerky without plenty for them! They would go bananas! Noses wiggling a mile a minute! Now, we’ve had cat’s for decades, and our kitties never showed interest in avocados … interesting. They loved melon, cantaloupe, cheese, milk, cream, and I remember SHORTBREAD Cookies! Man, those guys just loved those cookies. Anyway, I hope you have more good news on your health soon KITTEN. Give those little baby kitties belly rubs … Kitty Hugs.

So glad Sheba that you Enjoyed a Safe & Peaceful night sleep. You are so right, Cherie is not sure how we end up with soo much but it is just the best to be able to give. I sure hope everything stays calm so you all have time to recover from all of this. I sure hope that little guy finds his way back to his family. Have you heard anything from your ex-neighbor who now lives in Palm Springs? I was just curious on how he was doing and if you knew how he was liking the desert life. Didn’t know where I should post to you so hope it’s ok to put it here. Getting caught up and just wanted to thank you for the kind words. 😀 OH, and how sweet you want to “borrow” my son should you ever fly. 😀
You asked me if my kitties have a fave food. Well, the answer would be yes. They all love chicken and when I’m cooking it in a big ol’ pot or the crock pot they go crazy! I tend to simmer or slow cook in large quantities so we can have it shredded for tacos, chicken soup, chicken salad, enchiladas or chicken and biscuits. I have to fight them off! LOL! Of course I always reward their patience even if they failed in being patient! What’s a mommy to do? OH, they are sooo cute! 😀
One of the other things my kitties love is strangely enough, avocado! I’m really not sure if they should eat it but when I mash it up I let them lick the plate clean. They also love tuna juice.
BTW, the kitten you posted when you asked me that is so absolutely ADORABLE! I squealed and showed hubby who laughed. 😀

I was just reading and getting caught up on everyone! Wow! I must be the only person in the world that didn’t know you had a tornado! How absolutely horrifying! I am relieved to find out you came through it without harm. You are lucky! I’m so glad you and your family and Poppy are all ok! Hugs to you and Poppy!

Hi Sheba!

I’m so glad to hear all is calm in OZ! Things are calm here too now that I’ve survived my dr appointments! And labs! Lol! I’ve been busy with lots of irons in the fire, that is a very accurate statement Sheba! I will write more tomorrow but just wanted to check in and let you and the girls know I’m still here! 😀

I’ve had both good news and bad news from Dr.
Good news first: my cholesterol is within normal range now and I am doing the happy dance! Overall cholesterol went from 332 down to 195! And my LDL went from 243 down to 118! 😀 Sooo happy about that! My vitamin D is perfect at 38!
The test results have shown I have a very strong heart so that means none of what is going on has weakened it or caused any damage. Yay for a strong heart! 😀 I have also lost 6 lbs. 😀
Now for the bad news: My sugar levels have gone up a little and I am still pre-diabetic. I think the reason for this is I have been eating more pasta and soft foods because of my dental issues. I am going to be working very hard on getting this number down by July. I can’t have the dental surgery until the heart issues are taken care of which leads me back to the bad news. My cardiologist finally got the records and test results. I was hoping he would have a different opinion and tell me that an angiogram/stent wasn’t necessary but that is not what I heard today. I am trying to get it pushed out to July so I can get those sugar levels down and besides, I’m just plain terrified. It may be blockage that is setting off the A-Fib lately and making everything so erratic. Dr. scanned all my readings and told me what numbers to look out for that would mean a trip to ER. He said I’m doing a good job and to not worry, we will get this all taken care of. He has done over 13,000 angiograms/stents so I am in very capable hands. I may feel so much better after this that I wont even need the other surgery! I sure hope so! 😀

Well, just wanted to update you and I will post more tomorrow. Our garage is being done on Monday and Tuesday so we have to get everything moved out by Sunday, Yikes! It’s hot here.
